The notion of the formless found a lasting definition in Documents, the dissident Surrealist magazine led by Georges Bataille, Carl Einstein and Michel Leiris from 1929 to 1931.  In an unassuming short entry for its ‘Dictionnaire’, Bataille presents the informe emphatically not as a system or a structure, but as ‘un terme servant à déclasser’; yet neither the disruptive impulse of the 'Dictionnaire', nor the more recent exhibitions it has generated, can avoid a measure of taxonomic organisation (L'Informe: mode d'emploi, 1996; Undercover Surrealism, 2006). In the realm of poetry, free verse has eroded the boundaries of the poetic, but its freedom from formal constraints is limited too; as Jay Parini (2008) contends, ‘formless poetry does not really exist, as poets inevitably create patterns in language that replicate forms of experience.’  Through  a small number of case studies, this chapter will consider the legacy of Bataille’s definition while assessing the ongoing tension between form and its undoing in textual and visual art of the twenty-first century.

O esforço deste texto é o de trazer o trabalho de Michel Leiris (1901-1990), Le sacré dans la vie quotidienne, conferência dada por ele em janeiro de 1938 e publicada em julho do mesmo ano em uma separata da Nouvelle Revue Française, para dentro da experiência que o gestou: a do Collège de Sociologie, associação de caráter experimental formada pelo autor com Georges Bataille (1897-1962) e Roger Caillois (1913-1978) entre 1937 e 1939. O Collège, que tinha como centro de sua proposta realizar estudos sobre a noção antropológica de sagrado, mas também fazer dessa idéia um instrumento político de crítica e ação social, foi uma experiência efêmera mas não menos significativa na trajetória de Leiris.Trata-se, então, de enfatizar a dimensão política deste e de outros trabalhos de Leiris, pouco conhecida e problematizada pela fortuna crítica do autor.

O presente artigo tem como objetivo elucidar os usos e sentidos da noção de sagrado nas formulações teóricas e nas trajetórias intelectuais de Georges Bataille (1897-1962) e Michel Leiris (1901-1990) na Paris dos anos 1930. Em meio às diversas experiências estético-políticas da época, que questionavam as possíveis formas da ação política tendo em vista sua ligação com a arte, destaca-se a proposta do Collège de Sociologie (1937-1939), associação animada pelos autores junto a Roger Caillois (1913-1978). O grupo toma o sagrado em dupla articulação: ao mesmo tempo que conceito descritivo, ele passa a ser entendido também como um operador político. Tal ideia é o ponto de partida para as reflexões conjugadas e ao mesmo tempo originais de Bataille e Leiris.

مما لاشك فيه ان الفن معرفة ويحوي مجموعة منظومات معرفية بحته ولأنه معرفه فهو محكوم بأحكامها ، ونتفق ان المعرفة تنتج رؤى متنوعة مستمرة لا يمكن ايقافها ما دامت الحياة متواصلة ، هذا من جهة ومن جهة اخرى المعرفة بتراكمها وتطورها وتناميها حققت الاختلاف وهذا الاختلاف ضرورة وفية يتشكل (الجدل الديالكتيك ) ان نؤمن وازاء كل ذلك فان الفن ثقافة معرفية تداولية كما هي  ( الثقافة ) * و مما تقدم نجد ان الثقافة تمثل مجموعة من المعلومات التي نؤمن بها كونها صحيحة ومفيدة ومنتجه او نؤمن انها معلومات تحقق الاضافة لعقولنا التي نقيس بها في كل ظواهر الوجود ، ولان الفن معرفة فهو مصدر للثقافة وتصديرها بلغة خاصة بأدوات والية خاصة به وهو ضمن دائرة  العصف الذهني او ( العقل الناقد أو التفكير الناقد) ** كما يسميه التربويون حقيقة تاريخ الفن انه ثقافة تقريرية اعلامية بدأت مع الدويلات والامبراطوريات ، فعندما تدخل اوروك واشور فان الفن المنحوت والمرسومة على جدران المدينة وازقتها يقدم لك اعلاما وتأثيرا لا يخلو من قراءه للسيكولوجية لدى المتلقي وهكذا كان التصدير الثقافة في الفن مرتبط بالدين عن طريق المعبد والكنيسة والمسجد على الرغم من ان لكل فئة التزاماتها كما نجده في رفض التشخيص ، وخصوصيات هذا الرفض أصبح متغيرا مع الحداثة وما بعدها عندما بدأت ثقافة الاختلاف تقدم روحية الحداثة وما بعدها على نحو واسع الامر الذي اشتغله به التكعيبية والسريالية والتجريدية والتعبيرية التجريدية وفن الجسد وفن التجميع وفن الشارع . ان الثقافة " منطلق لا يمكن اسره في المكان والزمان وبذلك فان  ( المثاقفة )* التي تشكل تداخل في الثقافات بين الشعوب وتداخل وتفاعل بين ثقافات الشعوب نجدها قد اخذت مأخذا ارتبطت على نحو واسع بما نسميه بالعولمة التي تحركه بدعوات المثاقفة وانتقال ثقافات معينة الى شعوب اخرى اصطبغت بها وازاحت في احيانا كثر في ثقافاتها القديمة وحتى الحديثة لتتشكل ثقافة عالمية واحده عولمية اعتمدت ادوات التواصل التكنلوجية حتى ان قرن الواحد والعشرين سمي بقرن الانترنت وتتمظهر هنا اشكالية بين الاصالة والتأصيل والهوية وبين الثقافة الحداثوية وما بعدها المتجسدة في العولمة " .( [i]) وعليه فأن الفن ظاهرة حياتية تتفاعل وتتأثر بأي متغير حياتي ولا سيما يوصف المتأخر من عصرنا بعصر  استراتيجيات الوعي التي تشكل الانتماء ومن ثم يتشكل مفهوم الفن فيه ، تمثل " مواقف متناقضة متباينة في علاقة الفن بالسوق وتداولاته المتنوعة ، وهذه الاستراتيجيات تتصارع بين منطقتين على الرغم من ان لكل منطقة اختلاف في جزئياتها او مكوناتها ، المنطقة الأولى تتمثل في الاستراتيجيات المنبثقة من رؤى فلسفية ذات بعد ميتافيزيقي و وجودي ، والمنطقة الثانية تتمثل في رؤى برجماتية متجددة الى مستوى اوليات الثقافة بوصفها تداولية فن التشكيل فهي محكومة بمجموعة من الصراعات الفكرية الفلسفية اولاً ، والواقعية الموضوعية ثانياً ولهذا فأن المكان والزمان بظرفيهما يشكلان صورة هذا التداول لفن الشكل والصورة واللون ، فهو ثقافة في بعضها مؤدلجة بمرجعيات فلسفية وميثولوجييه ، وبعضها الاخر ثقافة تعتمد الجسد العاري." ( [ii]) ان تحليل مظاهر الحب والجنس بما يحملان من معان ومدلولات وفقا لتأرجحهما ما بين عشق الروح ولذة الجسد . وقد اخذنا امثلة من التراث الفني العالمي , امثلة تتفارق في اشكال التعبير تبعا لاختلاف الحضارات وفلسفتها . كما تم الاستعانة بالمراجع والاعمال المتفق على قيمتها الفنية , مكتفين بتحليل المضامين الجالية فقط, علنا تمكنا من استنتاج خصوصيات لفنوننا المحلية في مجال التعبير عن العواطف والانفعالات الجياشة . لم يكن ذلك ممكنا الا بعد التنقيب في الموروث الثقافي الفني وبعد القياس بالمقارنة مع فنون الغرب بشكل خاص . لن نستطيع عرض كل الاعمال الفنية التي ارتكزنا عليها في البحث , وقد نختار احيانا اعمالا معجونة بالعواطف الجنسية او بالعاطفة المجردة دون ان يكون هنالك صور لنشاط جنسي او لأي عنصر ايروتيكي بشكل مباشر والعكس صحيح ايضا " .( [iii])   * - كلمة الثقافة استعملت في اوسع المعاني واضيقها في ان واحد . فهي تعني في اوسع معانيها صميم الانسان نفسه .ومعنى ذلك ان الثقافة داخلة في كل ما يتصل بالإنسان فكريا واخلاقيا وبدنيا حتى تدريبه النفسي ، وفي هذا المعنى الواسع جدا تشمل كل ما يقوم به الانسان من جهود ، غير ان الثقافة هي على وجه التحديد ما يجعل الانسان مختلفا عما سواه من الحيوان .أنظر : حسين، مؤنس، الحضارة،(دراسة في اصول وعوامل قيامها وتطورها )،ط2، المجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب ، الكويت،1998, ص 377 . ** - تفكير تأملي معقول يركز على ما يعتقد به الفرد أو يقوم بأدائه "، وهو فحص وتقويم الحلول المعروضة من أجل إصدار حكم حول قيمة الشيء: ينظر : عبدالحميد شطة ، التفكير الناقد وعلاقته بالتوافق الدراسي، الجزائر: جامعة قاصدي مرباح ورقلة، (2015) ,صفحة 25،26،28،29. * - المثاقفة لا تعني فقط ذلك السلب من النصوص بل ان في فكرة المثاقفة نوعاً من التلاقح الايجابي الذي يمكن ان يكون للنحت العاري دوراً مهم من ادوارهِ , الا ان الامر نجدهُ في مجالاتٍ يشوبها الندرة والقلة تحتاج الى بحث وكشف , ومن هذه المجالات الفنون , وفنون التشكيل , ولاسيما النحت العاري . ينظر : [3]  إدوارد الخراط، من الصمت إلى التمرد، دراسات ومحاورات في الأدب العالمي، سلسلة كتابات نقدية من إصدار الهيئة العامة لقصور الثقافة، وزارة الثقافة المصرية 1994، ص: 360 [i] - حسين ، مؤنس، الحضارة،(دراسة في اصول وعوامل قيامها وتطورها )، المصدر السابق ,ص378. Com base em um enunciado de Michel Foucault (“A possibilidade de falar e a possibilidade de ser louco são contemporâneas”), este artigo investiga as relações entre linguagem, loucura e literatura, dialogando com autores como Clarice Lispector, Machado de Assis, Gilles Deleuze, D. H. Lawrence, Peter Stoterdjik, Michel Leiris, Jorge Luis Borges, Roland Barthes e Georges Bataille. Se a língua “é simplesmente fascista”, se somos falados por ela, o delírio é inevitável e somente nos resta modulá-lo. O delírio a bico de pena é um delírio menor e, ao mesmo tempo, “histórico mundial”, desenha a criança (o ser) em seu impuro devir, não busca fixá-la(o) nem impor limites. Esgarça a linguagem, constitui aquilo que Foucault, numa conversa com Duccio Trombadori, nomeava uma experiência.

Georges Bataille (1897–1962) was a central figure within twentieth-century French avant-garde circles, yet the importance of his work for the study of religion is only beginning to be recognized. Between the First and Second World Wars, he not only edited journals(Documents, Acéphale)and engaged in literary and political movements, but also organized (together with Roger Caillois and Michel Leiris) the College of Sociology, which attempted to bring the sociological methods of Emile Durkheim and Marcel Mauss to bear on the study and pursuit of the sacred. Throughout his work of the 1930s, Bataille sought to reintroduce the sacred into modern industrial, secular societies, which, he argued, believed in God only insofar as they equated God with reason. For Bataille, the power of the sacred lies in its ambiguity and violence. Sacrifice and expenditure mark the antithesis of the instrumental rationality of modern bourgeois society; through sacrifice, then, new sovereign communities might be engendered. Religious questions, for Bataille, were irrevocably political. He thus attempted to theorize and to create a community without authority, one that might counter the authoritarian movements coming to dominate much of Europe in the 1930s.

Eluding easy categorization, French poet, essayist and autobiographer Julien Michel Leiris was affiliated with literary Surrealism, Existentialism and ethnography. Involved with the surrealist movement through his friendships with André Masson (1896–1987), Max Jacob (1876–1944) and Georges Bataille (1897–1962), Leiris published texts of surrealist inspiration such as Simulacre (1925), which featured Masson’s lithographs; Le Point cardinal (1927), ‘a prose narrative of erotic transcendence’ (Hand 29); and Aurora (1946), his only novel, which was written two decades earlier.
