Research on Thias (Thief Alarm Indication System) safety device of livestock in animal cages based on the Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) and the Arduino microcontroller has been done. This research aims to design and characterize an alarm system or test the success rate of the alarm system. This study can be used as an alarm when livestock theft is occurring. The method used in this research is divided into three stages, design, manufacture and testing. The working principle of this alarm system, when the laser beams hitch the LDR, then the high value of the resulting LDR then produces an alarm notification in the form of sound. The hitch here is a thief entering or exiting the cage. To control the performance of the alarm system use the Arduino microcontroller. Obtained results from this research is a prototype alarm system. From testing, this alarm system obtained a success rate of 100%. The advantages of this alarm system are cheap and simple.

Research on the Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) and the basic logic gates in the designing and manufacturing SiAlS (Simple Alarm System) as an attempt to Prevent theft helmet on had been done. This research was conducted aiming to create and Characterize alarm system. This study was intended to Prevent theft of the helmet. The method used in this research is divided into three stages, designing, manufacturing and testing. The working principle of this alarm system is when the helmet is mounted in the rearview mirror, the LDR will be closed so that the resistance increases the which causes the alarm to Become inactive. However, if the helmet is taken, the alarm will activate because The resistance decreases. However, the alarm will not work if the sensor cable is cut by the thief. To Overcome this problem, additional circuits are made using a NOT logic gates. The results of this research are prototypes in testing alarm systems and alarm systems get a 100% success rate. The advantage of this alarm systems are cheap and simple, Because it does not use a microcontroller and can be made individually.

ABSTRACT Objetive: to problematize the home care proposed by the Melhor em Casa Program as a safety device for understanding knowledge and conditions of possibility that support its discoursive network. Method: it is a study of genealogical inspiration about home care. The empirical material was constituted by legal documents about the theme, published in the Diário Oficial. The extracts that supposingly had the power to extract truth were organized in a spreadsheet. The analytic units were constructed, and instruments proposed by Foucault, such as power, biopolitics and device, were used for document analysis. Results: two analytic categories were elaborated: "From hospital to home", and "Home care: safety for the patient or for the State?". Conclusion: Home care, as a security device, proposes home as a safer and better place for the patient, who is close to the family, with no risk of hospital infection, cared by the health team, with the necessary technology.

Fuel shortage is a common problem in Indonesia. This prompted many cases of vehicle fuel theft. As a solution to this problem, an Arduino-based vehicle fuel theft detector system is implemented. Arduino-based vehicle fuel theft detector system is a prototype that uses Arduino UNO as a microcontroller, IComSat v1.1 SIM900 GSM/GPRS Shield to communicate with mobile phone, fuel level sensor as a volume detector, and push button as a detector to check whether the fuel tank’s lid is open or closed. The working principle of this system is to detect the state of the fuel tank lid. When the lid is open, the system will make a phone call. Then, the system will keep track of fuel volume. If there is a drastic decrease in volume, the system will send information about the decreasing volume in the form of a short message to the owner of the vehicle. The success rate of the communication system between Arduino UNO and other electronic devices is 100%. Accuracy of fuel level sensor is 90%. Success rate of push button switch in detecting the state of fuel tank’s lid is 100%. Success rate of GSM Shield communication is 90%.

In recent years, the car alarm system has been continuously improve and development,make the whole system which is complex and difficult to see clearly to clear and intuitive anti-theft system test bench,and then do research and experiment teaching, this is a good way to study. This article makes the car alarm system into a test bench, using network interconnection, microcomputer control, serial port communication and TCP/IP, intuitive shows its composition and working principle, provides the basis for teaching and research. In the study, crack the anti-theft system control problems, achieve the remote control, provide a great convenience for teaching research and teaching, etc.

The working principle of lock ring synchronizer was expounded and the synchronous working process of automatic mechanical transmission (AMT) at each stage was analyzed in this paper. Based on the control principle of discrete PID, the corresponding control strategy to three stages was proposed. Then, the degree of jerk when starting of motor vehicle was used as an evaluation criterion. Finally, the bench tests were carried out to verify the feasibility of the proposed control strategy. The experimental results indicate that the control strategy can ensure the demand of jerk, meet the limited synchronous time, improve the smoothness and comfort of gear shift, reduce the wear of the synchronizing ring and increase the lifetime of synchronizer.


This paper presents an enhanced methodology in implementing and designing a security system for door locking purpose based on fingerprint, GSM technology, monitoring camera, alarm system and password system. This security system will provide enough security by limiting unauthorized people access and taking a record of those who pass through it. Sometimes unauthorized people or burglars try to break the door for evil intentions at a time when no one is available at a targeted place, so this paper introduces some security solutions for that problem and they are the main contribution of our paper. We introduce an alarm system to alert the people at the surroundings, GSM module that’s used to send an SMS message to the registered user’s (responsible person) and a web camera that’s used to take a video for a person who tries to break the lock, password keypad that’s used after fingerprint sensing to provide extra security. Definitely the registered users are the only persons who can access the lock, and the door closes after five seconds from the opening time. The method used to implement this experiment involves the use of a fingerprint scanner R305 that’s interfaced with Arduino microcontroller-ATMEGA328P to control the locking and unlocking process of a door. During all the opening and closing processes, the16x2 Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) displays some commands which can be used to instruct the users like, place your finger on the sensor, the door is opened, the door is closed, the message is sent, please enter the password etc. If an unregistered user tries to access the door using their fingerprints, automatically his/her access is denied. The proposed door lock security system is can be used at homes, offices, banks, hospitals, and in other governmental and private sectors. Our proposed system was tested in real-time and has shown competitive results compared to other projects using RFI and password.

Produced heat from motorcycle exhaust has been used to recharge cellphone batteries using a thermoelectric seebeck generator and program settings from the Arduino microcontroller. This tool consists of an LM 35 sensor that functions as a temperature reader, TEG as a heat converter to voltage, DC to DC Booster as a voltage controller, Arduino Uno as a data processor, LCD as a display. The software in this tool uses the Arduino IDE program. This tool is used to convert heat into voltage. The working principle of this system in general is that when the exhaust heat is removed, the controller will read the data from the LM 35 temperature sensor. After that the data will be processed by the microcontroller. After obtaining the processed data, the result data is then displayed on the LCD and the relay circuit will activate the system when the required voltage is appropriate

This paper introduces the working principle, hardware and software designs of ultrasonic distance measurement based on STC89C52RD MCU. The hardware mainly consists of ultrasonic module, liquid crystal display module, alarm module and function key circuit. The system can clearly display the measurement results with high accuracy and can be applied to auto reverse anti-collision alarm system.

Working principle, characteristic and common types of plot seeder at the present time are shown. The trends of plot seeder from 4 aspects, including structure and types, application, research, manufacturers, show development of plot seeder is benign and China will make important contribution in the application for plot seeder development.
