INTERNATIONAL KENT ROSANOFF WORD ASSOCIATION NORMS, EMPHASIZING THOSE OF FRENCH MALE AND FEMALE STUDENTS AND FRENCH WORKMEN11This article remains largely as it was written in 1963. When publication of this book was delayed, it was not possible to keep the article up to date, but certain revisions were made in 1969., 22The French norms to be reported here were obtained during two sabbatical semester leaves from the University of California, 1955-1956 and 1960-1961. Both semesters were spent at the Sorbonne, thanks to the generous hospitality of Professor Paul Fraisse, Directeur du Laboratoire de Psychologie Expérimentale et Comparée. The second of these semesters was also aided by a Fulbright Research Fellowship and by a Social Science Research Council Faculty Research Fellowship.
