Stirred Word and Sentences is a strategy that used to improve students’ writing skill for eighth grade students of MTs. Ma’arif Sukosari. The purpose of this research was to find out how the improvement of students’ writing skill by using Stirred Word and Sentences for the eighth grade students of MTs. Ma’arif Sukosari in academic year 2017/2018. The subject of this research was students of the eighth grade class VIII B in MTs. Ma’arif Sukosari which consisted of 15 students. This research was conducted Classroom Action Research (CAR) that consisted of two cycles, in each cycle consisted of two meetings and four stages, there were: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The researcher used three instruments in this research, there were: Observation Checklist, Questionnaire and Test. Based on the result of this research, the implementation of Stirred Word and Sentences could improve students’ writing skill at the eighth grade students of MTs. Ma’arif Sukosari in academic year 2017/2018. It was seen from the result of Observation Checklist was 55 % in cycle I up to 85 % in cycle II, it meant the students was active. The questionnaire’s result showed that the students were interested in this method. It can be seen from total of questionnaire I was 66.7 % and the questionnaire II was 91.1 %. The students’ percentage who reached minimum standard of passing grade in cycle I was 53.3 % and in cycle II was 100 %, it meant this research was successful.

The study of this research was to figure out the improvement of speaking skill of the eighth grade students of SMP Budi UtamaKerobokan in academic year 2019/2020 through inside outside circle with video. The subjects were the eighth grade students of SMP Budi UtamaKerobokan in academic year 2019/2020. The passing grade of the eight grade students is 77. The design was classroom action research that carried out through inside outside circle with video technique in two cycles, on each cycle consisted of two sessions. The obtained data were collected by administering the instruments to the subjects, then qualitatively from the questionnaire. The result in each cycle showed that the pre-test was 65.5, than there was significant improvement in post-test 1 was 74.8, and last on post-test 2 was 82.7. It means that 75% of the subjects pass the passing grade. The result of the questionnaire showed that 99% of the students agree with implementation of this technique. In short, the present classroom action research showed that speaking skill of the eighth grade students of SMP Budi UtamaKerobokan in academic year 2019/2020 can be improved through inside outside circle with video.

Dictation is an ancient technique in teaching language becoming one of interesting ways to improve the students’ listening comprehension proposed by Davis & Rinvolucri (1988). This study was aimed to solve the students’ listening comprehension achievement by using dictation techniques as a technique in teaching listening at SMPN 35 Surabaya in the academic year 2020/2021. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was applied in this study in two cycles. In this classroom action research, the technique was divided into note taking and partial dictation. The primary data about students listening achievement were gained from the listening test. Meanwhile, the supporting data were gathered from observation and documentation. The results on students’ activity showed the use of text dictation techniques could improve the eighth-grade students’ activity in listening. Furthermore, In the first cycle of the test’ result, the teaching listening activity was not so good as what was expected. On the average, the percentage of the students’ involvement in the process of teaching listening was only 45% in the first meeting and 50% in the second meeting. But, in the second cycle the percentage of students’ involvement in the process of teaching listening increased from 77% in the first meeting to 80% in the second meeting. This improvement happened because of some revision, they were; choosing the text with familiar story for the students, reading the text more clearly, turning up the volume, and using more gestures in teaching listening technique

<div class="WordSection1"><p>The purpose of this study was to increasing students motivation to study biology with implementation of <em>Think talk write </em>learning strategy through increased motivation to learn.This research was a classroom action research through the implementation of <em>Think talk write </em>learning strategy. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of four phases, namely planning, implementation actions (acting), observation, and reflection. The subject were students in grade VIII D SMP Negeri 22 Surakarta academic year 2010/2011. The sources of data derived from teacher and student information, places and events of the ongoing learning activities, and documentation. The techniques and data collection tool used observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data was analysized techniques with descriptive analysis techniques. The data validation used  triangulation techniques.The result proved that the implementation of the classroom action research through the application of <em>Think talk write </em>learning strategy write could be improving the motivation of learning biology in grade VIII D SMP Negeri 22 Surakarta.. Based on observations, questionnaires and interviews. The percentage of each indicator is based on students motivation observation sheets, precycle 39,05%, first cycle 69,52% and second cycle 89,52%. The present Classroom Action Research (CAR) initiated when the researcher found the students at the eighth-grade students of SMP Juara Pekanbaru had low writing skills. This problem could be identified from their base scores below the standard minimum score (GPA). It was 64,06. The purpose of this research was to try to develop the students’ writing skill and to know the factors that influenced the changing of students’ writing skill. This research was conducted from March up to May 2019 in two cycles consisted of ten meetings. The participants of this research were 27 students of the Andalusia class. In improving the students’ writing skill, a narrative text was used as a learning media. The instruments used in this research were writing test, interview, field note and also observation list to help understand the phenomenon. This research showed that the students got the score 72,22 in cycle 1 dan 84,49 in cycle 2, especially on organization with an increase of 4,47. It could be seen that scrambled pictures media could improve the students’ writing skill.

This research is motivated by the low of the students’ interest of learning and learning outcomes. As an effort to increase students’ interest of learning and learning outcomes, Team Assisted Individualization is applied. This research was conducted in class VIII-B SMP Negeri 2 Baturetno. The aim of the research was to determine the increase the students’ interest of learning and learning outcomes in History in Social Subject. The Subject of the research was the Students of VIIIB of SMP Negeri 2 Baturetno Academic Year 2015/2016. This research is a Classroom Action Research which is done in two cycluses. Comparative Descriptive was used in Data Analysis.The result of the research are (1) The Application of the method of cooperative Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) can increase the students’ interest of learning and learning outcomes in History in Social Subject of the Students of VIII-B of SMP Negeri 2 Baturetno Academic Year 2015/2016. In Pre cyclus the interest of students learning is 58,4%, and in cyclus 1 the interest is 71,27%, and in cyclus 2 the interest is 87,41%. (2) The Application of the method of cooperative Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) can increase the learning outcomes of learning and learning outcomes in History Subject of the Students of VIII-B of SMP Negeri 2 Baturetno Academic Year 2015/2016. The result of of mastery learning shows Pre cyclus the interest of students learning is 18,5%, and in cyclus 1 the interest is 62,96%, and in cyclus 2 the interest is 88,89%

Furthermore, In the first cycle of the test’ result, the teaching listening activity was not so good as what was expected. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan meningkatnya keterampilan menulis deskripsi berbahasa Jawa siswa kelas X SMA N 2 Kebumen dengan menggunakan pendekatan proses dan media foto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas atau classroom action research. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian tindakan Kemmis dan Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X2 SMA Negeri 2 Kebumen tahun pelajaran 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, catatan lapangan dan tes. Validitas yang digunakan adalah validitas demo-krasi, validitas proses dan validitas dialogis. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data dalam penelitian tindakan ini adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) siswa dapat menemukan ide lebih cepat, (2) siswa dapat membuat kerangka karangan, (3) siswa dapat mengembangkan kerang-ka karangan, (4) siswa dapat berpikir sistematis, (5) siswa semakin antusiasnya dalam mengikuti pembelajaran menulis karangan, (6) siswa paham melakukan proses mengarang. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ PHOTOGRAPH MEDIA TO IMPROVE THE DESCRIPTION WRITING SKILL OF THE STUDENTS AT SMA NEGERI 2 KEBUMEN   Abstract This research is aimed to describe and to explain the improvement in the description writing skill of the tenth grade students at SMA N 2 Kebumen by using  approach process and photography media. This research is classroom action research or classroom action research. The design used in this research was action research design by Kemmis and Taggart. The subject of the research was X2 class students at SMA Negeri 2 Kebumen in the academic year of 2011/2012, consisted of 32 students. The data collection was done by using observation, field notes and description during the time of the learning activity and also tests (pre test and post test). The validity used was democratic validity because the researcher truthfully collaborated either with the teacher and the students, the research also used process validity, marked by accuracy in the research process and dialogic validity can be shown that the research was implemented by having dialogue with the teacher and the collaborator to seek for critics and suggestion. Reliability in this action research was based on contextual and situational and localized. The technique used to analyze the data in this action research was descriptive. The monitoring on the learning process shows that (1) the students can find ideas faster, (2) the students can make essay framework, (3) the students can develop essay framework, (4) the students can think systematically, (5) the students are more enthusiastic in attending the learning of writing essay, (6) the students understand the process of writing essay. In learning a language, the first thing people should learn is vocabulary. Vocabulary is one of the essential aspects of language.  Without vocabulary nothing can be conveyed.  In other words, vocabulary is the core of the language itself.  The aim of this study is to find out whether or not Substitution and Cued Response Drills Technique gives improvement on students’ vocabulary mastery.  The subject of the study is the students of Class VIII E of SMP Negeri 41 Medan in the Academic Year of 2017/2018.  Vocabulary test, questionnaire, observation sheet and field notes were used as the instruments for collecting data. The results of the study showed the improvement of the students’ vocabulary mastery.  It is proven by the students’ mean score of each test: pre test is 45.37, formative test is 58.28 and post test is 70.12.  Moreover, the improvement could also be seen from the Minimum Mastery Criteria (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum) that showed the percentage of students’ score of pre test is 9.37%, formative test is 31.25%, and post test is 56.25%.  It can be concluded that there is a progress on student score percentage namely 46.88% from pre-test to post-test based on KKM. Therefore, the application of Substitution and Cued Response Drills Technique is suitable to teach vocabulary to the students.

This research was aimed to explain the improvement of the students’ speaking fluency and the students’ speaking accuracy through the of discussion technique in teaching speaking. The research was implemented in SMP Pondok Pesantren Darul Aman Gombara Makassar at the eighth-grade students through a classroom action research (CAR). The researcher took 33 students as the subject of the research. The researcher taught speaking English using practice posters. To find the results, the researcher got the information from the students’ answers on oral test in the form of D-test, the test of a cycle I and test of cycle II. The result of the research using Practice Posters showed that the researcher used the CAR (Classroom Action Research) principle to collect the data. The research conducted through two cycles with each cycle consisted of four meetings. By implementing Practice Posters as a media in teaching speaking, the students had chanced to be active and cooperative in learning speaking so that the students’ speaking accuracy and the students’ speaking fluency achievement were improved significantly. It could be seen from the result of the students’ activities during the action, and the students’ speaking achievement in speaking. The mean score of the students’ speaking D - Test was 3.67. It was categorized as fair classification (low ability). While the mean score of the students’ speaking test in cycle I was 5.02. It is higher than the mean score of the students’ speaking test.  But the result was not significant from the result which was expected according to the background namely 6.5, so the research was continued to the cycle II and the mean score of the students’ speaking achievement of cycle II was 7.16. It was categorized as good. It also indicated that there was a significant score from the result expected in the background namely 6.5. The result above was acquired from the students’ speaking ability in terms of speaking accuracy and speaking fluency.

This research aimed to describe how picture series medium can increase the students’s writing skill for eighth grade at state junior high school 1 of Bintan. Classroom action research was the research design. The research comprised of two cycles with four meeting in the two cycles. A test was the main data of this research. Twenty students in VIII B at state junior high school 1 of Bintan, in the academic year of 019/2020 was the subject of this research. The outcome appeared there were upgrades in students’ writing skill. It tends to be seen from the outcome of each post-test in the two cycles. Students’ test average in cycle 1 was 63.57. Students’ test average in second cycle was 68.87. It means picture series medium could help students in improving their writing skill.
