Exponential Relation

The gas-liquid critical region is described by means of an exponential relation, parameters of which are independent of system. It can be used for the preparation of nonclassical fluid phase behaviour. The isothermal vapour-liquid equilibrium data on the sulphur hexafluoride-pentane system measured in neighbourhood of the critical point of SF6 are presented.
