Student is the subject of the experimental teaching activities, cultivating the ability of independent study and technological innovation is the main aspect in experimental teaching reform. This paper analyzed the problems of traditional teaching model, explored and practiced the multilevel experimental teaching pattern which is based on the blended learning, it made the teachers fully play the leading role, and it fully reflected the subject status of students, it also roused the enthusiasm of students by the use of multi-platforms, media and environments. The multilevel experimental teaching pattern which is based on the blended learning can effectively cultivate the innovation ability of students, and it has achieved good results in practice.

How to boost the manufacturing and innovation ability of university students majored in mechanical engineering is explored by vast number of teachers. With the deep-going of teaching reform, most teachers have made some positive explorations in practice teaching. The paper introduces some explorations in practice teaching, ranged from refining teaching contents in class to, elaborating practice teaching links and designing projects for innovation and the objective of those exploration is to boost the manufacturing and innovation ability of students. Practice proves those explorations are effective for educating students’ manufacturing and innovation ability.

Experimental teaching is the main means to improve students 'practical ability and independent innovation ability, and open laboratory is the most basic teaching and scientific research environment for cultivating innovative ability and compound talents[1,2]. In order to meet the needs of high-quality talents in our country, the Electrotechnics and electronics experimental teaching demonstration center has broken the traditional closed teaching system and learning methods, and has carried out open-ended experiments in order to cultivate students'independent learning ability and innovative spirit, improve students' enthusiasm of integrating theory with practice, and solve class-hour conflicts and time-consuming problems. Disadvantages such as fixed and idle experimental resources.

<p>The reform of the current education system has put forward higher requirements on the teaching of colleges and universities. On the one hand, teachers should be responsible for teaching students‘ knowledge and improving students' cultural literacy. On the other hand, they should cultivate students' comprehensive practical ability and innovative ability. Civil engineering major is an important major to train talents for China's economic development. The educational reform of colleges and universities should constantly improve the quality of practical teaching of civil engineering and cultivate talents with strong comprehensive ability for China's economic and social development. At present, the research on the teaching reform of civil engineering is deepening, aiming at improving the quality of civil engineering teaching and promoting the reform of construction course teaching. This paper mainly studies the cultivation of students' innovation ability by the reform of civil engineering practice teaching.</p>
