The article contains results of comparison of level of intellectual development and features of verbal association measurements of young schoolchildren in normal and schizophrenia conditions in response to stimuli of different modalities. There have been examined two selections: schizophrenic children and mentally healthy children (60 schizophrenic children and 60 mentally healthy children at the age from 7 to 11 y.o.). There have been used experimental-psychological author’s complex of methods to research verbal associations in response to stimuli of different modalities (olfactory, audio-verbal, visual, tactile), as well as battery of K-ABC tests. The research results are discussed in the context of particularity of cognitive deficiency and manifestation of cognitive dysontogenesis of young school schizophrenic children. The article contains description of various combinations of connection/ absence of connection between intelligence level (according to Kauffman’s battery of K –ABC tests) and various measurements of association activity (productiveness, temporary indications of activity, commonality coefficient). The principal research result is relative independence of particularity of association activity of schizophrenic children (according to commonality coefficient) of their cognitive development level.

The article is devoted to the actual problem of clinical psychology studies of cognitive dysontogenesis in schizophrenic conditions. Evaluation results of particularity of association activity and selectivity of thinking in normal and schizophrenic primary school age children are given. Two samples were examined: 60 schizophrenic children and 60 mentally healthy children at the age from 7 to 11 years old. Experimental psychological author’s complex of techniques for evaluation of verbal associations in response to stimuli of different modalities (olfactory, audio-verbal, visual, tactile) along with evaluation of thinking selectivity and cognitive development level were used. Present research results are discussed in relations with particularity of cognitive deficiency and manifestation of cognitive dysontogenesis in schizophrenic primary school age children. Connections between thinking selectivity disorder and particularities of association activity in different modalities of schizophrenic young schoolchildren are demonstrated. The key research result is following: thinking selectivity disorder in schizophrenia condition is also manifested in the association process of schizophrenic children and doesn’t depend on modality.

Chess playing has a significant role in participants’ resources allocation, both at a psychological level, but mostly concerning the cognitive resources. The aim of the present study was to examine the effect of chess playing on the intellectual development of primary-class students. 67 children were tested using the Raven Standard Progressive Matrices and were distributed in three different groups according to their experience with chess, namely: the control group (formed by students with no experience with chess playing), the beginners group (students with less than one year in chess playing training) and the advanced group (children with more than two years experience with chess). Results indicated that chess playing had a significant effect on the SPM performance, indicating that those in the advanced group performed significantly better than those in the control or in the beginners group. Conclusions of this study tap into the benefits of playing chess with a focus on the children’s’ cognitive development.

The paper analyzes the development level of the brand management at the banks operating on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The aim of the research was to establish to what extent certain elements of brand management are present and whether the brand management decisions are made based on the systematic or the ad hoc approach. The research results indicate that five banks in BiH have a very high level of brand management development. Making brand management related decisions for these banks is based on the systematic approach. It has been established that other banks in BiH have a lower level of brand management development and that for most banks in this group the process of making brand management decisions is characterized by the ad hoc approach.

Solid-state drive (SSD) with flash memory as the storage medium are being widely used in various data storage systems. SSD data compression means that data is compressed before it is written to Not-And (NAND) Flash. Data compression can reduce the amount of data written in NAND Flash and improve the performance and reliability of SSDs. At present, the main problem facing data compression of SSD is how to improve the efficiency of data compression and decompression. In order to improve the performance of data compression and decompression, this study proposes a method of SSD data deduplication based on zone division. First, this study divides the storage space of the SSD into zones and divides them into one hot zone and multiple cold zones according to the different erasing frequency. Second, the data in each zone is divided into hot data and cold data according to the number of erasures. At the same time, the address mapping table in the hot zone is loaded into the cache. Finally, when there is a write or read request, the SSD will selectively compress or decompress the data according to the type of different zones. Through simulation tests, the correctness and effectiveness of this study are verified. The research results show that the data compression rate of this research result can reach 70–95%. Compared with SSD without data compression, write amplification is reduced by 5 to 30%, and write latency is reduced by 5 to 25%. The research results have certain reference value for improving the performance and reliability of SSD.

Allergic rhinitis is a widespread allergic disease, with 35-40% prevalence in the world population. It is characterized with increasing frequency, particularly in children’s population. Aim:. Study of psycho-emotional profile in adolescents with allergic rhinitis of different severity. Materials and methods. Single-stage research was conducted, in compliance with the ethical norms. Study included 86 children (41% girls and 45% boys) of age from 11 to 13 years with allergic rhinitis of different severity and 30 healthy children. For the purpose of study of the patients’ psychological profile Esenek Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) intended for assessment of characterological and individual psychological features in children and adolescents (10-15 years) was used. Psycho-emotional sphere of the adolescents with allergic rhinitis was assessed also by Psychopathologic Symptom Checklist (Symptom Checklist-90-Revised-SCL-90-R). Clinical scale of self-assessment of psychical condition is widely applied in ambulatory and hospital practice. At the final stage of research the mathematical-statistical data processing was provided by means of SPSS/v12 software package. According to the research results, susceptibility to significant and mild introversion was identified in severe and average AR cases. Such patients are often locked into their inner world. These children are reserved, communicate with the parents and close friends only. They make decisions with care, love order, control their emotions, are pessimistic and rarely aggressive. Results of neuroticism study by G. Esenek techniques are provided in Table. Neuroticism is associated with the lability of nervous system, characterizes emotional condition or emotional lability (emotional stability or instability). Results of Symptom Checklist-90-Revised – SCL90R) are provided in the Table. Conclusion: according to the research results, allergic rhinitis is characterized with emotional instability, anxiety, as manifested by unsatisfactory adaptation, instable nature, depression, low resistance to the stress situations. Based on the conducted research, we regard that individual assessment of psychological profile of patients with allergic rhinitis would be reasonable, for the purpose of management optimization

The current study aimed to compare differences in the cognitive development of children with and without upper limb motor disorders. The study involved 89 children from 3 to 15 years old; 57 children with similar upper limb motor disorders and 32 healthy children. Our results showed that motor disorders could impair cognitive functions, especially memory. In particular, we found that children between 8 and 11 years old with upper limb disorders differed significantly from their healthy peers in both auditory and visual memory scales. These results can be explained by the fact that the development of cognitive functions depends on the normal development of motor skills, and the developmental delay of motor skills affects cognitive functions. Correlation analysis did not reveal any significant relationship between other cognitive functions (attention, thinking, intelligence) and motor function. Altogether, these findings point to the need to adapt general habilitation programs for children with motor disorders, considering the cognitive impairment during their development. The evaluation of children with motor impairment is often limited to their motor dysfunction, leaving their cognitive development neglected. The current study showed the importance of cognitive issues for these children. Moreover, early intervention, particularly focused on memory, can prevent some of the accompanying difficulties in learning and daily life functioning of children with movement disorders.
