The aim of the current research was to theoretically analyze the Rothwell’s model for succession planning and to clarify its sequential steps for the preparation of the alternative leader, as well as to theoretically analyze the job description card (form) for the school principal in the Egyptian Ministry of Education, in order to come up with some suggestions for the preparation of the second-line leadership at school or the alternative leader in a model scientific manner that is proven successful. To achieve the aim of this research, the descriptive research method was adopted in order to describe and clarify the studies related to the two variables of the present research, in addition to attempting to come up with theoretical generalizations that can be used. This research concluded with a proposal to plan the succession of the school principal in light of the Rothwell’s model, which consists of seven steps, each step includes a set of executive procedures that take place inside the school and through which succession planning can be achieved for the school principal.

This study aimed at determining the managerial implementation of school principals at SD Negeri 24 Pulau Rimau. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research approach. The subject is the school principal at SDN 24 Pulau Rimau. The informants are the school principal and teacher. Data collection techniques were (1) observation; (2) interview; and (3) documentation. The collected data is examined for the validity of the data, using triangulation, with verification and checking of the adequacy of the references. The results of this study were the ability of the managerial implementation of principals at SD Negeri 24 Pulau Rimau was very good seen from planning, organizing, directing, and supervising.

The main objective of educational institutions is the output of their students. Therefore it requires good student management as well as the role of the principal in running and managing it. This research uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The purpose of this research is to describe in real terms the implementation of student management and to know the role of the principal in the management of students at MI Nurul Yaqin Bululawang Malang. Data collection techniques include: observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were school principals, student staff, teachers, PPDB committee heads, students and alumni of MI Nurul Yaqin Bululawang Malang. The results showed that: 1) the implementation of student management at MI Nurul Yaqin Bululawang Malang was quite good. This is evidenced by implementing the stages of student management properly even though there are some that have not been implemented. 2) the role of the head of the madrasah in the implementation of student management has been carried out properly in accordance with its role as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and motivator.

The rapid growth in Pune city has created a great demand for the hospitality skilled personnel but has resulted in a high attrition rate in recent years. Hotels now days are focusing upon certain Human Resource practices pertaining to areas of Turnover Management, Retention Management, Talent Management, Succession planning, Compensation Management, Motivation Techniques, Work Life Balance etc. The study is in a category of descriptive research and has studied various existing practices of ERM System followed by hotels in Pune city and will include surveys by means of a questionnaire and fact finding enquiries of different kinds. HR department of the hotel not only has to come up with effective system to ensure employee satisfaction but also have to make a conscious effort to cope up with the challenges pertaining to employee retention. Hotels in Pune could adopt effective ERM System which has a great impact on stay back of employees.

Islamic faith being the theological core and reference of Islam was revealed by divine revelation- the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah. This revelation proposes fundamental rules to guide the process of Hisbah (accountability in respect of theological views). This study figures out the extent of serious danger that individuals and societies encounter when avoiding and neglecting the rules and guidance of Hisbah originated by divine revelation. Thus, this study investigates the rules and approaches of Hisbah in solving theological deviations of both individual and society. The study also discusses the role of Islamic theology in handling and managing these rules and approaches in respect of Islamic jurisprudence of Hisbah. This study uncovers the deviations of the approaches of some extremist sects i.e. al-Khawarij and al-Mutazilah. To come up with outstanding results, the study adopts a comparative descriptive research method. Keywords: Hisbah, Aqidah, Rules and Guidance, Infidel, Al-Khawarij, Al-Mutazilah, Islamic Groups فإنه لما كانت العقيدة الإسلامية هي بيضة الإسلام وحصنه ومرجعيته جاءت هذه العقيدة من خلال الوحي -القرآن والسنة- بجملة من الأُسس لضبط حركة الحسبة لتقف على الانحرافات في تطبيقاتها في مسائل العقيدة الإسلامية تحديدًا التي يتحقق بها أمن المجتمعات والدول. لذلك جاءت هذه الدراسة لتضع الأُسس والضوابط التي تقف عليها الحسبة في معالجتها للانحرافات العقدية لدى الأفراد والجماعات، وستكشف هذه الدراسة عن مدى خطورة تجنب هذه الأُسس المنطلقة من مرجعية الوحي وأثر ذلك في الأفراد والجماعات والمجتمعات، وعن دور العقيدة الإسلامية في تنظيم هذه الأسس ومراعاتها لفقه الأولويات في الحسبة. وكشفت هذه الدراسة عن الأسس المنحرفة لدى الفرق المتطرفة (كالخوارج، والمعتزلة) في فهمها لأسس الحسبة. ونهجت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المقارن. الكلمات المفتاحية: الحسبة، العقيدة، الضوابط، التكفير، الخوارج، المعتزلة، الجماعات الإسلامية.

In order to establish a successful school, prospective school principals' perceptions are crucial. Perception has an effect on school quality because it impacts reaction and decision-making. The aim of this study was to understand prospective school principals' perceptions of the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation Number 6 of 2018 concerning the Appointment of Teachers as School Principals, which was conducted using a quantitative approach through a survey of 77 prospective school principals from Central and East Java Provinces. The findings revealed that: the age of the prospective school principal does not have a significant effect on policy perceptions;  the length of work as a prospective school principal teacher has no significant effect on policy perceptions; there is a significant difference between the principal candidates for primary school, junior high school and senior high school/vocational high school in perceiving policies; there is no significant difference between male and female principal candidates in their perception of the policy; there is no significant difference between prospective school principals based on tank (from III b to IV b) in perceiving policies; there is a significant difference between prospective school principals with bachelor's and master's degrees in perceiving policies; there is no significant difference between prospective school principals who have not and have read Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No. 6 of 2018 in perceiving the policy; and that there is no significant difference between prospective school principals who have not and have specifically reviewed Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No. 6 of 2018 in perceiving the policy.

Having the ability of lifelong learning is essential for teachers in the manner of guidance of the society. The aim of this research is examining the ability of lifelong learning of teachers. The set of this research consists 124 teachers who is elected by random sample method and works in schools of Ministry of Education. Quantitative approaches based on this study is descriptive research method of survery model. the "Lifelong Learning Tendencies Scale" was used by Coskun Diker (2009) as the data collection tool in the study,. It was determined that the scale consists of four sub-dimensions: motivation, persistence, lack of regulation of learning, and lack of curiosity, as the results of the explanatory factor analysis. The Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient of the scale which consists of 27 items was found as 0.89. The data were analyzed on the basis of gender, age, education level and seniority. SPSS 18. Package program was used to analyze the data. It was revealed that the teachers do not show a significant difference in all sub-dimensions in the Lifelong Learning Scale at the end of the study.

This study aims to explore the current selection practices of school principals in the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. The study covers three main objectives: to investigate the current practices and policies regarding the recruitment of school principals in public schools in the UAE; to explore how the Ministry of Education equips school principals for leadership positions; and to survey school principals’ views on recruitment and training and their on-going professional development needs. Currently there are three main stages in the recruitment process: the first stage is to submit an online application, the second stage is the interview, and the third stage is undergoing a probation period as a school principal. A significant finding was that school principals at present are not satisfied with the current recruitment process and see it in need of change. Thus some recommendations made in this study are presented based on the research findings and school principals’ reflections and experiences. School principals felt they would benefit from more specialized training in leadership and management skills, as well as, visits to successful schools both in the United Arab Emirates and overseas. One important recommendation was to develop a new academic diploma focusing on management and leadership skills for school principals, a ‘Principalship Diploma’ which covers the fundamental core content, training and requirements for educational leadership and effective performance. School principals play an imperative role in supporting the school, staff, and student performance, and therefore it is extremely important to create a clear, transparent and effective hiring policies in order to hire the most competent, effective and best performing school principals to lead the educational reform process in the United Arab Emirates.

Tujuan dari peneliti ini yaitu untuk mengetahui (1) karakteristik kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung; (2) pola bimbingan orang tua asuh dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung; (3) hasil pola bimbingan orang tua asuh dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif, pemilihan subjek dan informan dengan cara acak dan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara terhadap enam orang anak asuh dan tiga orang tua asuh. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa anak sebelum memperoleh pengasuhan dari orang tua asuh di RPSAA memiliki karakteristik kecerdasan emosional rendah. Pola pengasuhan yang diterapkan di RPSAA kepada anak asuh adalah pola asuh demokratis. Sedangkan hasil pengasuhan dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung menyimpulkan bahwa anak asuh usia remaja telah memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang cukup baik, yaitu terlihat dari bagaimana cara mereka mampu mengendalikan segala perasaan yang pada dirinya, meskipun ada remaja yang belum sepenuhnya memenuhi aspek kecerdasan emosional.   The goal of these researchers is to figure out (1) characteristics of the emotional intelligence of teenagers in RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung; (2) foster parents guidance pattern in fostering emotional intelligence RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung in adolescents; (3) results foster parents guidance pattern in fostering emotional intelligence RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung in teens. This research used the qualitative approach with descriptive research method, the selection of subjects and informants by means of random and data gathering techniques through observation, interview and documentation against six people and three foster care parents foster care. The research results obtained by researchers concluded that child before obtaining care of foster parents in RPSAA has the characteristic of low emotional intelligence. Parenting patterns are applied in the RPSAA to foster care parenting is democratic. While parenting results in fostering emotional intelligence RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung teenager in concluding that foster care teens have had a pretty good emotional intelligence, that is visible from how they are able to control all the feelings on him, even though there are teenagers who do not yet fully meet aspects of emotional intelligence.
