A new methodology for the identification of the values of unknown disturbance signals acting in the input and output measurements of the dynamic linear system is presented. For the solution of this problem, the new idea of the use of two different state observers, which are coworking simultaneously in parallel, was elaborated. Special integral type observers are operating on the same finite time window of the width T and both can reconstruct the exact value of the vector state x(T) on the basis of input-output measurements in this interval [0, T]. If in the input-output signals the disturbances are absent (measurements of I/O signals are perfect) then both observers (although they are different) reconstruct the exact and the same state x(T). However, if in the measurement signals the disturbances are present then these observers will reconstruct the different values of the final states x1(T)=x(T)+e1(T) and x2(T)=x(T)+e2(T). It is because they have different norms and hence they generate different errors in both estimated states. Because of the disturbances, the real state x(T) is unknown, but it is easy to calculate the state difference: x1(T)-x2(T)=e1(T)-e2(T). It occurs that, based on this difference, the values of all the disturbances acting during the control process can be identified. In the paper, the theory of the exact state observation and application of such observers in online mode is recalled. The new methodology for disturbances identification is presented.

This paper proposes a new composite observer capable of estimating the states and unknown (or changing) parameters of a chemical process, using some input-output measurements, the phenomenological based model and other available knowledge about the process. The proposed composite observer contains a classic observer (CO) to estimate the state variables, an observer-based estimator (OBE) to obtain the actual values of the unknown or changing parameters needed to tune the CO, and an asymptotic observer (AO) to estimate the states needed as input to the OBE. The proposed structure was applied to a CSTR model with three state variables. With the proposed structure, the concentration of reactants and other CSTR parameters can be estimated on-line if the reactor and jacket temperatures are known. The procedure for the design of the proposed structure is simple and guarantees observer convergence. In addition, the convergence speed of state and parameter estimation can be adjusted independently.

This study assesses the significance of different types of tourists to Victoria, Australia, by their relative contribution to the economy. Differential impacts are calculated using an input–output model incorporating marginal household coefficients. The analysis demonstrates that the conventional input–output model can overestimate the flow-on effects to value added, income and employment by a significant amount. It finds that domestic tourists are the largest contributor to the State economy, with day-trippers spending the greatest amount. International tourists rank last in terms of economic impacts on the state.

The paper deals with the methods for metrological support of ionospheric, magnetic, and heliogeophysical observations of the state observation network, including ground-based and space segments, and with the directions for improving the accuracy and reliability of measurements. The solutions to the previously identified problems and the implementation of proposals on improving the measurement quality for operational response to heliogeophysical hazards at the current stage of development of the geophysical monitoring system are demonstrated.

In this paper, a tracking and capturing method for abnormal behavior in marketing system is designed. The main steps of the method include: (1) Trace generation based on function injection. This method selects NOP, HLT and other instructions of untrusted processes to fill the memory area, and injects the test. The function and control process execute the function to obtain Trace; (2) Trace & capture-based sandbox interception system function analysis method, first establish a finite state automaton model describing the instruction address translation of the untrusted process call system function, according to the state of the automaton. The conversion determines whether the system function calling process has interception behavior, and further identifies the system function of the sandbox interception according to the position of the state machine conversion instruction in the automatic machine. This paper designs and implements the prototype system, called TC-analyser, and solves the key problems of the function injection timing selection, Trace intermediate representation and other implementation processes. Finally, choose Chromium and Adobe Reader to test the TC-analyser’s interception recognition capability and compare it with Hooks hark. The experimental results show that the TC-analyser has good interception and recognition capabilities.

State observers for systems having Lipschitz nonlinearities are considered for what concerns the stability of the estimation error by means of a decomposition of the dynamics of the error into the cascade of two systems. First, conditions are established in order to guarantee the asymptotic stability of the estimation error in a noise-free setting. Second, under the effect of system and measurement disturbances regarded as unknown inputs affecting the dynamics of the error, the proposed observers provide an estimation error that is input-to-state stable with respect to these disturbances. Lyapunov functions and functionals are adopted to prove such results. Third, simulations are shown to confirm the theoretical achievements and the effectiveness of the stability conditions we have established.

CRONE control, robust control methodology based on fractional differentiation, is applied to state observer design. State observation can indeed be viewed as a regulation problem given that the goal of a state observer is to cancel the observation error in spite of measurement noise, disturbances and plant perturbations. This conclusion has been used recently to define a new class of state observers known in the literature as “dynamic observers” or “input-output observer”. It is based on the observation error dynamic feedback. In this paper, this idea is used to define the CRONE observer design methodology for nonlinear SISO systems. As for CRONE control, fractional differentiation in the definition of an equivalent open loop transfer function permits the reduction of the number of parameters to be optimised.
