Evaluation of a Consciousness Energy Healing Based Test Formulation for Skin Health

This study was investigated the effect of Consciousness Energy Healing (The Trivedi Effect®) based test formulation and DMEM medium on skin health in B16-F10, HaCaT, and HFF-1 cells. The test formulation and DMEM were assigned into two parts. First part was received the Biofield Treatment by a renowned Biofield Energy Healer, Dahryn Trivedi and were defined as the Biofield Treated samples (BT), while the second parts were denoted as the untreated test samples (UT). MTT assay data showed more than 76 % cells were viable in all the tested concentrations in three different cell lines, indicating that the test formulation was safe and nontoxic. The BrdU assay showed the percent cell proliferation was increased by 15.88 % in the UT-DMEM + BT- Test formulation compared to the UT-DMEM + UT- Test formulation group. Elastin was increased significantly (p ≤ 0.001) by 64.37 %, 29.46 % and 38.75 % in UT-DMEM + BT-Test formulation, BT-DMEM + UT-Test formulation, and BT-DMEM + BT-Test formulation, respectively at 100 µg / mL compared to the untreated test formulation. Hyaluronic acid was significantly increased by 17.74 %, 96.20 %, and 25.03% in UT-DMEM + BT- Test formulation, BT-DMEM + UT-Test formulation, and BT-DMEM + BT-Test formulation groups, respectively at 10 µg / mL compared to untreated group. The level of melanin was significantly decreased by 8.60% (p ≤ 0.05), 12.68 % (p ≤ 0.001), and 21.73% (p ≤ 0.001) in the UT-DMEM + BT- Test formulation group at 0.1, 1.0, and 10 µg / mL, respectively compared to the untreated group. Protection of skin cells after UV-B exposure data showed that the cell viability was significantly increased by 31.15 % and 10.84 % in the UT-DMEM + BT-Test formulation and BT-DMEM + UT-Test formulation groups, respectively at 50 µg / mL compared to the untreated group. Wound healing data exhibited that the wound area was recovered with new cells by 84.91 %, 92.31 %, 35.09 %, and 41.67 % at 10, 50, 100, and 200 µg / mL in the BT-DMEM + BT- Test formulation group, respectively in Ha Ca T cells compared to the untreated group. The experimental data envisaged that the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM and test formulation showed significant skin protective activity. Thus, the Biofield Energy Treated test formulation could be useful for the development of effective cosmetic products for the nourishment of several skin problems such as fine lines, wrinkles, texture, pore size, elasticity, skin color / clarity, redness, hydration, to maintain the overall skin quality, etc.

Wound Healing Activity of Consciousness Energy Healing Treatmenton HFF-1 Cells and DMEM Using Scratch Assay

The wound healing activity using scratch assay is considered as a convenient in vitro tool for the assessment of wound healing. The present study deals with the optimization of Biofield Energy Treatment (Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment-The Trivedi Effect®) in the HFF-1 cell line (Human Foreskin Fibroblast) and DMEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) using scratch assay against positive control, recombinant Human Epidermal Growth Factor (Hu EGF, 30 ng/mL). This methodwas used for the determination of cell proliferation and migration of fibroblast quantitatively in the scratched wounded area. The scratched area was monitored after 24 hours of wound closure in the Biofield Energy Treated HFF-1 cells and the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM groups, and the representative photomicrographs were taken in each wells using WimScratch Image analysis software. The results showed that the Biofield Energy Treated DMEMwassignificantly higher percentage of fibroblast migration i.e. 51.8%, while the migration was altered in the Biofield Energy Treated HFF-1 cell line compared to the baseline control group. In addition to, the percentage of scratch area was significantly decreased by 2.7% in the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM group, while it was increased by 12% in the Biofield Treated cells group compared to the baseline control group. Overall, the experimental results concluded that The Trivedi Effect® has the significant capacity and wide implications in wound healing activityvia cell culture media, DMEM as compared with the HFF-1 cell line directly. Biofield Energy Healing would be a complementary and alternative medicine that can be used against burn injury cases, acute wound, skin regeneration, eczema, diaper rash, chickenpox, measles, warts, acne, hives, wrinkles, ringworm, Rosacea, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, skin cancer, etc.

In Vitro Assessment of Biofield Energy Healing Treatment on Hair Growth by Enhanced Proliferation of Human Follicular Dermal Papilla Cells (HFDPCs)

Patterned hair loss or androgenic alopecia is a disorder affecting millions of peoples, in which hair sheds without adequate regrowth. Authors propose a new approach to increase hair growth. In this study, authors examined the in vitro potential of the Biofield Energy Healing (The Trivedi Effect®) Treated test items, Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) on the Human Follicular Dermal Papilla Culture Cells (HFDPC) for the assessment of growth and development. The test items (DMEM) were divided into three parts. First part did not receive any sort of treatment and defined as the untreated DMEM group. The second and third parts were treated with the one-time and two-times Biofield Energy Treatment by a renowned Biofield Energy Healer, Dahryn Trivedi and coded as the one-time Biofield Energy Treated DMEM (BT-I) and two-times Biofield Energy Treated DMEM (BT-II) groups, respectively. The Biofield Energy Healing Treatment was provided by a renowned Biofield Energy Healer (The Trivedi Effect®), remotely for ~5 minutes under standard laboratory conditions through unique energy transmission process. The experimental results showed that one-time Biofield Energy Treated DMEM showed 70.24% and two-times Biofield Energy Treated DMEM significantly (p ≤ 0.001) increased the proliferation of dermal papilla cells by 207.62% as compared to the untreated DMEM group. The overall results demonstrated that the Biofield Energy Healing Treatment significantly increased the proliferation of human hair follicle dermal papilla cells in vitro. Therefore, the Consciousness Energy Healing (The Trivedi Effect®) Treatment might be useful as a hair growth promoter in vivo against different types of skin injuries, hair disorders, and opens new research venues.
