The bioethanol that is produced worldwide is mostly obtained from agricultural crops such as sugarcane and corn. However, it has negative environmental effects, so the option of producing bioethanol from agricultural waste arises. This work evaluates the feasibility to produce second generation bietanol from oranges residues (peel and bagasse) produced in the province of Chapare, Bolivia. The estimation is carried out from the reducing sugars, determined by the DNS method, individual sugars, determined by HPLC, produced by acidic and enzymatic hydrolysis of the residues. Similarly, the amount of ethanol produced by fermentation of the samples is quantified. Regarding the results obtained, the best alternative in terms of bioethanol production is the enzymatic hydrolysis. An economic and environmental impact evaluation are also included considering the production of bioethanol from real orange residues.

The emotional and environmental impact of transitioning from a nappy-free culture to a society dependent on disposable nappies comes at a cost. After a seven-month “baby observation” travelling through Asia, my hypothesis is that the traditional indigenous method of managing the baby’s elimination enhances attunement, bonding, and attachment, and when the child feels held in mind by the mother in this way he is more emotionally regulated and somatically connected. However, the exponential use of disposable nappies may be our blind spot where neither the dangers to the psychological and physical health of the future generation, nor to the planet, are being held in mind. Facing the rapid changing world, concern on the future of the nation is increasing. This is due to the fact that a lot of practices in schools, families, as welf as in society do not conform with the etical conduct, moral, and good manner that are universially accepted by human being. Therefore, all people who concern on the future of the nation, especially educators, should aware of the importance of character education, in order to save the future generation from moral degradation. Related to the problem, this aims at trigerring the awareness of educator to the importance of character education, by discussing the conceptual meanings ( what, why, and how) of character education, then followed by the possibility for implementation, and ended with the implication on education and teacher education.
