Background:This paper discusses the wiper trip effects on well instability in shale formations.Objectives:Problematic shale interval sections have been studied for the time spent on the wiper trip operations. Lifting efficiency and well wall instability change with the time analyzed. Detailed drilling operation, formation heterogeneity, rheological and filtration characteristics of polymer water-based mud are discussed. Physical and chemical properties of the drilled formation and drilling fluid are also studied.Materials and Methods:Wiper trips are analyzed using a typical drawing program to find the relations between the most controllable parameters. For that, two calculation models have been implemented to find the net rising cutting particles velocity in the annular. The relation between the net rising velocity and wiper trips is analyzed. Laboratory works have been done to support the findings of field work.Results:Strong relations have been found between the wiper trip impacts and lithology types of the penetrated shale.Conclusion:A modified drilling program is proposed in relation to changes in casing setting depth and drilling fluid properties that make the operations more efficient in cost and time.

In speaking of modern higher education, we mean an educational system that allows young specialists to fit into the labour market. Such specialists need to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills not only to perform work on the project, but also to attack the problem creatively. The task of higher school is to provide the necessary set of knowledge and skills that will allow young specialists to work successfully and to be on the march. The language of communication of engineers is drawings. Computer drawings allow reducing the working time considerably in the development, production, remediation, transfer, and retention. Therefore, the ability to use drawing program for working with images is necessary. Despite all the powerful design tools and visualization, a key moment in computer design is the documentation of the product and its design in accordance with accepted standards that is considered to be an integral part of the design process. After the successful development of a 2D environment, the expert can confidently move on to 3D modeling that facilitates the receipt of drawings and models at times and gives you the opportunity to inspect the settings of the virtual model and, if necessary, to improve them significantly. Usage of different CAD-systems for communication engineers- partners is a reality. Therefore it is very useful for a specialist to be able to use different programs. Modern graphic programs (AutoCAD, SolidEdge) have many similar opportunities, but they also have some differences. Knowledge of several drawing programs is necessary and reduces the amount of time for the skills development for usage of each CAD-system is the problem of the future engineer. The article compares two different programs and the possibility of using the both CAD-systems for working with drawings.

Estimating the advantages and disadvantages of Matlab/Simulink, Visual Basic (VB) and AutoCAD software, the model of the working process of internal combustion (IC) engine was built based on Matlab/Simulink, and the drawing programs for engine structure were written with the parametric design language AutoLISP. A user-friendly VB interface of inputting parameter was established, realizing VB coupled with AutoCAD and Matlab/Simulink software. Calling the AutoLISP drawing program nested in the AutoCAD and Matlab/Simulink software via VB, integration of the simulation and analysis of the engine and the CAD drawing of its body can be achieved. Its more efficient to analyze the performance and optimize the structure parameters of engines.

A method of automatic drawing and dimensioning for hydraulic flat steel gates, which determines the projection of 3D model and data in two-dimensional space by data graphic method, which orientates by local coordinate system, which automatic dimensions by Brep and location dimension, is presented. Automatic drawing program is written by VB.Net and C# on Inventor API, which can be directly used to practical engineering.
