Shyness and loneliness both are very common in human being. Loneliness is often associated with a variety of personality characteristics which interfere with the formation of interpersonal relationship. In many studies it is found that shyness and loneliness are interrelated with each other. The present study was conducted on college students. The sample size consists of 60 college students (30 boys and 30 girls) of Ranchi city. The sample was selected by stratified random sampling. Objectives: To know the prevalence of shyness among the sample groups; to know the prevalence of loneliness among sample groups; to find the interrelationship between shyness and loneliness. Hypothesis: The prevalence of shyness will be vary among sample groups; the prevalence of loneliness will be vary among sample groups; There will be positive interrelationship between shyness and loneliness. Methodology: The sample was selected by stratified random sampling. Cheek and Buss (1981) Shyness scale and David Resell’s (1996) loneliness scale were used for data collection. The data were statistically analyzed using percentage analyses, Means, SD, t-test and Pearson ‘r’. Conclusion: According to research finding prevalence of shyness is high among students as compare to loneliness. Prevalence of shyness is same among boys and girls, but loneliness is slightly high among girls as compare to boys. It is found by the present study that there is no relationship between shyness and loneliness among college students of Ranchi city.

Developing and maintaining interpersonal relationship is important for success in life. Interpersonal relationship serves as a base for social support that plays a crucial role particularly in emotionally charged situations. It is also noted that interpersonal relationship enhances overall wellbeing of man. The present study is done to find out how students behave and what kind of behavior they expect from others. For this purpose, FIRO – B questionnaire developed by Schultz (1958) was used with a sample of 200 college students who were selected through stratified random sampling method from two colleges in Salem city. The strata used in this study are gender, discipline and order of birth. The collected data were analyzed using t-test that revealed significant gender difference in expressed inclusion and wanted control dimensions of interpersonal relationship. Further, arts discipline students significantly differed from science discipline students in wanted control. There was a significant difference in expressed inclusion and wanted affection based on order of birth of the students.

This study is aimed to determine and analyze the effect of the implementation of motivation and culture on the employees productivity at Huta Padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is a survey. The sample was determined by stratified random sampling method, 95 people. The data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially and simultaneously, the implementation of motivation and culture had a positive and significant effect on the employess productivity at Huta padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera. The determination coefficient value of 0.882, indicates that the influence of the implementation of motivation and culture on the employess productivity of Huta Padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera is 88.2%. The culture has more dominant influence on the employees produktivity at  Huta Padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera, with a direct influence of 73,2%.

ABSTRAK Indikator D/S di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Saguling Desa Cipangeran pada tahun 2016 menunjukkan masih rendahnya kunjungan balita dalam kegiatan posyandu dengan rata-rata hanya memcapai 41,5%, sedangkan target standar palayanan kota jumlah D/S yaitu 85%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keteraturan ibu dalam mengunjungi Posyandu dari faktor pengetahuan di Desa Cipangeran Kecamatan Saguling Kabupaten Bandung Barat tahun 2017. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Populasi seluruh balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Saguling tahun 2016 sebanyak 424 ibu balita, besar sampel yang diambil 81 ibu balita, pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan Sampel Random Sampling, pengumpulan data dengan hasil kuesioner berisi pertanyaan untuk mendapatkan data yang berkaitan dengan variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian pengetahuan ibu balita didapatkan hampir setengah berada dikategori cukup yaitu 47 ibu balita (58%), namun masih ada ibu balita yang memiliki pengetahuan baik yaitu 18 ibu balita (22%), dan ibu balita yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang yaitu 16 ibu balita (20%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian didapatkan tingkat pengetahuan ibu balita yang tidak teratur dalam mengunjungi Posyandu di Desa Cipangeran Kecamatan Saguling Kabupaten Bandug Barat hampir setengah ibu balita berpengetahuan cukup. ABSTRACT The D / S indicator in the working area of ​​Saguling Public Health Center of Cipangeran Village in 2016 indicates that the low number of toddler visits in posyandu activities reaches an average of 41.5%, while the standard target for city / city is 85%. The purpose of this study is to determine the regularity of mothers in visiting Posyandu from knowledge factor in Cipangeran Village, Saguling District, West Bandung regency in 2017. This research method using analytical method with cross sectional approach. The data used is primary data.The population of all toddlers in the working area of Saguling Publich Health Center in 2016 were 424 mother, the sample size was 81 mother, using Random Sampling , data collection with questionnaires containing questions to obtain data related to the variables studied. The result of the research of the knowledge of the mother of the toddler is almost sufficient, namely 47 mothers (58%),but there are still mother who have good knowledge that is 18 mother of toddler (22%) and mother with less knowledge that is 16 mother of balita (20%). The conclusion of the research is the level of knowledge of irregular mother in visiting Posyandu in Cipangeran Village, Saguling, of West Bandung district, almost half of the toddler are knowledgeable enough.

Loyalitas dapat diciptakan dari kepuasan pelanggan terhadap bauran pemasaran, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) pengaruh kepuasan atas produk, kepuasan atas harga, kepuasan atas promosi, kepuasan atas lokasi, kepuasan atas karyawan, kepuasan atas proses dan kepuasan atas sarana fisik terhadap loyalitas pengunjung Taman Wisata Bukit Khayangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pelanggan pengunjung remaja sampai dewasa Taman Wisata Bukit Khayangan tahun 2009 sampai 2015 dengan jumlah 482.500 orang.Dari populasi ditarik sampel sebanyak 323 orang pengunjung.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepuasan atas produk terhadap loyalitas pengunjung Taman Wisata Bukit Khayangan, 2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepuasan atas harga terhadap loyalitas pengunjung Taman Wisata Bukit Khayangan, 3) terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepuasan atas promosi terhadap loyalitas pengunjung Taman Wisata Bukit Khayangan, 4) terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepuasan atas lokasi terhadap loyalitas pengunjung Taman Wisata Bukit Khayangan, 5) terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepuasan atas pegawai terhadap loyalitas pengunjung Taman Wisata Bukit Khayangan, 6) terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepuasan atas proses terhadap loyalitas pengunjung Taman Wisata Bukit, 7) tidak terdapat pengaruhsignifikan kepuasan atas bukti fisik terhadap loyalitas pengunjung Taman Wisata Bukit Khayangan. </p><p><em><br /></em></p><p> </p>

The objective of the present study is to investigate the relationship between managers’ professionalism and (technical, human, and perceptual) skills in managers of Iran Poly Akril Company. The research is an applied one in terms of objectives, and a descriptive-correlational in terms of method. The population includes all experts working in the company in 2012 as 240 individuals among who 144 participants were selected using the stratified random sampling method proportionate to the population size as the sample size. The data collection instruments were two researcher-made questionnaires of Managers’ skills containing 22 items and with the reliability coefficient as 0.96, and Professionalism containing 28 items and the reliability coefficient as 0.95. Their validity was investigated and confirmed by professors and experts of management. Analyzing data was conducted at the two level of descriptive statistics (frequency, mean, SD, and presentation of tables and charts) and inferential statistics (one sample t-test, correlation coefficient, regression coefficient, ANOVA, and F-test).

AbstrakUsaha peternakan itik alabio di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara belum berkembang sebagaimana mestinya ditunjukkan 80 persen peternak kepemilikannya dibawah 500 ekor. Pengembangan agribisnis itik alabio dengan  memperhatikan semua subsistem menjadi penting agar diperoleh tingkat produksi dan pendapatan maksimal.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji keterkaitan antar subsistem agribisnis itik alabio petelur terhadap produksi dan pendapatan peternak. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey, penentuan sampel peternak memakai teknik stratified random sampling, sedangkan sampel pedagang, breeder dan pembesaran melalui teknik purposive. Hipotesis diuji dengan analisis multivariat, uji F dan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan agribisnis melalui peningkatan produksi dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan sumber bibit, harga kandang, jumlah pakan, jumlah tenaga kerja dan biaya pemasaran, sedangkan melalui peningkatan pendapatan dengan memperhatikan sumber bibit, harga bibit, harga kandang, jumlah pakan dan biaya pemasaran. Secara bersama-sama semua subsistem menentukan namun secara parsial subsistem lembaga penunjang tidak menentukan tingkat produksi dan pendapatan peternak.Kata kunci : Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara, itik alabio, pengembangan gribisnis.AbstractAlabio duck farming businesses in Hulu Sungai Utara district have not yet been developed as it should be, it indicated that 80 percent of the owners farmers just owned under 500 ducks. Alabio duck agribusiness development with attention to all subsystems become important in order to obtain the maximum level of production and income. This research aimed to examine the linkages between agribusiness subsystems of Alabio duck layers . Research used a survey method with stratified random sampling technique, while the sample traders, breeders and growers by using purposive. The hypothesis testing analysis used multivariate analysis, F test and T test. The results showed, agribusiness development through increased production can be done with the source of female ducks, cages prices, the amount of feed, the amount of labor and marketing costs. While through increasing of revenue could be fulfilled by female duck sources, female duck price, price of the cage, the amount of feed and marketing costs. Together of all subsystems were crucial but in partial subsystems supporting institutions did not determine the level of production and income of the farmers. ABSTRACT, This study aims to examine the influence of religious understanding on the performance of Madrasah Ibtidaiah teachers in Manado City. The method used in this research is correlational quantitative. This research is conducted in Madrasah Ibtidaiah in Manado City with the sample size of 96, selected from 127 teachers using proportional stratified random sampling. Data collection is done by using test and nontest instruments. The test is used to collect data on religious understanding and the nontest is used to collect the data of practice and performance. The collected data are then analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of this study indicate that religious understanding has a positive direct effect on teacher performance. To improve teachers’ performance, the efforts made, in relation to these variables, include improving teachers’ religious understanding by renewing teachers’ religious knowledge by strengthening faith and devotion to God, and increasing selfawareness that obedience and sincerity in applying it are inevitable.Keywords: Religious understanding, performance, teachersPengaruh Pemahaman Agama terhadap Kinerja Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiah di Kota Manado

This study aims to see whether there is a relationship between promotion and decision making learners in following the tutoring in BBC Limbanang Kecamatan Suliki Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. This type of research is correlational. The population in this study is the citizens learn BBC learning guidance. Sampling technique in this research is stratified random sampling from entire population. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, while the data collection tool questionnaire. Technique of data analysis by using formula of percentage and product moment. From the results of the study showed that: promotion done by the guidance of learning in BBC less good so that decision to follow guidance study in BBC considered less good also by learners.

This study aims to determine the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in Kartu As products in Makassar City. This research was conducted in Makassar City with 105 respondents. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling. This study was analyzed using hypothesis testing with multiple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 21 computer program, to perform the f-test, t-test, and the calculation of R square (r2). The results of the analysis show that simultaneously the X variable (overall customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction dimensions, confirmation of expectations, re-purchase interest, willingness to recommend and customer dissatisfaction) has a significant effect on customer loyalty. In the t-test, there are two subvariables X that are not significant because the value of t count <t table, namely the dimensions of customer satisfaction (X2), and willingness to recommend (X5). From the calculation of R square (r2) of 0.423, it shows that the percentage of the influence of variable X on variable Y is 42.3%.

The purpose of this study was to improve students' learning discipline at MTs Miftahul Jannah Palangka Raya by using group guidance services. The population in this study amounted to 32 students. The number of research samples consisted of 8 students. Sampling is determined by Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and the scale of learning discipline. The method used is pre-experiment, the technique of collecting data using the Paired-Sample T Test formula or better known as Pre-Post Design is an analysis involving two measurements on the same subject against a particular influence or treatment. The results of the study show that: based on analysis with Paired-Sample T-Test, it shows that students' learning discipline has an initial average increase of 130.13 to 234.13. This means "Group Guidance Services Can Improve Learning Discipline of Students at MTs Miftahul Jannah Palangka Raya 2016/2017 Academic Year". The results of the analysis show that the eight students in the research subject experienced an increase in learning discipline after the intervention.
