Preparing against immorality in a postmodern society: A her-meneusis of 2 Peter 1:12-15. Under the influence of postmodernism the moral autonomy of man is at present strongly accentuated and society more and more evinces the characteristics of this perspective. This article on 2 Peter 1:12-15 argues that it is important to make believer!' aware of the consequences of an immoral lifestyle and to prepare them against it. Believers must be equipped with fresh and clear knowledge of the teachings of the apostles. In these teachings the believers possess authoritative guidance that will help them to distinguish between true and false teachers of Jesus Christ and that will lead them to sanctification. The teachings of the apostles will also teach them to call lovingly upon other people to live a life true to God and one that speaks of high moral values and self control.

ABSTRACT: THE IMPACT OF COUNSELING ON THE DANGERS OF DRUGS, GADGETS, FREE ASSOCIATIONS ON THE KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF STUDENTS AT SMK PP NEGERI SAREE Background: Gadget addiction can affect children's brain development because excessive production of the hormone dopamine interferes with the maturity of the prefrontal cortex functions, namely controlling emotions, self-control, responsibility, decision making, and other moral values. Gadget addiction can cause attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity. Implementation of rehabilitation for children who abuse narcotics based on the mandate of the legislation on narcotics, narcotics addicts are required to undergo rehabilitation but this provision has never been implemented, more children are punished than rehabilitated.Objective: It is known that the problem in this thesis is why the implementation of rehabilitation for children who abuse narcotics in the Kediri City Police Legal Area is very low.Methods: This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data obtained have been analyzed using paired sample t-test.Results: The average level of student knowledge before being given counseling was 12.54 and after being given counseling was 14.08 which experienced a significant increase. which experienced a significant increase. Based on the results of data analysis using the paired sample t-test, the value of p = .000 < 0.05Conclusion: In this study, there was an effect of counseling on the dangers of gadgets, drugs, and promiscuity in SMK 1 PP SAREE. Keywords: the dangers of gadgets, the dangers of drugs, promiscuity  INTISARI: DAMPAK PENYULUHAN BAHAYA NARKOBA, GADGET, PERGAULAN BEBAS TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN SISWA DI SMK PP NEGERI SAREE Pendahuluan: Kecanduan Gadget dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan otak anak karena produksi hormon dopamine yang berlebihan menganggu kematangan fungsi prefrontal korteks yaitu mengontrol emosi, kontrol diri, tanggung jawab, pengambilan keputusan dan nilai-nilai moral lainnya. Kecanduan gadget dapat menimbulkan gangguan pemusat perhatian dan hiperaktivitas. Penerapan rehabilitasi terhadap anak penyalah guna narkotika berdasarkan amanat peraturan perundang-undangan tentang narkotika, pecandu narkotika wajib menjalani rehabilitas namun ketentuan ini tidak pernah diterapkan, lebih banyak anak dipidana daripada direhabilitasi.Tujuan: Diketahui Pprmasalahan dalam tesis ini adalah Mengapa penerapan rehabilitasi terhadap anak penyalah guna narkotika di Wilayah Hukum Kepolisian Resort Kediri Kota sangat rendah.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra expriemental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest desaign. Data yang diperoleh telah di analisa menggunakan paired simple t- test.Hasil: Rerata tingkat tingkat pengetahuan siswa sebelum diberikan penyuluhan yaitu 12.54 dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan yaitu 14.08 dimana mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. dimana mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan uji paired sampel t-test didapatkan nilai p =.000 < 0.05Kesimpulan: Dalam penelitian ini, terdapat pengaruh penyuluhan bahaya gadget, narkoba dan pergaulan bebas di SMK 1 PP SAREE. Kata Kunci: bahaya gadget, bahaya narkoba, pergaulan bebas

<p class="Penulis">The purpose of the research is to find out the character and the moral values in the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. This research is designed as qualitative research. The approach that the writer uses is qualitative. The data are collected by analyzing the data found in the novel. The analysis of the novel is undertaken on the dialogues. The result of the research is the form of character and moral values. 1) The character that emerges in the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” is the protagonist, antagonist, and foil characters. The protagonist is 70 %, the antagonist is 18 %, and the foil character is 12 %. It means that the character who dominates in the novel is the protagonist. This novel's point is to lead the readers to appreciate others 2) There are seven moral values in the novel: respect, kindness, conscience, self-control, empathy, tolerance, and fairness. The moral value in the novel, respect gets 28 %, kindness is 10 %, conscience is 15%, self-control is 5 %, empathy is 15%, tolerance is 13%, and fairness is 15%. It means that moral values that dominate in the novel convey particularly to the readers is respect.</p>

This paper examines identity through the declamation of zamu or praise poetry in the oral epic narration of Moumouni Sékou, one of the Zarma (an ethnic group from Niger) bards or griots better known as Kulba Baaba Seebeeri. Right at the opening episode of the epic song, the bard proceeds to exhibit the identity of one of his heroic figures Haamali Seyni Gakoy by announcing some of his qualities or values such as: fearlessness, truthfulness, friendliness, gorgeousness and self-control to name but a few. In the eyes of the griot, these traits are key values that characterize the identity of the noble. The exhibition of these salient and important qualities is an interpellation of the griot toward his audience, so as to make them aware of the cultural moral values that past generations held individually and collectively.

Literary work is a personal reflection of the author. The purpose of this study is to describe Moral Values in Kyria's My Perfect Sunset Novel. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research is done by not prioritizing numbers, but prioritizing the depth of appreciation of the interaction between concepts that are being studied in an implicit manner. Based on the results of overall data research Moral Value Analysis in My Perfect Sunset Novel by Kyria, there are 7 aspects, namely Patience, Tawakal, Worship, Help Help Work Hard, Self-Control, and Regret, as for the results of the above quotations namely: Patience is a virtue that adorns a believer, where the person is able to overcome various difficulties and remain in obedience to God even though the tribulation and trials are so terrible. The Moral Value of patience aspects in Kyria's My Perfect Sunset novel contained 2 quotes, Tawakal is a full willingness of all that it receives, and henceforth it will always have hope for everything that it wants and aspires to. The Moral Value of the aspects of resignation in the My Perfect Sunset novel by Kyria there are 2 quotes, Worship is a case of tauqifiyah namely there is no form of worship that is prescribed except according to the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah, Worship in Islamic sharia is the final destination that is loved and blessed. The Moral Values of the Worship aspect of Kyria's My Perfect Sunset novel contained 2 quotes, Please Help fellow social beings, humans cannot live alone. As for the Moral Value aspect, please help with Kyria's My Perfect Sunset by 13 excerpts. Working hard will get what you want even if you do it hard. As for the Moral Value, the diligent aspect of working on Kyria's My Perfect Sunset novel contained 4 quotes, Self-Control makes one accustomed to enjoying the regularity of life, accustomed to being obedient, and feeling happy. The Moral Value aspects of being able to control themselves in the novel My Perfect Sunset by Kyria there are 5 quotes, Regret is a feeling that must be felt in life. Because with regret, someone will try to be better, and minimize mistakes in his life. The Moral Value aspects of regret in the novel My Perfect Sunset by Kyria there are 23 quotes.

This study investigates normative dimensions of speech acts. It analyzes the nature of normative dimension of speech acts.To get empirical data, 9 participants were chosen as sources of spoken language data: 2 tuan guru giving speeches in formal contexts; and 7 people engaging in casual conversations in informal context. To collect data, observation and voice recording was used. Prior to analysis, the data were transcribed, labeled and classified according to categories that appeared from the data. Findings reveal and advocate the normative and moral dimensions of speech acts generated from agent’s change normative standing to hearers in terms of right, obligation and responsibility. As a result, the study argues that moral values embedded in speech act performance such honesty, truth, self-control and respect, obedience and so forth could be taught in order to foster children good character development in comprehensive ways including moral reasoning, affection and behaviors. For that reason, moral values teaching based on speech act normativity and morality could be used as an arena for bearing good character corresponding to the process of acquiring of the first language or learning the second/foreign language. This could be a starting point for teaching moral competence through language institution that are more affordable, accessible and learnable for all rational human being all over the world. Furthermore, those moral values might be the foundation for moral action of children to bear the awareness of good interpersonal or intersubjective relationship. Based on the limitation of the study, it needs to hold further study as to the practical model of teaching moral values on the bases of moral values embedded in performing speech acts.Kajian ini menelaah tentang karakter dimensi normatif tindakan berbahasa. Data empiris diperoleh dengan melibatkan 9 partisipan, yakni 2 tuan guru yang memberikan ceramah dalam konteks formal dan 7 orang yang terlibat percakapan kasual dalam konteks informal. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan rekaman suara. Sebelum analisa, data tersebut ditranskripsi, dilabeli dan diklasifikasikan. Kajian ini mengungkapkan dan mendukung  adanya dimensi normatif dan moral tindakan berbahasa yang dibentuk dari perubahan kedudukan normatif pembicara dan pendengar terkait hak, kewajiban dan tanggungjawab. Kajian ini mendukung bahwa dimensi normatif dan nilai moral yang melekat dalam setiap tindakan berbahasa seperti, kejujuran, kebenaran, komitmen, tanggungjawab, kontrol diri, saling menghargai dan lain-lain yang bisa diajarkan  dalam pengembangan karakter anak yang bermoral dengan cara yang komprehensif meliputi penalaran moral, afeksi dan tindakan. Oleh sebab itulah, pengajaran nilai-nilai moral berbasis moralitas dan normativitas tindakan berbahasa bisa digunakan sebagai arena pendidikan karakter atau nilai. Ini bisa menjadi langkah awal pengajaran kompetensi moral melalui instiusi bahasa. Di samping itu, nilai-nilai moral tersebut merupakan fondasi dalam tindakan anak yang bermoral untuk membangun kesadaran interpersonal anak yang baik. Berdasarkan keterbatasan kajian ini, diperlukan kajian lebih lanjut tentang model praktis pengajaran nilai-nilai moral berbasis dimensi normatif dan moral yang inheren dalam setiap tindakan berbahasa.
