This paper attends to study Windows Server and SQL Server to form a combination of the two operating systems to establish an online learning platform. The platform basically completed the user needs to achieve functional, but also focuses on the application of Ajax technology, the use of this technology at the user level can be completed without page refresh can be achieved through video effects, the data layer, it reduces the data access to the database pressure, improve the overall performance of the overall learning platform, the results show that the techniques of this paper can be used in a very good application and online learning platform.

Electronic Learning (E-Learning) has been widely used as a complement to the traditional learning method. It includes the introduction of blended learning (BL) that fully utilises the use of Learning Management System (LMS). The aim of this study is to examine students’ acceptance of blended learning specifically with the use of Openlearning (OL) as an online learning platform to complement traditional teaching. 137 students had participated in this study. OL was introduced to the Health Sciences students, who enrolled in the Principles of Nutrition course. Students explored teaching materials, videos, activities, and several assessments in OL while facilitated by facilitators for 14 weeks. A self-administered questionnaire was given via online to the participants to evaluate their attitudes and acceptance towards OL. Descriptive statistic was used to describe the demographic data and t-test was performed to report the level of acceptance. Overall results showed students were very satisfied with blended learning using OpenLearning as a web-based tool. Students accepted OL as it is easy to use and convenient. They also agreed that the usage of OL in teaching and learning will improve their academic performance. In conclusion, it is proven that Health Sciences students accepted the use of OL in blended learning.

The teaching-learning process, especially in higher education has always been a matter of great concern in developing countries as it makes the nation’s youth capable and is a mainstay towards its development. With the introduction of ICT, it has become even more important to change the learning methodology using the latest technologies like e-Learning, m-Learning, Cloud Computing etc., to match with the education standards of developed countries. This aim of this paper is to provide an insight about the use of e-Learning and cloud computing in HEIs. The paper also discusses the various cloud based adoption technologies used for HEIs and illustrates the comparative analysis of the web based and cloud based e-Learning system.

Ubiquitous online learning is continuing to expand, and the factors affecting success and educational sustainability need to be quantified. Procrastination is one of the compelling characteristics that students observe as a failure to achieve the weaker outcomes. Past studies have mainly assessed the behaviors of procrastination by describing explanatory work. Throughout this research, we concentrate on predictive measures to identify and forecast procrastinator students by using ensemble machine learning models (i.e., Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Gradient Boosting, and Forest). Our results indicate that the Gradient Boosting autotuned is a predictive champion model of high precision compared to the other default and hyper-parameterized tuned models in the pipeline. The accuracy we enumerated for the VALIDATION partition dataset is 91.77 percent, based on the Kolmogorov–Smirnov statistics. Additionally, our model allows teachers to monitor each procrastinator student who interacts with the web-based e-learning platform and take corrective action on the next day of the class. The earlier prediction of such procrastination behaviors would assist teachers in classifying students before completing the task, homework, or mastery of a skill, which is useful and a path to developing a sustainable atmosphere for education or education for sustainable development.

Web-based learning environments have become an integral part of learning. The way that they are employed in the learning process, or in other words the learning strategy followed in that respect, is an important issue that has to be carefully thought of, deciding upon topics such as suitable pedagogical approaches and appropriate assessment techniques for a given context. The chapter deals with this exact issue by visiting the relevant literature on the subject, describing selected learning strategies that have been employed in the use of an innovative eLearning platform in schools in Europe and finally outlining and comparing two real case studies from two European countries.
