RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE ORGANOMETALLIC CHEMISTRY OF TECHNETIUM. PREPARATION AND PROPERTIES OF A POLYNUCLEAR TETRACARBONYL
A polynuclear tetracarbonyl of technetium, constituting a novel class of carbonyls for the manganese subgroup metals, is formed during the treatment of the pentacarbonyl, Tc2(CO)10, with sodium amalgam and subsequent acidification. The new derivative is characterized, and its possible structure is discussed.
