This study aims to describe: (1) the traditional question structure of the community in Kenagarian Sungai Pinang, Koto XI Subdistrict, Tarusan, South Pesisir Regency: (2) the category of traditional questions of the community in Kenagarian Sungai Pinang, Koto XI Subdistrict, Tarusan, South Pesisir Regency: (3) Community Social Functions in Kenagarian Sungai Pinang Koto XI Subdistrict Tarusan South Pesisir Regency. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. This research data is a traditional question of the community in Kenagarian Sungai Pinang, Koto XI Sub-District, Tarusan, South Pesisir Regency. Data were collected from informants through interview techniques, observation and recording of interviews with informants. Based on the results of the study found the following: (1) the structure of traditional community questions in Kenagarian Sungai Pinang, Koto XI Subdistrict Tarusan, Pesisir Selatan Regency consists of: (a) traditional questions that are contradictory, and (b) traditional questions that do not contradict: (2 ) category of traditional community questions in Kenagarian Sungai Pinang Koto XI Subdistrict Tarusan Pesisir Selatan Regency consists of: (a) similarities with living things, (b) similarities with animals, (c) similarities with some animals, (d) similarities with humans, (e) similarities with some people, (f) similarities with plants, (g) equality with objects, (h) equation with parables, (i) equation with form and function, (j) equation with matter, and (k) equation with actions: (3) the social function of the traditional question of the Community in Kenagarian Sungai Pinang, Koto XI Sub-district Tarusan, South Pesisir Regency consists of: (a) testing the intelligence of others, and (b) amuse.Keywords: Structure, Category, Social Function

This research is aimed to describe: (1) the structure of folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah in Koto Gadang Village, West Tanjung Raya, District Agam; and (2) the social function of folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah in Koto Gadang Village, West Tanjung Raya, District Agam. This sort of research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. This research data is structure and social function of folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah in Koto Gadang Village, West Tanjung Raya, District Agam. Data is collected from informants through two stages, that is (1) recording folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah, and (2) data collection about storytelling environment. The data were analyzed by the steps of: (1) a data inventory phase; (2) classification of data; (3) the stage of discussion or conclusion from data classification results; and (4) the stage of reporting. Based on the research, was found the following statements. (1) The structure of folklore legends Inyiak Susu Sabalah in Koto Gadang Village, West Tanjung Raya, District Agam including: (a) language style; (b) characterization; (c) background; (d) storyline; (e) theme; and (f) mandate. (2) Social functions contained in folklore is inheritance of oral traditions, owner’s society identity, and social control.Keywords: legends, Inyiak Susu Sabalah, Minangkabau

This research aimed to (a) describe the structure of folklore legend of Syekh Katik Sangko in Pasir Subdistrict, central Pariaman District, Pariaman City. (b) describe the social function of folklore legend of Sheikh Katik Sangko in Pasir Village, Central Pariaman District, Pariaman City. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data analysis technique was carried out through four steps. The first step was to carried out data inventory. The second was the data classification or analysis phase. The third step was a discussion and conclusion of the results of classification or data analysis. The last was reporting the research as thesis. The results of this study were found that in the folklore legend of Syekh Katik Sangko in Pasir Subdistrict, central Pariaman District, Pariaman City has 10 figures. The theme in this story is the spreading of Islam in Pariaman. Social functions found are means of education, inheritance and identity. Keywords: structure, social function, folklore

Sebagai kalamullah Al-Qur‘an memiliki pengertian yang tak terbatas. Pemahaman tersebut dapat ditelisik melalui banyak disiplin ilmu serta banyak fenomena yang ditemukan di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk serta fungsi tindak tutur komisif pada Surah Al-Baqarah dan implementasinya sebagai bahan pembuatan teks ceramah SMA kelas XI. Metode yangdigunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Data penelitian diperoleh dari Surah Al-Baqarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat tindak tutur komisif pada Surah Al-Baqarah yang meliputi tindak tutur komisif berniat, menjamin, menawarkan, dan berikrar/berjanji yang memiliki fungsinya masing-masing. Selain itu, tindak tutur komisif pada Surah Al-Baqarah dapat diimplementasikan di dunia pendidikan dengan menggunakannya sebagai bahan pembuatan teks ceramah siswa SMA kelas XI.As kalamullah the Qur'an has unlimited understanding. This understanding can be examined through various scientific disciplines as well as a number of events that develop in the social context of society. The purpose of this study is to describe the form and function of commissive speech acts in the Surah Al-Baqarah and its implementation as material for making class XI high school speech texts. The method used is descriptive qualitative with pragmatic approach. The research data was obtained from the Surah Al-Baqarah. The results of this study are commissive speech acts in the Surah Al-Baqarah which include, commissive speech acts threatening, intending, guaranteeing, offering, and vowing / promising that have their respective functions. In addition, commissive speech acts found in Surah Al-Baqarah can be implemented in the world of education by using them as material for making speech texts for grade XI high school students.

This research had a purpose to describe Social Structure and Function of Legend of Sampuraga Story. The theory used by researchers in this research was folklore theory. The type of this research is qualitative research with description method which is explaining facts explicitly obtained from research object. To be able to describe the Social Structure and Function of the Legend of Sampuraga, this research is done by analyzing the data as an object with the following steps. (1) to describe the Structure of Folklore Legend of Sampuraga. (2) to describe the socio-function of the folklore of the Samapuraga legend. Structures are elements that build a ceruta, there are elements that are (1) characterizations, (2) style of language, (3) events and plot, (4) point of view, (5) background, and (6) theme and mandate. Furthermore, social function is a form of community belief to folklore they have and become a separate function in their social life. The social functions are (1) as a means of entertainment, (2) as a means of education (3) a means of social control, (4) social solidarity inauguration, and (5) group identity. Based on data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that there are only 5 elements in the Structure of Folklore Legend because the point of view is not found in the folklore Legend Sampuraga. All the social functions described above apply to the community of folklore owner Legend Sampuraga.Keywords: folklore, sampuraga, social function

Kapatu is one of the oral literature that developed in the life people of Bima. As oral literature, Kapatu also represents various aspects of the social and cultural life of the Bima people, one of which is the work ethic. In essence, kapatu has been widely studied, but there are no researchers who focus on the problem of work ethic. Previous researchers examined kapu on elements of cultural structure, form and function, educational values, word forms and sound patterns, and language politeness. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to explain the form of the Bima people's work ethic in the Kapatu culture. This research is a qualitative type using a literary anthropological approach and descriptive method. Sources of research data came from two kapatu singers, Tarman N. Jafar and Khadijah who lived in Raba Kodo Village, Woha District, Bima Regency. Research data in the form of an array of kapatu taken from various titles, namely Dali, Teka Mpende, Kae, Lopi Peng, and Tambora. Data collection techniques using interactive techniques. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study are the work ethic of the Bima community through the Kapatu culture which represents a high work ethic. The indication of a high work ethic is because in their work the Bima community instills a humble attitude, does not get satisfied quickly, is disciplined, diligent, has a firm opinion, is brave in doing work, works hard, is responsible, patient in sailing, and does not give up easily. work.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) menemukan bentuk dan fungsi disfemisme pada berita online “detik.com”, (2) menginovasikan bentuk disfemisme pada berita online “detik.com”, dan (3) mendeskripsikan relevansi penginovasian bentuk disfemisme pada berita online “detik.com” sebagai bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu berita online detik.com. Data penelitian ini berupa bentuk dan fungsi disfemisme yang terdapat di berita online detik.com. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teori. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode agih dan padan referensial, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik ganti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari 50 bentuk disfemisme menunjukkan pertama, terdapat tiga bentuk disfemisme yaitu disfemisme bentuk kata, disfemisme bentuk frasa, dan disfemisme bentuk klausa. Kedua, terdapat tujuh fungsi disfemisme, yaitu mengungkapkan keheranan, mengungkapkan keintiman dalam pergaulan, mengungkapkan emosi, mengungkapkan rasa kesal, mengungkapkan penghinaan, mengungkapkan candaan atau tujuan melawak, dan mengungkapkan frustasi dan jengkel. Kata kunci: bentuk, disfemisme, fungsi, penginovasian, relevansi   Abstract This study aims to describe (1) find the form and function of dysphemism in online news "detik.com", (2) to innovate the form of dysphemism on online news "detik.com", and (3) to describe the relevance of the innovation of the form of dysphemism on online news " detik.com "as Indonesian language teaching materials in junior high school. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. Sources of research data is online news detik.com. This research data in the form and function of dysphemism contained in online news detik.com. Techniques of data collection using techniques refer and note. Validity of data in this study using triangulation theory. This research uses the method of agih and referential padan, with data analysis technique using change technique. Based on the results of the research of 50 forms of dysphemism show first, there are three forms of dysphemism, namely word form dysphemism, phrase form dysphemism, and clauses dysphemism. Secondly, there are seven functions of dysphemism: expressing astonishment, expressing social intimacy, expressing emotions, expressing resentment, expressing contempt, expressing jokes or jesting purposes, and expressing frustration and irritation. This research relates to one of the cultures that exist in Mali, namely the culture of eating indigenous. The culture of traditional eating is known as the ritual of hada o na'adi, this ritual is only carried out in a traditional wedding party and is a legacy from ancestors that is still preserved to this day. This paper also aims to look at the hada o na'adi ritual function in a traditional wedding party in Mali. The method used is a qualitative research method using direct interview techniques with several people representing each tribe in Mali and literature study to strengthen this writing. based on data obtained from the field, this study explains that the ritual of hada o na'adi has two main functions, namely the religious function and social function. The religious function of the hada o na'adi ritual is to have magical power to better organize people's mindsets and lives, while the social function is as a symbol of togetherness, courtesy, mutual respect and order.

Recent studies of centennials focus on explaining the social and political contexts for such commemorations. This paper develops an alternative, naturalistic theory of these long-range anniversaries. The paper starts by describing the value of a naturalistic account of complex cultural formations, and by reviewing basic demographic and physiological facts underlying centennial observances. Next, the paper provides a novel taxonomy of three central social functions of centennials, highlighting their roles as standards of greatness, mirrors of progress, and spurs to renovation. Each of these functions reflects the existence of certain predictable limits to human lifespans. The paper concludes by considering some transformations in form and function that centennials might undergo in a potential future of extended longevity.

 This study aims to describe (1) the form of the fatist category and (2) the fatist category function in the Dilan 1990 novel by Pidi Baiq. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive analysis methods.The research data is in the form of sentences containing phatic categories in the Dilan 1990 novel by Pidi Baiq. Methods and techniques of data collection using tapping techniques. Data collection techniques are carried out by identifying data based on the form and function of the fatist category.Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the phatic categories in the Dilan 1990 novel by Pidi Baiq are as follows (1) the form of phatic category is found in four forms, namely phatic particles, phatic words, phobic phrases, and phytic alloys; (2) the phatic category function is found in fourteen functions, namely emphasizing the feeling of rejection; emphasize certainty; request approval from the interlocutor; just emphasis in the sentence; smoothing orders; as confirmation; start and end the conversation; emphasize proof; emphasize reason and denial; emphasize invitation; justify the statement of the interlocutor; give approval to friends to talk; after getting something from friends talking; and replace the question word why or why. Keywords: fatis, form, function, novel

This study aims to describe the social structure and function of people's beliefs, expressions of the prohibition of livelihoods and social relations about fishing and farming in the Kanagarian Kapuh Kecamatan Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data of this study are the people's belief in expressions of prohibition of livelihoods and social relations between going to sea and farming in the Kanagarian Kapuh Kecamatan Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Data is collected from informants through recording techniques of prohibition, recording, observation, and interview. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been done it can be concluded that; (1) The structure of popular belief expressions prohibition is divided into two, namely the structure of two parts and the structure of three parts; (2) The social function of popular belief expressions prohibition is divided into four parts, namely, functioning as a thickening of religious emotions, functioning as a projection system, functioning as prohibiting, and functioning as educating.
