Abstract   This research paper investigated the economic benefits of Cloud based E-commerce in Indian service Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs). The emergence of the new concept of Cloud computing has greatly changed the way in which organisations are managing their services. Cloud computing primarily includes the process of providing computing resources as a service rather than a product in an organisation. Hence, the adoption of Cloud based E-commerce has been seen to help the aspiring service SMBs to enter into the big leagues of business operations. Indian service SMBs, in general, play an important role in the economic growth of the country. They provide different opportunities to the society which include reduction of poverty, development of rural areas, and generation of job opportunities, entrepreneurship, and export of nation and so on. Hence it is necessary to adopt new technologies so as to enhance their business performance, improve competitiveness and reduce cost. However, service SMBs are facing several issues in India which are ultimately due to lack of sufficient resources. Previous researchers have focused on analysing the importance and issues of SMBs in a competitive society. However, one question which needs to be addressed is whether any specific economic benefits it provided to Indian SMBs. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted to evaluate the level of economic benefit is obtained by Indian service SMBs. Abstract Background The Saudi government is trying to implement the e-health system throughout Saudi Arabia to promote accessible health services for its population. However, adoption of the e-health system has not been effective. Thus the objective of this study was to investigate the factors that influence the adoption of e-health in this country. Methods To carry out this research, a questionnaire was designed to obtain information on how people in Saudi Arabia use the e-health system and the problems they face when using this technology. The questionnaire was initially viewed by 438 people and 130 of them answered the survey. Results The results of this research on the adoption of the e-health system in Saudi Arabia indicated that the main factors preventing the implementation of this system were mainly related to the lack of a relationship between doctors and patients, fears about the possibility of violating data privacy and a lack of government regulations. In addition, there are certain demographic factors such as age, gender, residence, income, education and culture that create obstacles in the adoption of the e-health system. Conclusions This study suggests that professionals should contribute to modifying the e-health system and adding more government regulatory bodies to increase adoption. This will encourage end-users to trust the system. By modifying existing strategies, the results of this study can contribute to the successful implementation of the e-health system in Saudi Arabia.

In the world auto market, top three companies are VW(Volkswagen), Runault-Nissan-Mistubishi, and Toyota. About some selected countries and areas, China, England, Italy, Australia, Germany, Turkey, Russia, Sweden, USA, Brazil, UAE, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand are more competitive. However, the situation is different. Seeing monopolistic market countries and areas, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, France, India, and Pakistan, in particular, the influence of Japan to Taiwan, India, and Pakistan is very big. But in Korea and France, their own companies’ brands occupy the market. In Japan domestic market, the overall situation is competitive. Almost all vehicles made in Japan are Japanese brand. From now on, we have to note the development of electric vehicle (EV) and other new technologies such as automatic driving and connected car. That is because they will give a great impact on the auto industry and market of Japan. Now Japan’s auto industry is going to be consolidated into three groups, Honda, Toyota group, and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi group for seeking the scale merit of economy. Therefore, I will pay attention to the worldwide development of EV and other new technologies and the reorganization of auto companies groups.

Background. The organization of clinical trials (CTs) requires the participation and coordination of healthcare providers, patients, public and private parties. Obstacles to the participation of any of these groups pose a risk of lowering the potential for the implementation of CTs. Researchers are a key human resource in conducting of CT. Their motivation for participation can have a significant impact on the recruitment and retention of patients, on the quality of the data collected, which determines the overall outcome of the study. Aims to assess the factors affecting the inclusion of Russian physicians-researchers in CT, and to determine their role in relations with patients-participants. Materials and methods. The study was organized as a part of the Russian multicenter face-to-face study. A survey was conducted of researchers from 10 cities of Russia (20172018). The participation in the survey for doctors was anonymous and voluntary. Results. The study involved 78 respondents. Most research doctors highly value the importance of research for science (4,84 0,39), society (4,67 0,46) and slightly lower for participating patients (4,44 0,61). The expectations of medical researchers are related to improving their financial situation and attaining new experience (n = 14; 18,18%). However, the opportunity to work with new technologies of treatment and diagnosis (n = 41; 52,56%) acted as a motivating factor. According to the questionnaire, the vast majority of research doctors (n = 29; 37,18%) believe that the main reason for patients to participate in CT is to receive quality and free medical care. The most significant obstacle to the inclusion of participants in CT was the side effects of the study drug (n = 38; 48,71%). Conclusions. The potential of clinical researchers in Russia is very high. The patient-participant acts for the research doctor as the subject of the study, and not the object, so the well-being of the patient is not indifferent to the doctor. However, the features of the functioning of our health care system form the motivation of doctors-researchers (additional earnings, professional self-development) and the way they perceive the motivation of patients (CT as an opportunity to receive quality medical care).

Although the electronic health (e-health) cloud computing system is a promising innovation, its adoption in the healthcare industry has been slow. This study investigated the adoption of e-health cloud computing systems in the healthcare industry and considered security functions, management, cloud service delivery, and cloud software for e-health cloud computing systems. Although numerous studies have determined factors affecting e-health cloud computing systems, few comprehensive reviews of factors and their relations have been conducted. Therefore, this study investigated the relations between the factors affecting e-health cloud computing systems by using a multiple criteria decision-making technique, in which decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL), DANP (DEMATEL-based Analytic Network Process), and modified VIKOR (VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje) approaches were combined. The intended level of adoption of an e-health cloud computing system could be determined by using the proposed approach. The results of a case study performed on the Taiwanese healthcare industry indicated that the cloud management function must be primarily enhanced and that cost effectiveness is the most significant factor in the adoption of e-health cloud computing. This result is valuable for allocating resources to decrease performance gaps in the Taiwanese healthcare industry.

Teleworking and online shopping became commonplace during the COVID-19 pandemic and can be expected to maintain a strong presence in the foreseeable future. They can lead to significant changes in mobility patterns and transport demand. It is still unclear, however, how extensive their adoption can be, since each individual has different preferences or constraints. The overall impact on transport depends on which segments of the population will modify their behaviour and on what the substitutes to the current patterns will be. The purpose of this work is to identify the user profiles and spatial aspects that affect the adoption of teleworking and online shopping, and to explore the potential impact on transport demand. To that end, data from an EU-wide survey on mobility were analysed using a Machine Learning methodology. The results suggest that while the take up of the new work and consumption patterns is high on average, there are significant differences among countries and across different socio-economic profiles. Teleworking appears to have a high potential mainly in certain services sectors, affecting commuting patterns predominantly in large urban areas. Online shopping activity is more uniform across the population, although differences among countries and age groups may still be relevant. The findings of this work can be useful for the analysis of policies to encourage the uptake of new technologies in transport and mobility. They can be also a good reference point for future studies on the ex-post analysis of the impacts of the pandemic on mobility.
