The number of librarians at the study site (called the University A) from time to time on the wane since pension. In the university A, some years ago, the number of librarians 32 people, however currently the number decreased to 25 people, and in the next 5 years the number will become 20. The purpose of this study was to determine the interest of staff (non librarian) to become a librarian which will lead to the longer time to work before retirement. The respondents with Bachelor Degree 43. This research used survey with quantitative approach and statistical analysis using Product Moment Correlation. The results showed that staff, who were not interested in becoming a librarian, were 24 (55.81%), neutral 12 (27.91%), interest expression 4 (9.30%), and abstein 3 (6.97%). The correlation level of significance of variabel X1 (functional librarian) with variabel X2 (longer age of retirement) was 0.101 > 0.05 (0.101 greater than 0.05), which means there was no significant correlation. The correlation between variabels X1 (functional librarian) with a variabel Y (motivation to be a librarian) 0.014 significance value of <0.05 (0.014 less than 0.05), which means there was no significant correlation. The correlation between variabels X2 (longer age of retirement) with variabel Y (motivation to be a librarian) 0.003 with significance value of <0.05 (0.003 less than 0.05), which means there is no significant correlation.  The magnitude of the relationship between the variabels of functional of librarian librarian and the motivation showed 37.2%, while for the variabel of longer age of retirement showed 44.10%.

A statistical analysis of responses to a LibQUAL+™ survey at the University of Colorado at Boulder (UCB) was conducted to investigate factors related to patrons’ satisfaction with electronic collections. It was found that a respondent’s discipline was not related to his or her satisfaction with the Libraries’ electronic collection, nor was the frequency with which the respondent used the Libraries’ facilities or used commercial search engines. The factors significantly related to users’ satisfaction with electronic collections were the frequency with which they used the Libraries’ Web site, and, most interestingly, the physical library they most often visited.

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and organizational climate on the performance of lecturers at Batanghari University, Jambi. This study uses a quantitative approach with the form of correlational research which explains the relationship of each independent variable with the dependent variable, either individually or collectively, and makes predictions for the dependent variable on each independent variable. With the regression equation Y = 3,120 + 0.453 X1 + 0.494 X2 + 0.010 X3 From the above equation, it can be seen that if the leadership style can be more effective by one unit, the lecturer performance will increase by 0.453; Likewise with the organizational climate, if the organizational climate is better by one unit, the lecturer's performance will increase by 0.494, something that is not much different from motivation, namely if the motivation is increased by one unit, the performance will increase by 0.010. This means that leadership style, organizational climate and motivation have a positive correlation with lecturer performance. Therefore, it is expected that these three components (X1, X2 and X3) can be optimally improved. The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing show that the value of F count is 33.110 at the level of freedom of 95 and α = 5% greater than F table 2.02439. or sig F 0.000 <0.05, this means that simultaneously or collectively, leadership style, organizational climate and motivation have a significant effect on lecturer performance at the University of Batanghari Jambi.

AbstractIntroduction:this study is part of a larger work, which involves increasing sporting performance by applying mental training techniques - special techniques of neurolinguistic programming. In this case we will discuss some aspects of the test application Jacobson S. (2011).Purpose of study and hypothesis:In neurolinguistic programming (NLP) we have studied the relationship between sensory submodalities, in accordance with the Jacobson test (2011). We wanted to check the degree of significance of the mean difference parameters studied and if the materiality result falls within the objective parameters. If ideomotor representations of athletes are completed with multiple sensations of all sensory submodalities such as visual, auditory, kinesthetic, olfactory and gustatory, the possibility of applying the techniques of NLP (neurolinguistic programming) will have more effective results. Methods and material:two records were made by using two tests, test1 and test2 on master students of the University “Babes-Bolyai” Cluj-Napoca, from FEFS from APS department (training and sports performance). The statistical indicators were calculated on elements of descriptive statistics and the data is presented using indicators of centrality, location and distribution. Statistical analysis of non-parametric Wilcoxon test was used for sample pairs (data uneven distribution/rank). Materiality tests used was α=0.05 (5%), α=0.01 (1%) or α=0.001.Results and deliberations:to detect the correlation between the two variables we used the Spearman rank correlation coefficient (ρ). Statistical analysis was performed using the correlation coefficients Colton’s rule. It was found that no statistically significant differences were observed (p>0.05) in the statistical analysis of sample pairs Jacobson test values (times T1-T2). This is a result of the short timeframe - just one month - for objectives reasons. However, many of them appear in a good and a very good correlation to both tests, between the values of the items studied. Conclusions and recommendations:we want to continue with this study because the time difference between T1 and T2 was very small and we want to extend this study to a minimum of three months. All sensory submodalities are particularly important in achievingideomotor representations underlying mental training.

Satisfaction is a state felt by a person who has experienced performance or an outcome that fulfill his or her expectation and service quality is an important parameter of educational excellence. This study attempts to examine the relationship between service quality dimensions (tangibility, responsiveness, reliability, assurance and empathy) and students’ satisfaction. The results exhibit that there is a significant correlation among all the constructs with student satisfaction at 1% level of significance. The results also depict that the tangibles factor is the most important factor which includes a group of statements related to the environment and facilities provided by the university. Therefore, this paper will be helpful for institutions in order to enhance the quality of educational services.

Research into investigation of the relationship between multiple intelligences of learners and academic performance is germane. This study investigated relationship between multiple intelligences of higher degree students and academic performance. Two research questions and three hypotheses guided the correlational study. Three hundred and thirty Master degree students of the University of Ibadan who are randomly selected made the sample. Three validated instruments: Simple Multiple Intelligence Inventory developed by Gardner (r=0.89), Modified MILHDSQ (r=0.87) and the CGPA of students result for the two semesters was used to collect data that was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics at 0.05 level of significance. The result reveals a very high level of multiple intelligences in the overall mean of 4.34. Students demonstrated very much high intelligence in Logical-mathematical (Xw=4.82), interpersonal (Xw=4.57) and visual (Xw=4.53). Both logical (8.143<0.05) and intrapersonal (19.252<0.05) intelligences are related to academic performance. Moreover, academic performance has high correlation with Logical (0.72) and Linguistic (0.61). This shows a positive correlation between multiple intelligences and academic performance. The result provided opportunity for lecturers’ awareness to observe level of multiple intelligences of students for better guidance to improve academic performance. It is recommended that teaching strategies that will accommodate multiple intelligences be designed by education stakeholders.

A critical quantitative approach, this study connected the relationship between women professional fundraisers and women major gift prospects to assess whether their gender congruence related to an increased likelihood of particular philanthropic behaviors. Quantitative data made up of 27 years of completed gift proposal data reported by the University of Missouri--Columbia were evaluated through the lens of relationship management theory informed by distinctiveness theory. The inquiry assessed three philanthropic behaviors including proposal acceptance rate, repeated giving, and donation amount. The findings indicated: 1) women major gift prospects were more likely to accept funding proposals when cultivated by women professional fundraisers, 2) women major gift donors contributed more average dollars when solicited by women professional fundraisers, and 3) women major gift donors were more likely to make subsequent gifts following their correspondence with women professional fundraisers. These findings suggest that critical fundraising outcomes such as proposal acceptance, donation amounts, and donor retention may all be improved among the growing woman donor population by coordination of their cultivation through women professional fundraisers. The study also found that women fundraisers raised less money overall than their men counterparts, interpreted as a symptom of women's underrepresentation in charitable organizational leadership, but women fundraisers raise more money than men from women donors.
