This paper investigates the possible options for achieving a substantial reduction in a substation footprint using air-insulated switchgear as a more environmentally-friendly alternative to gas-insulated substations that use SF6 gas. Adopting a new approach to surge arrester location and numbers, International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) minimum clearances can be successfully selected instead of the maximum clearances as currently adopted by many utilities, as is the case in the UK. In addition, innovative alternative compact busbar arrangements using vertical and delta configurations have been proposed by the authors. A further opportunity for compaction is offered by the application of compact and integrated technology offered from several manufacturers. The full overvoltage control within the entire substation under any surge condition is a key aspect of the feasibility of this type of substation. This work demonstrates that the new design option can be an attractive alternative for future substation configuration with minimum footprint.

This article suggests a new concept of entrepreneurship based on a modern approach about competition between agribusiness entities and according to the area of their commercial activity. The importance of entrepreneurship measurement is grounded and the correctness of the methodology is proven. Creating a model that covers all aspects of entrepreneurship measurement was determined as the aim of this article. This article presents a real, innovative methodology for measuring entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector based on the modification of TOPSIS method. The method chosen was recognized as the most appropriate for determining the level of entrepreneurship, which is expressed by quantitative parameters. Using the modification of multicriteria TOPSIS method for measuring entrepreneurship in agricultural entities, 12 specific criteria were selected. The model has been tested in the livestock farms of Lithuania to include entrepreneurship as a criterion in assessing the potential of these farms and their readiness to apply sustainable and environmentally friendly activities to organic farming. The applicability of the model has been directly confirmed. The use of the model makes it possible to rank agricultural businesses in a given region according to their degree of entrepreneurship.

Batik is known not only for its beauty, but also for the values it contains. This potential is very inspiring and gives an idea visualized into batik storytelling using the cold method of tamarin paste, a new approach that is more environmentally friendly. This technique has also been tested both domestically and abroad and has great potential for opportunities batik development with new ideas. An opportunity to preserve batik novelty that have no potential harass to traditional batik. This study applies the discussion of visual language to folklore theme batik works. In the earlier times, speech was common culture carried by elders to their children or grandchildren. Folktales in the form of legends, myths and fables are moral messages way conveyed in a friendly, fun but also educating with devotion. The theories and methods used to discuss two batik samples are taken from folklore which contains educational moral values. Based on a study of selected samples of batik works, it is known that the images or shapes on batik use the Space Time Flat (RWD) and Naturalist Perspective Moment Opname (NPM) systems simultaneously. Most of the depictions of motifs and shapes in batik still use the RWD system, although some forms also use NPM.

By a environmentally friendly method with the control of anionic amino acid surfactant N-lauroylsarcosine sodium (Sar-Na), hydroxyapatite (HAP) nanoplates were synthesized and the adsorption behavior of bovine serum albumin (BSA) were carefully studied. The products were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Results showed that hydroxyapatite nanocrystals with lengths of 100 nm, a width of 10 nm and a high aspect ratio (10:1) were obtained. Results of UV-Vis spectrum indicate that prepared hydroxyapatite nanoplates can be effectively adsorbed BSA. The current work provides a new approach to produce biomaterials.

AbstractA widely used tool in studying quasi-monoperiodic processes is the O–C diagram. This paper deals with the application of this diagram in minor planet studies. The main difference between our approach and the classical O–C diagram is that we transform the epoch (=time) dependence into the geocentric longitude domain. We outline a rotation modelling using this modified O–C and illustrate the abilities with detailed error analysis. The primary assumption, that the monotonity and the shape of this diagram is (almost) independent of the geometry of the asteroids is discussed and tested. The monotonity enables an unambiguous distinction between the prograde and retrograde rotation, thus the four-fold (or in some cases the two-fold) ambiguities can be avoided. This turned out to be the main advantage of the O–C examination. As an extension to the theoretical work, we present some preliminary results on 1727 Mette based on new CCD observations.
