Instruction in Serbian language and literature serves to prepare and in a certain way enable the students to follow other school subjects, which points to its special relevance for total education. Unfortunately, research results indicate that students? knowledge in this field is not entirely satisfactory. One of the reasons maybe the fact that this knowledge is not sufficiently used in practice, which can have an unfavourable impact on students? response to more and more complex demands set by the education system of the 21st century. Additionally, the problem can also be related to the fact that dogmatic-reproductive and reproductive-explicative methodical approaches are still used in the classes of Serbian language and literature, while less attention is paid to creative work, cooperative learning and students? initiative, the competences that should be developed first and foremost during the initial education. This paper aims at pointing to the methods and procedures that contribute to the encouragement of initiative, cooperation and creativity in primary school students in the instruction in Serbian language and literature. Among other tings, we point out to the innovation of the drama method as an integral approach to teaching contents, which serves to adopt more quality knowledge via focused role-playing activities and drama techniques, primarily in the field of literature, and enables the durability and quality of the aesthetic perception and the reception of literature. It is also pointed to the fact that instruction that includes creative work, initiative and cooperative relations enhances student competences not only in knowledge and skills in Serbian language and literature, but also at the level of emotional and social relations between students.

The article deals with the problem of aesthetic education of senior school students, which provides the development of creatively active personality, who can fully perceive the beautiful, harmonious and perfect in the environment. Therefore, modern school channels its efforts to ensure the aesthetic education of the pupils, creating pedagogical conditions that enhance aesthetic education of the learners. Since ancient times, aesthetic education has occupied a prominent place in the process of shaping personal and cultural identity. The ability to feel, perceive, understand, realize, and create beautiful things are specific manifestations of spiritual and cultural maturity of a person whose aesthetic perception and sense is shaped and developed throughout the life. One of the ways to enhance the development of aesthetic values and perception is through engaging learners in extracurricular activities. The latter enable students to expand cultural horizons and world view as well as enhance creative thinking. Extracurricular work deepens sociocultural knowledge as well as adds to the FL communication skills of the learners. Pupils who have failed, for various reasons, to realize their creative potential in the classroom, can do when engaged in extracurricular work due to the atmosphere of trust, mutual understanding, cooperation and mutual created. The authors offer a practical guide to an extracurricular activity in English for senior schoolers. The purpose of this activity is to improve pupils’ communication skills, enhance aesthetic sensitivity and motivation for learning a foreign language.

Independently of causes and risk factors of hypoglycaemia, its manifestations are always unfavourable and evoke fear and other negative emotions that lead to negative consequences connected with quality of diabetes control. The fear of hypoglycaemia creates an internal conflict by diminishing patients? motivation to adhere to intensive treatment regimes. In addition to the severity of hypoglycaemia and its negative consequences, quality of life is one of the main criteria for evaluating the physical, psychological and social components of patient's life as a whole. Fear of hypoglycaemia is one of the most important factors; it either directly or indirectly affects quality of life and influences all aspects of the patient's life. Fear of hypoglycaemia is also a source of anxiety for the patient's relatives, causing damage to their familial and social relations. The negative consequences of hypoglycaemia can affect the relationship between spouses, as well as between parents and children with type 1 diabetes. The qualitative and quantitative data demonstrate that non-severe nocturnal hypoglycaemia causes more anxiety and fear in patients than daytime hypoglycaemia does. To quantify the fear of hypoglycaemia in adults with type 1 diabetes, the hypoglycaemia fear scale (HFS) was developed and still is the most commonly used instrument. To assess the fear of hypoglycaemia in children and their parents, the HFS scale was adapted to be used in the paediatric population: HFS for parents (PHFS) and HFS for children (CHFS). From a clinical point of view, these scales for measuring the level of fear of hypoglycaemia may be useful for monitoring adult patients and families who may need additional support, training or assistance in dealing with issues related to hypoglycaemia. The methods for regulating the fear of hypoglycaemia range from behavioural to pharmaceutical and surgical ones, and include a broad range of activities. Nevertheless, the problem remains quite relevant today and an integral approach for solving this problem, both by the physician and by the patient, should be used. Proper assessment of the patient's level of anxiety, impact of the fear of hypoglycaemia on his or her social life, awareness of the possible psychological consequences of this problem may positively affect both the behaviour and mood of the patient, and the opportunity to achieve better glycaemic control.

Biotechnology is known as the set of processes and techniques that involves the manipulation of living beings, resulting in the production of a series of products useful to humanity. Virology is a science that studies viruses, sub-viral particles and prions and has enjoyed the benefits of biotechnology. However, although there is an increase and improvement in the productivity of goods and services including this area, the harmful potential of the virus is still highlighted, which favors the construction of negative conceptions that may make it difficult to learn subjects related to these beings or about Content in science, such as biotechnology. The theme Biotechnology and virology in high school is addressed, throughout the different series / years, in disciplinary contents that have a direct influence with the students' daily life and that, if well understood, can contribute to the improvement of their quality of life. Considering that students have knowledge prior to formal education and that such conceptions may become obstacles to the acquisition of new knowledge, this work sought to elucidate, through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire, the knowledge that high school students of a school State of São Gonçalo (RJ) have on topics related to biotechnology and virology. The results showed that students use a lot of information acquired in formal education, in the media and in social relations on the subject evaluated. It was evidenced a predominance of previous conceptions and little knowledge about the viruses and the biotechnological context present in our daily life through the use of products and services

The quality of a lit environment cannot be deduced solely from the quantity of light. Therefore, daylighting studies should not only be focused on the usage of lighting metrics but should also consider the aesthetic experience. This paper examines the influence of daylighting systems on the aesthetic perception of a small office. One single side lit office was equipped with four different daylighting systems (white blinds, high-reflecting blinds, hybrid light shelf and mirror light shelf) under two sky conditions (clear sky and overcast sky). In total, eight stimuli were captured and presented via stereoscopic images. Fifty participants evaluated the images using the semantic differential scale to rate nine architectural quality attributes. The results from MANOVA indicated that both the daylighting systems and the type of sky had an effect on the aesthetic attributes, and that the significant interaction effect suggested that the aesthetic perception of a daylighting system depends on the type of sky. Subsequent statistical findings showed that the high-reflecting blinds comprised the daylighting system that scored highest in nearly all attributes under both clear and overcast sky conditions.

The aim of this study was to analyze and interprete the previews studies about modification of implementation of group guidance service. The researcher was conducted this study using qualitative approach which involved case study’s strategy. According to those post graduate student’s findings, the researcher intended to find: (1) what were modifications that done, (2) how were they happened, (3) why were they happened, (4) how were the results, (5) how were the effectively of its effects, (6) how were the possibilities of its implementation in the future.  The findings of this study were the average score results of implementation of group guidance with modification has better score than the avarage score results in implementation of group guidance service without modification, Suggestion in developing learning discipline, Bibliotherapy in enhacing self-concept. Suggestion in developing learning discipline, Bibliotherapy in enhacing self-concept, Modifications in this study was conducted by Role Playing to improve self-adaptation, Verse of Holy Al-Qur’an to improve learning motivation, Audio Visual Media to improve self concept, Assertive Training to improve interpersonal communication, REBT eliminates affraid, Modeling to improve Self Efficacy, Reality Counseling to develop self-adaptation. Regarding to this, it is hope for Guidance and Counseling teachers/ Counselors to improve the quality of service with implementation of group guidance service through several modifications.

The aspiration to keep the synergy in relations between majorities and minorities repeatedly emerges as the cause of conflicts in social relations. It is also a subject of the interest of the multicultural education, particularly in countries of Eastern Europe, building contacts with the culturally and ethnically diverse groups to a wider scale. Relations in culturally, religiously and ethnic diverse societies, are becoming more and more related to the personal attitudes and a given policy. These issues acquire in the prison circumstances even greater significance, as given moods and personal attitudes of the prison staff create the pragmatic aspects of the professional activities addressed to the sentenced. Additionally, the key role is played by the quality of the penitentiary policy and the legal culture. The article presents the comparative analysis of the research carried out in 2016 amongst the prison staff in Poland. The subject of the research concerned attitudes that influence the decisive processes. The personal relations have been analyzed in the context of the relation with the sentenced Muslims. The aim of the research was not only to reveal the quality of the decisions concerning the sentenced Muslims, but also the sources of such decisions. The latter, in consequence, may shift, as the research results prove, towards synergy or discrimination. The diversification of the discrimination was one of the intriguing aspects, disclosed at various levels that not always explicitly concerned the discrimination of the minority.

Background: stroke is a disorder of nervous system function that occurs suddenly and is caused by brain bleeding disorders that can affect the quality of life physical dimensions, social dimensions, psychological dimensions, environmental dimensions. Based on the result of Lumbu study (2015) the number of samples were 71 people collected data using the (WHOQOL-BREF). There were 56 people (78,9%) had the poor quality of life of post stroke. The mean of post-stroke quality of life domain was physical domain (45,27%), psychological domain (49,87%), social relations domain (48,15%) and environmental domain (50.01%). Objective: the purpose of the study was know the quality of life of the stroke patients in Outpatient Polyclinic of Private Hospital in Yogyakarta. Methods: used descriptive quantitative by using questionnaire test of purposive sampling system based on patients who have been affected of ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke before, number 30 respondents. Result: quality of life of stroke patient of medium physical dimension (67%), psychological dimension (71%), social dimension (67%), dimension good environment (63%). Conclusion: the quality of life of stroke patients of physical dimension, psychological dimension, and moderate social dimension, while the quality of life of stroke patients were good environmental dimension.   Keywords: Hemorrhagic stroke, ischemic stroke, quality of life

It seems that educational system in Nigeria has undergone only quantitative improvement in terms of number of schools and students’ enrolment. However, there has been little effort in respect to the capacity to manage them through provisions of adequate financial, human, material and physical resources. Physical and material resources in secondary schools were discovered to be inadequate and poorly equipped. Some of the secondary school buildings were dilapidated, also the allocated financial resource, teaching and non-teaching staff are grossly inadequate compared with the students’ enrolment. The public, the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders in education are expressing serious concern about the consistency of the poor performance of secondary school students especially in mathematics. Increase in population and the government’s free education programs make people want to take advantage of the education provided. Provision of both professionally qualified and non-qualified teachers by government and non-state providers of education also appear not to ameliorate the problem of declining performances in mathematics. The effect of all these on the public secondary school student academic performance in mathematics concern the researchers of this study. It is against this background that the study sought to empirically investigates effect of resource factors and quality of instruction on performance in mathematics of Nigeria secondary school students.
