Literary and Linguistic Matters in the Book of Proverbs It is my pleasant duty to thank the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies at Yarnton Manor for hosting me during the period of June–December 2012, during which months this study was written. As those who have enjoyed time at the Centre know well, this singular institution provides the perfect atmosphere in which to conduct one’s academic research.
