The large TPC (95 m3) of the ALICE detector at the CERN LHC was commissioned in summer 2006. The first tracks were observed both from the cosmic ray muons and from the laser rays injected into the TPC. In this article the basic principles of operating the 266 nm lasers are presented, showing the installation and adjustment of the optical system and describing the control system. To generate the laser tracks, a wide laser beam is split into several hundred narrow beams by fixed micro-mirrors at stable and known positions throughout the TPC. In the drift volume, these narrow beams generate straight tracks at many angles. Here we describe the generation of the first tracks and compare them with simulations.

This article examines the objectives, basic principles, the procedure for developing internal audit standards (in audit organizations) when applying ISAs in the practice of the Russian audit. We analyzed the theses of the Federal rules of auditing standards which were used before 2017, and the theses of ISQC 1 «Quality control for firms that perform audits and reviews of financial statements and other assurance and related services engagements» in order to find out the difference between their requirements to internal audit standards. We considered the role of internal audit standards (in an audit organization) when building up the quality control system in consideration with ISQC and defined the basic requirements internal audit standards should meet according to quality control system conception.

The article contains the BIM-models cycle, background and basic principles of creation the operational information model of smart cities control system with tools for performing the rule check, sequence of E-BIM model use. For the development and implementation of the operational information model of smart cities control system in the construction industry, it is necessary not only to determine the basic levels and parameters of choice when taking into account solutions from the organizational and technological documentation, but also to build the architecture of application software to ensure the operation of the control system at all subsequent stages of the life cycle of the smart object. It is important to determine the main factors affecting decision-making and parameters of formation of input and output data for modeling each stage of the life cycle of the object, as well as technical and economic indicators of the information model by stages [1,2].

Safety Evaluation of Fail-Safe Fieldbus in Safety Related Control System The paper deals with the problem of modelling safety features of the safety Fieldbus transmission system used within safety related control systems. The basic principles of the modelling failures effect upon the safety of closed transmission system and standards used in the process of safety evaluation are summarized in the paper. The practical part is oriented to a description of a realized Markov model for determination of the random failures effect on the safety of a closed transmission system. The model reflects the safety analysis of failures effect caused by electromagnetic interference in the communication channel and random HW failures of the transmission system. In the paper the results of simulation of parameters of the transmission system are discussed, such as the probability of an undetected corrupted message.
