More than ever, abortion is paid attention today by public especially in cases that keeping on the pregnancy has problems for mother or there is a fault or keeping the dignity of mother and her family depending on abortion and realizing from its consequences. Therefore, it is too important to obtain abortion verdict. Basically, abortion in all steps of growth evolution from the conclusion of zygote to birth is a decisive prohibition in Islam. The present paper studies abortion and religious verdicts and its effects based on different motivations in the view of religion and law. Further, different forms of abortion and its punishment in Iranian criminal laws are clarified here. Finally, different forms of abortion and their reasons in the views of religion and law are discussed in the present study.

ABSTRACTWe have studied the first phases of post-growth evolution of InAs quantum dots (QDs) using in-situ Auger electron spectroscopy in conjunction with Reflection High Energy Electron Diffraction (RHEED). Direct evidence for InAs intermixing with about 6ML (monolayers) of the matrix material is found from Auger signal behavior during MBE overgrowth of InAs nanostructures. Re-establishment of 2D growth mode by overgrowth with GaAs or AlAs was monitored in single-layer and multi-layer QD structures using RHEED. Decay process of InAs QDs on the surface is found to have activation energy of about 1.1 eV that corresponds to In intermixing with the matrix rather than evaporation from the surface.

In-situ HRTEM technique was applied to various substrates and the reaction processes between substrates and molten alloy were compared. Substrates used were SiC, Si3N4, Si wafers, an amorphous carbon film, and a carbon nanotube. Ti-containing Ag-Cu eutectic alloy foil was placed on the substrate and the combined specimen mounted on the heating holder of an HRTEM and heated in the microscope to melt the alloy foil. In the case of SiC, Si3N4, carbon materials, the molten alloy spreading on the substrates were observed after melting of the alloy. SiC polar plane nano-steps appeared with the SiC dissociation by the molten alloy. On the surface of the carbon nanotube, thin film precursor spreading was observed. In contrast, Si reaction with the molten alloy produced big holes at the contacted area and molten alloy spreading was not observed.
