Nowadays, weather forecasting plays a vital role in human activities. The complexity of data gathering in the meteorology department and high technical costs lead to inaccurate weather forecasting. Due to minimizing this problem, an application of using an artificial neural network (ANN) has been developed to forecast weather conditions using the Matlab compiler. This application will help users to define the weather conditions daily well and made early preparation to encounter uncertainty. This application performs in Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) using the back-propagation (BP) algorithm. The data is undergoing training and testing based on actual data obtained from the Malaysian Meteorological Department. The result will show in graph plotting for the training and testing process. Predictive accuracy for each step of stimulation will measure using Mean Square Error (MSE) graph in this application. Therefore, this application will be able to assist the Malaysian Meteorological Department to forecast weather, so our government and people have sufficient time to prepare and solve.

<p><em>Knowing that human resources are important for the progress of a nation, it is necessary to have early preparation in order to be able to foster the future well. Supported also by the third Tri Dharma of Higher Educ</em><em>ation - </em>Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat<em> (PKM), which states that the responsibilities of a teacher include transferring, transforming, and applying knowledge from within the campus to the public. Based on this, the University of Bunda Mulia conducted PKM activities by raising the topic "Preparing the Future in the Early Age". The selection of the subject of this research that has been adjusted to the topic is the Bhakti Utama School students. The method used in this PKM is ice breaking, the delivery of material includes lectures, sharing experiences and video playback as well as a question and answer session that results in two-way communication. In short, the material presented is in the form of the importance of money management and preparation for further education, planning provides direction and reduces uncertainty, and how to change bad behavior and habits. Each session is thirty minutes long. This PKM activity is expected to be held again, of course with more varied topics.</em><em>             </em><em></em></p>

<div><p>Silat (a.k.a. <em>gayung</em>) tempur is a combat sports competition introduced to provide early preparation for the beginners to master the basic techniques of silat before they shift to silat olahraga (advanced level competition). The purpose of this study was to compare the performance of actions and outcome during action time between winners and losers in national silat tempur competition. The notational analysis focused on five different types of action categories in silat tempur; kick, punch, topple, block and catch. The action categories were divided into three outcomes; Hit Target (HT), Hit Elsewhere (HE) and Missing Opponent (MO). The researchers observed 19 female silat matches (each with three round games) aged 14 to 17-year-old. The observations were made through series of videos. Matched Paired <em>t</em>-test was used to analyse each action performances and outcome between winners and losers. Results showed that the winners performed more actions than the losers (<em>p</em> &lt; 0.05). The winners frequently used more kicks to attack their opponents (<em>p</em> &lt; 0.05). However, there were similar performance between winners and losers in punch, block, topple and catch categories (all actions, <em>p</em> &gt; 0.05). The winners performed more successful actions (HT) than the losers (<em>p</em> &lt; 0.05), particularly on kicks and blocks (both actions, <em>p</em> &lt; 0.05). The losers significantly missed (MO) more catch actions than the winners (<em>p</em> &lt; 0.05). The author concluded that kicks were the main actions that both exponents used during silat matches, with the winners performing more successful actions than the losers.</p></div>

Epilepsy is one of most common neurological disorders that affects people of all ages and can cause unpredictable seizures which may even cause death. The prediction of epileptic activities thus can have a great impact in avoiding fatal injuries through early preparation with medicines and also in improving the efficacy of medicines. A technique for early prediction of epileptic seizure from EEG signal is proposed in this paper. The pre-ictal period of epileptic seizure clearly depicts a start of seizure and comparing the changes in entropy of EEG signals in different brain regions during the pre-seizure period, the proposed technique could successfully predict the seizure using entropy analysis. Moreover, the region of the epileptic activities was also localized by dividing the total brain into four topographic regions and by calculating the entropy from this four zones separately. Thus, this proposed technique has the potential to help the clinical neurologists to investigate seizure detection and treat the patient in a better way with less supervision and better accuracy. Cardiac arrest is the most common cause of sudden death in athletes on the field of play. There are reports of cardiac arrest in athletes 1: 4000 to 1: 8000.Cardiac and non-cardiac causes have been implicated as a causes of death in the field of play. Pre-Participation Evaluation (PPE) has been recommended for primary prevention of cardiac arrest in athletes due to cardiac problems. Prevention of sudden cardiac death on the field of the play should be done by immediate, precise and correct treatment. Immediate, precise and correct treatment can be provided if medical management is well performed before and during the event. Medical management in sudden cardiac arrest treatment on the field of play consists of early preparation, emergency action plan, preparing equipment, personnel, training, communication, transportation and final preparation. An ideal treatment includes elements of the chain of survival from sudden cardiac arrest.ABSTRAK Henti jantung adalah penyebab kematian mendadak terbanyak pada atlet di lapangan permainan.
