Objetivo: conhecer o perfil de Diagnósticos de Enfermagem em mulheres nutrizes atendidas no Banco de Leite Humano. Metodologia: estudo descritivo, com 30 mulheres atendidas no Banco de Leite Humano entre doadoras e não doadoras. Os dados foram coletados nos meses de março a maio de 2012. A análise se deu por meio de estatística descritiva. Resultados: os diagnósticos foram descritos para dois grupos: Não doadoras: Disposição para conhecimento melhorado (100,0%), Risco de infecção (80,9%), Integridade Tissular prejudicada (80,9%), Padrão de sono prejudicado (76,1%), Conhecimento deficiente (66,6%), Ansiedade (52,3%); Em Doadoras: Padrão de sono prejudicado (77,7%) e Ansiedade (55,5%). Conclusão: a taxonomia diagnóstica encontra-se de acordo com a população estudada. Conclusion: the diagnostic taxonomy is in agreement with the studied population. Conclusión: la taxonomía diagnóstica es función de la población estudiada. Introduction and Purpose: The importance of pain control in patients with limb trauma in the emergency department and its complications is the main issue in post-emergency care and plays an important role in accelerating the improvement of patients' general status. Therefore, the present study aimed to evaluate the analgesic and sedative effects of ketamine infusion against intravenous morphine in relieving fracture pain of long or short bones in the upper and lower limbs. Materials and Methods: We examined the effect of ketamine and morphine as ketamine infusion at a dose of 0.4 mg/kg/IV/10min and intravenous morphine at a dose of 0.1 mg/kg/IV in patients aged 18-65 years with limb trauma who visited the hospital emergency department. We also compared the duration of analgesia, the amount of pain relief according to the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) in each of the drugs and complications of the above methods, including apnea, bradycardia, tachycardia, decreased level of consciousness, nausea, vomiting, hypertension and hypotension, seizures, and disturbed sleep, and mentioned the preferred method. Results: In the study, we studied 120 patients, 60 of whom received ketamine and 60 received morphine. The mean age of patients was 13.02±13.67 years with a minimum age of 19 years and a maximum age of 70 years, and 89(74.2%) patients were male. There was not any difference between ketamine and morphine in the factors at different times. Conclusion: The results indicated that the potency of low-dose ketamine in relieving pain in patients was very similar to morphine. Keywords: Bone fracture; Ketamine; Morphine.

The diagnostic importance of vegetative symptoms for melancholia was examined through DSM-III, the Newcastle Scale, and Extracted Criteria for melancholia. Statistically significant differences were diagnostically unimpressive in the case of DSM-III and the Newcastle criteria. With the Extracted Criteria, initial insomnia, early waking, anorexia, weight loss, loss of libido, and worsened mood in the morning were all significantly more common in melancholia than in non-melancholic depression, while increased appetite was more common in non-melancholia. Only diurnal variation of mood (worse in the morning) showed predictive value for melancholia; whereas the other traditional vegetative symptoms (disturbed sleep, weight, and libido) did not. Increased appetite and diurnal variation of mood (worse in the evening) were predictive for non-melancholia.

ABSTRACT Ayurveda says Nidra yuktam Sukham Dukkham, In fact, it says that sleep is one of the three pillars of health. Insomnia or Nidranasha, is not just about being not getting proper sleep but it means that the nervous system has been weakened and reduces our ability to cope up with daily sleep. Insomnia is named as Nidranasha, happens due to vitiation of Kapha, Pitta and Vata dosha. Proper and deep sleep helps the person keep Energetic, Enthusiastic, does Brumhana, increases the Bala, increases vigour and vitality and most it keeps the Mind in stable state for gaining knowledge. Insomnia means inability to get sleep at night or inability to have a restful and sound sleep. Insomnia is typically followed by daytime sleepiness, low energy, irritability, and a depressed mood. Insomnia can be short term, lasting for days or weeks, or long term, lasting more than a month. Insomnia can occur independently or as a result of another problem. Conditions that can result in insomnia include psychological stress, chronic pain, heart failure, hyperthyroidism, heartburn, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, Arthritis, menopause, and certain medications, and drugs such as caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. Treatment of Insomnia:- Panchakarma â€“ Taila dhara a type of Shirodhara is very much useful in combacting the Insomnia caused due to various above said disorders. So its a demand of time to know about the real sleep and the disturbed sleep according to Ayurveda and Mordern medicines also and effect of Taila Dhara Brahmi,Jatamamsi siddha) in treating Insomnia.
