Cooperative learning is learning that occurs when students work in small groups to help one another in learning. In cooperative learning there are various approaches, one of wich is used this program si the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). In this progam a peer tutoring methos is carried out, namely the role of senior students who guide their junior students, as well as the role of peers in achieving progam goals, namely increasing the value of Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology Subyects. This research was conducted on first semester students of the Faculty of Psychology, Universty X. The result showed that the interventions for two groups were not yet effective, this happened because there was ahigh likelihood of interaction between the test group and the control group. While based on the network pattern, it can be seen the changes in relations and interactions between students in each group and some students who become opinion leaders and there are students who become isolated.

Objective. This research sets out the effects of a training method based on peer tutoring, aimed at developing empathy among nursing students at the University of Barcelona (Spain). Methods. After initial training, students are matched in pairs with similar level of empathy, exchanging the role of tutor and tutee in every session, during 12 sessions. Before the session, the tutor prepares the activities to work with his or her tutee, following this structure: exploration of prior knowledge, explanation, practical activities, feedback, and reflection. Jefferson Scale of Empathy was administered as pre-test and post-test to 76 nursing students, 40 in the intervention group, and 36 in the comparison group. Following a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design, a quantitative study (a quasi-experimental design with a comparison group) was combined with a qualitative study (interaction analysis of the 12 videotaped sessions). Results. The results revealed statistically significant improvements in empathy in the intervention group. Subsequent analysis of the peer tutoring interaction highlighted the specific actions that had resulted in these improvements and generated a context in which the tutee was able to understand complex concepts, while enabling both students to participate, reflect and discuss. Conclusion. Peer tutoring is an effective method for the development of empathy in nursing students.

This writing aims to improve classroom learning, which often makes students passive in learning because of the very dominant role of the teacher, which causes little room for students. The jigsaw learning model is an alternative solution to the learning method that makes students active because this method uses the concept of peer tutoring, but in its implementation this method still lacks that is sometimes students experience different perceptions in understanding a material for that another strategy is needed to cover up the deficiencies, Therefore the strategy of task and forced learning can be combined with the jigsaw method so that students can improve learning outcomes to the fullest.

AbstractWhitehouse adapts insights from evolutionary anthropology to interpret extreme self-sacrifice through the concept of identity fusion. The model neglects the role of normative systems in shaping behaviors, especially in relation to violent extremism. In peaceful groups, increasing fusion will actually decrease extremism. Groups collectively appraise threats and opportunities, actively debate action options, and rarely choose violence toward self or others.
