Indonesia has diverse geographical conditions in each region that causes different impact in assessing real estate value, one of which is the active mountains especially in Ternate, North Maluku. This research discusses the experience of volcanic hazards that influences the model of cost valuation method in building. Drawing on technical calculation, the paper first examines the historical volcanic hazard at Mt. Gamalama, Ternate, Province North Maluku. This work also introduces in how volcanic vulnerability requires a specific approach to play complementary roles in appraising the real value of a building. Following cost approach method, by computing the specific formula to determine the characteristic of a building which directly related to its depreciation, this model predicts the implications of the expected value of a building which is typically located in the volcanic vulnerability.

At present time complex alloyed brasses are widely used for manufacturing of parts worked in fray conditions. The mechanical and service properties of this alloys are provided by presence of different structural constituents in the structure of alloys. The wear resistance is a basic property of complex alloyed brasses. The information on actual problems in the industrial production of cast bars, semi-finished products and [ pfrts]-непонятно] of complex alloyed brasses is presented in the article. In accordance with the increasing requirements of consumers to reliability and service life of parts the complex alloyed brass Cu62Zn31.6Mn3Al2Si0.8Ni0.4Cr0.2 was proposed as a material for production of parts. The development of technology of melting and semi-continuous casting of complex alloyed brass is an important problem. Moreover, for estimation of thermal contition of ingot and simulation of the process of solidification of the ingot, it is necessary to know thermal physic and physical characteristics of an alloy. Therefore, the research on determination of heat conductivity, heat capacity and density of complex alloyed brass, depending on temperature, was carried out. The obtained experimental data can be used to thermos-technical calculation of thermal contition of ingot and simulation of the process of solidification of ingot during semi-continuous casting for the purpose of determination of technological parameters of casting.


Determination of the bearing capacity of the elements damaged as a result of fire effect depends on the accuracy of the thermo-technical calculation. After this calculation, the distribution of the temperature field over the cross section of the element and the strength characteristics depending on it are determined. The temperature distribution over the cross section of the element depends on such parameters as heat capacity and thermal conductivity of parts of the section, the spatial position of the structure, its humidity. As part of this work, heat engineering calculations of the cross section of the reinforced concrete column were performed with various options of the cross section - with and without a protective layer, taking into account the thermal performance of all cross section components (reinforcement, concrete and corrosion) and excluding corrosion and reinforcement. Based on the obtained temperature fields, the bearing capacity and its percentage ratio were calculated. The main conclusion is that the bearing capacity of the centrally compressed corrosion-damaged elements is significantly influenced by the factor of separation of the protective layer of concrete, as well as thermal-technical characteristics of materials.

As an education institute, pesantren (a classical boarding school) has many of people. One of the primary needs is water for drinking, cooking, washing, and for ritual like jinabat bathing and wudhu. However, in some cases, it is not easy to get some clean water in pesantren and usually the water is bad in its quality. One pesantren perhaps used water ponding with poor quality, not sanitary and so not hygienis. Due to this problem, pesantren should apply an appropriate technology in its water supply system. After observation on water sources, transmission, distribution, pesantren must choose and fix its water treatment train. The option is an inovative of Roughing Filtration and Slow Sand Filter. Both of the filters potentially treat the water and reduct the turbidity of the water sources used to drinking, bathing, wudhu, cooking and so on. To realize the planning, members of pesantren should work together from the start of the project, i.e in initial idea, field survey, technical calculation, construction time, operation and maintenance. The fund or construction cost should be handled together.

The technical calculation of the need for recharge wells to reduce peak floods has not been fully supported yet the need for recharge wells in big cities especially in Indonesia is very urgent. Some recharge well methods are Horton, Sunjoto, HMTL-ITB, Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Forestry, Indonesian National Standard, Association for Rainwater Storage and Infiltration Technology, and California Storm-water Quality Association. The hypothetical test of recharge wells at the depth and texture of a particular soil is different from the observed infiltration recharge hence it needs to have a field test of recharge wells for different soil texture. With good diameter, soil permeability, and water depth variables, it is expected that the infiltration recharge equation in the well can be empirically better suited to the performance of the recharge wells.

Medium pressure water asphalt heating equipment and hot oil asphalt heating equipment widely used in asphalt concrete mixture are using indirect heating method. In indirect asphalt heating device design, heating coil full of heating medium in asphalt tank and asphalt delivery pipe to next technological tank or asphalt concrete mixing device are key parts for the heating technology. Based on heat-transfer mechanism of heating medium, medium pressure water and hot oil have been compared, and medium pressure water has been chosen as heating medium for better character in heat transmission capability and efficiency. By thermo technical calculation, diameter,length and layout of heating coil have been decided, and structure of asphalt delivery pipe has been designed. Equipment running effect shows pipeline of medium pressure water system is designed reasonably and goal temperature of asphalt can be reached.
