The estimation of selected heavy metals (Lead and Cd) was carried out using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). Therein, the levels of Lead (Pb) range from 1.0791+0.023ug/kg to 0.07060.+007ug/kg; the ranges of Cadmium (Cd) are 0.0552+0.003ug/kg to 0.0045+0.006ug/kg. The results revealed varying degrees of heavy metals in the selected plastics examined. Pb was highest in Plastic Bottles (PB) and lowest in Straw (S); whereas, Cd was highest in Straw and lowest in Plastic Bottles. KeyWords - Heavy metals, Pb, Cd, plastics, straw, plastic bottles

This paper proposes a modified particle swarm optimization method with non linearly decreasing inertia weight (MPSO-NDIW) and time varying acceleration coefficients. In this MPSO-NDIW method, proper control of the global exploration and local exploitation is done in finding the optimum solution efficiently. In the early stage, full range of search space is allowed for search by the PSO algorithm and in the later stages of search, fine tuning of solution is done so that the algorithm converges to the global optima efficiently .In velocity vector equation inertia weight and acceleration coefficients are non-linearly varied with iterations. To compare the performance of the MPSO-NDIW method with the other improved PSO, four well known benchmark test functions are used. The results reveal that MPSO-NDIW is a efficient technique and has better performance. KeyWords - Acceleration coefficients, particle swarm, asymmetric initialization, velocity vector, position vector.

In this paper an algorithm to solve the problem of automatic face recognition is presented. The novelty of the algorithm is the ability to combine the principal component analysis (PCA) with Modified Particle Swarm Optimization (MPSO) to improve the execution time and to obtain better face recognition results. The efficiency of face recognition system is imp measure the similarity of an input face compared with a database of faces. The use of the fitness function helps to obtain more accurate results in a faster way. The results obtained are excellent even when the system w A comparison of the results obtained with the algorithm without MPSO versus the algorithm using MPSO is also presented. The algorithm is also implemented on the colored images of the human faces. Keywords: Particle Swarm Optimization, Face Recognition, Eigenfaces, Evolutionary Computer Vision.

Anemia is a major health concern in India since many decades and is continue to rise. Therefore, Hemoglobin measurement is performed in various Pathology labs, Hospitals, Blood Banks etc. to detect Technology. Different method are used for Hemoglobin measurement like Automated Hematology Analyzer, copper sulphate gravimetric method, Hemoglobin colour scale, HICN method, point of care Hemoglobin meter etc.

In this paper we are proposing and designing a 3Dimensional hydraulic piston controlled lower limb prosthetic using polylactic acid thermoplastic (PLA) while adding aesthetic value to it. A number of works have been designed to support amputees we hope this paper’s design will bring the energy conservation we need on the transfemoral amputees. In this work we using Fusion 360 software and polylactic acid thermoplastic (HuPLA) material which is more eco-friendly, biodegradable and recyclable which is light weighted to store elastic energy, improve gaiting and aid in propulsions of the amputee. The socket is made using PLA material which is connected by hydraulic piston to provide stability and also shock absorber to the system to achieve the purpose of this design.

In this paper, I am going to find the cube root of a number. The number must be integer only. Here I have represented the steps and process how to calculate the cube root of any integers. There could be several ways to determine the cube root of simple number, but as far my notion I generated new approach with the following in below seven steps. Here I have shown with some different example. Actually this approach was generated and written on paper in 26th February, 1989 but it published now. Here we are demonstrating cube root with example of a number 3375.

As per the Companies Act, 2013, a Company is an artificial juristic person which can only come into existence through registration and incorporation and is provided with various rights, duties and obligations .Similarly dissolution of company is a legal phenomenon, as per the guidelines of the article of association, being regulated by the various provisions of the said Act. Winding up means a process by which the dissolution of a company is brought about and its assets are realized and applied in the payment of its debts. After satisfaction of the debts, the remaining balance, if any, is paid to the members in proportion to their contribution to the capital of the company. As per Section 2 (94A) of the Companies Act, 2013, winding up refers to process winding up under the said Act or liquidation under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. There exit various modes of winding up of Companies under section 270 of Companies Act, 2013, such as Compulsory winding up by the courts, Winding up under the supervision of court and Voluntary winding up. After the enforcement of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, several changes have been brought in the Companies Act, 2013, such as subtractions voluntary winding up and winding up on the ground of inability to pay debts. The research paper is an attempt to examine the important principals governing winding up of companies in India and has been written in an analytical style. The study is essentially being doctrinal and secondary source of data has been used for writing the research paper. The primary sources include Companies Act, 1956, Companies Act, 2013, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and the government notifications of various amendments done in the existing laws. The research paper will analyse the recent trends in the winding up of companies in India and its impact followed by suggestions wherever required.

The contribution of mining industry in the economic development of a country is vital. It boosts the economy, provides material to build infrastructures, increases employment and provide goods required for daily use. Despite being fundamental for a country’s growth, mining industry has always faced the flak of environmentalists and conservationists for having failed to take preventive and corrective measures to remedy the damage caused to the environment due to the mining activity. The environmental risks posed by the mining activity are catastrophic and there is an exigency to attain a rational balance between the mining activity and environment with an ultimate aim to achieve sustainable development. The mining activity disrupts the entire ecosystem and is a threat to biodiversity. To envisage and analyze the environmental impacts of a proposed mining project, Environment Impact Assessment is inevitable. This paper throws light on the various techniques by which mining is carried out, the importance of Sustainable Mining and Environmental Impact Assessment, the process followed to prepare the assessment report and the role which it plays in environmental protection. The paper also highlights the significant role rehabilitation and reclamation techniques play in potentially improving the damage caused due to the mining activity and some of the effective reclamation processes that can be employed to restore the abandoned mine sites and regulate the ongoing mining operations.
