Family is the basic cell of society, and the first school in life. No matter how great the times change, no matter how big the change of life pattern is, we should all attach importance to family building. Parents’ educational ideas, educational methods and family environment are the important factors affecting college students’ happiness. The Red Boat spirit is the source of the Chinese revolutionary spirit and the source of the advancement of the Chinese Communist Party. Its connotation reflects the CCP’s spirit of party building, the cultural label that indicates the initial heart and mission of CCP, and represents the core value requirement of our party. The spirit of the Red Boat has a deep connection with the teaching content of The Outline of Chinese Modern History. Teachers should enrich the teaching forms and encourage students to be thoughtful. In this way, college students can truly feel the role of the Red Boat spirit in promoting the development of modern Chinese history and understand the relationship between the Red Boat spirit and their own growth, which is of positive significance for the cultivation of contemporary college students’ historical views, the shaping of political views and the promotion of Red Boat spirit in the new era.

This paper aims to describe the role of parents as educators to their children in the midst of the corona virus outbreak in the family environment. This paper uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The background of this paper is because many parents do not know their obligation to provide education to their children, especially in the family. Education in schools has apparently not been able to fully educate students, especially in the fields of religion and morals, this is evident by many students who do not understand religion, reading the Qur'an, are also increasingly widespread juvenile delinquency, ranging from fights, drugs and so forth. The purpose of education in the family is so that children are able to develop optimally both physically, spiritually, and intellectually. The role of parents in the education process is to use all means or methods such as examples, advice, story, or punishment. As college students are the main force in the building of our country, we should highlight every profession for college students, and enhance the teaching effect of every class. That said, it will make direct impact on the morality of society in the new era. With the more prominent tendency of economic globalization and the rapid development of Internet, the culture of our country has been effected by the Western culture to some extent. Faced with this tendency, the Ministry of Education in our country has put forward the new requirement for the construction of "double world class". Foreign language study is one of the core lectures in the Technician Training School. We should adhere to the role of guidance of ideology and politics and speed up the building process of top-class profession. That is how we can upgrade the teaching of foreign language in college.

Research has garnered support for a systemic view of factors affecting child dental caries that accounts for the influence of social factors such as the family environment. Our previous work has demonstrated the association between mother-to-father emotional aggression and child caries. The present study builds on these results by evaluating pathways that might explain this relation. Families (n = 135) completed a multimethod assessment of mother-to-father emotional aggression, child caries, and several hypothesized mediators (i.e., child cariogenic snack and drink intake, child internalizing behaviors, child salivary cortisol and α-amylase reactivity, parental laxness, child oral hygiene maintenance, and parental socialization of child oral hygiene maintenance). Mediation analyses partially supported the role of the child's diet as a mechanism linking mother-to-father emotional aggression and child caries. However, children's neglect of oral hygiene, parental laxness, and child emotional and biological disturbances failed to stand as conduits for this association. Future investigations should expand upon these results to better establish the causal links that could only be suggested by the present cross-sectional findings.

The low interest of students choosing social studies majors (IPS) at the National High School is thought to be a problem that originates from within students and outside the student's self. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence students' interest in choosing a social studies major at SMA 2 Tambang, in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS, amounting to 170 people. The sample was determined using propotional random sampling to obtain 119 people. The data analysis technique used is Path Analysis. The results of the analysis show that the family environment and school environment have a positive and significant effect on the ideals of choosing an IPS major. School ideals and environment have a positive and significant effect on the interest in choosing an IPS major. While the family environment has a significant effect on the interest in choosing an IPS major. However, there is a negative influence of the family environment on the interest of students choosing social studies majors, due to the low level of family education. Therefore parents are expected to be able to provide support so that their children are more interested in choosing social studies majors. The school is expected to further improve socialization to add information and provide an overview to students about social studies majors.

As part of growing efforts to understand factors affecting c-test this study aims to investigate the effect of text authenticity on the performance of Iranian EFL students in a C-Test. The C-Test is an integrative testing instrument that measures overall language competence, very much like the cloze test. In this study the rule of two has been applied: “the second half of every second word has been deleted, beginning with the second word of the second sentence; the first and last sentences are left intact” (Katona and Dornyei 1993: 35). The research involves 60 college students in their third year, majoring in English Literature at Ershad-Damavand College. This group were randomly selected applying multi-stage sampling. Since the present study intended to investigate the role of two different formats, i.e. authentic and inauthentic texts (text translated from Persian into English), two different tailored C-Tests were made to measure and compare the performances of the participants. Two C-Tests, one with Authentic Text and the other, with Inauthentic Text were administered to this homogenized group comprising 30 subjects. The findings of this study suggest that authenticity has an effect on the performance of learners in c-tests and we should control this variable while devising a c-test.

Career education is started in kindergarten in western countries. On the contrary, in our country, only when we meet the career bottleneck can we start our own career planning. Therefore, on the basis of self exploration and career exploration, we should scientifically plan our own career development and reasonably position our career goals, these are of great importance to the interests, learning objectives, future career planning, lifelong learning outlook, outlook on life and values of undergraduate students in the new era.
