The development of economy in the world makes females have a large opportunity to pursue their career and become the breadwinner. In the other side, so many male that willing to resign from the job and become househusband. This research aims to test the difference of male and female attitude regarding the househusband as profession in our society. The samples used in this research is 200 respondent, consist of 108 male respondents, and 92 female respondents. Using the technique of Mann Whitney statistical test, this research provide the result that there is no difference attitude of male and female toward househusband as profession in our society. Even male and female, as together do not accept this new profession, both are agree that married man should take active role to manage domestic issue in the house, including child caretaking. Key Words : househusband, role reversal, attitude difference

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of cognitive load and game involvement on consumers' affective responses while comparing single and multi-brand settings in advergames. An experiment was conducted to study the differences between single and multi-brand settings at different levels of cognitive load, with the interaction of game involvement. Results showed that although there was no significant attitude difference towards single and multi-brand settings in advergames, the players' attitude towards the main brand is more positive in a single brand setting. Second, different levels of cognitive load affect attitude towards the main brand both in single and multi-brand settings, but the attitude change is observed only in single brand setting at high cognitive load. The results of the third analysis yielded that game involvement along with high cognitive load affects all attitudes positively.

Tin mining generally results in massive environmental damage. This condition occurs in Bangka Belitung as an area rich in tin natural resources. Due to the environmental damage, tin mining in this area runs along with several rejection of the mine. Environmental activists will generally assist the community in carrying out resistance movements. However, environmental activists will face various dilemmas in advocacy. This paper discusses how the environmental advocacy dilemma in the tin mining community in Bangka Belitung. The study model used is a qualitative model by collecting data in the form of in-depth interviews and conservation. This study found four important things, namely: first, the tendency of society to split in two different attitudes in the context of tin mining. The gap focused on at least 10 dimensions of attitude difference. Second, the study found that the environmental advocacy movement generally centered on the aspect of rejecting the existence of tin mines in the sea and coastal areas as well as Watersheds (DAS). Third, environmental activists are always faced with intimidation and pressure from paid groups by investors. Environmental activists generally face back pressure from counter-pressure groups. Fourth, this study also found that people tended to be apathetic towards the environmental advocacy movement, some of them because they were worried about pressure and partly because they felt unaffected or directly related. The study also found that apathy also arises because of the pragmatism of the people in certain regions which are actually accommodating to tin mining.

Introduction: General practitioner dentists and non-orthodontic specialties ought to have the knowledge of the basic principles and practices of orthodontics in order to educate the patients, diagnose their problems correctly and for proper referral. The objective of the present study is to assess the attitude and knowledge of the general practitioner dentists and non-orthodontic specialists towards the basic principles and practices of orthodontics. Methods: This study was performed by presenting a closed questionnaire to a total of 78 participants out of which 46 were general practitioners and 32 were non-orthodontic specialists. A questionnaire consisting of a total of 21 questions was distributed and each question was allocated 0.5 marks for correct response whereas no deduction for wrong answer. Results: In this present study, the total mean score of the evaluation of the questionnaire came out for general practitioner dentist and the non-orthodontic dental specialists was 13.92 and 16.69 respectively. The present study showed a statistically highly significant knowledge and attitude difference between Group A and Group B ( P<0.001). Conclusions: This study shows a need for a increased clinically oriented education in the undergraduate courses and a multi-disciplinary inter department seminar presentations and forums set up for the post graduation courses for them to understand the scope of each other’s specialties.

Introduction: Meditation healing exercise (MHE) using the SKT technique is popular in Bangkok, Thailand, while in Surabaya, Indonesia, it is relatively new and unpopular. The attitude towards MHE depends on various internal and external factors. This study aimed to compare the attitude towards MHE between the elderly who are living with hypertension (HT) and/or diabetes mellitus (DM) in Bangkok and Surabaya.Methods: This was a comparative study involving 96 and 100 elderly individuals with HT and/or DM in the communities of Surabaya and Bangkok respectively. The sample was chosen according to the aforementioned criteria. The sample size was 196. The instrument used was a valid and reliable questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, the Levene test, and an independent sample T test were used for the data analysis.Results: The majority showed a positive attitude towards MHE; the higher Mean and lower SD was found in Bangkok (19.43 and 2.41). Out of the total, 87.5% and 96.0% elderly had good attitude towards MHE in Surabaya and Bangkok respectively. There was a significant attitude difference in relation to the aspect of preferring to practice MHE between Bangkok and Surabaya (p=0.004). Overall, there was no significant attitude difference between Bangkok and Surabaya (p=0.17).Conclusion: The elderly attitude towards MHE was mostly positive and good. The elderly in Bangkok prefer to practice MHE more than in Surabaya. There was no significant attitude difference in the elderly who are living with HT and/or DM between Bangkok and Surabaya. The implementation of MHE using the SKT technique has a high possibility of being accepted personally by the elderly in both sites.

The major purpose of this study is to find out anxiety, adjustment, emotional intelligence, study habits and attitude difference between adolescent boys and girls (14-16years).  For this purpose data was collected from 60 high school students; 30 boys and 30 girls. The tools used were State and Trait Anxiety Test (STAT), Academic Anxiety Scale, Global Adjustment Scale, Emotional Intelligence Scale, and Test of Study Habits and Attitudes (TSHA). The results indicate that there is no significant mean difference in general anxiety and academic anxiety between boys and girls. However there are significant gender difference in certain dimensions of Emotional Intelligence like empathy, self-motivation, self-development, Study Habits, attitude, and certain dimensions of adjustment.

<p>In this era of globalization, workplace diversity has become the salient aspect of any organization. It helps to increase productivity, efficiency and maintain a positive work environment within the organization. The study assessed the attitude difference that managers come across and how to get benefited from the diversity in the workforce. The investigation was set out to find the relationship between openness to diversity and managerial attitude, based on the data collected from 213 managers of the companies working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The hypotheses are used to guide the study and are tested using ANOVA. The result revealed that there exists a relationship between the manager’s demographic factors, like nationality, and the attitude towards managing the workplace. Organizations will look at the numerous benefits of this research and explain the managers’ attitudes towards managing the multicultural workforce diversity in Saudi Arabia and its benefits within the company with different expertise to do the task in an effective and efficient manner. Thus, this research will benefit the organizations by explaining the managers’ attitudes towards managing the multicultural workforce and also showing how diversity can lead to perform a task in an effective and efficient manner.</p>
