Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification as a Biological Robot

The COVID-19 pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has led to deaths worldwide and decimation of the global economy. Despite its tremendous impact, the origin of SARS-CoV-2 has remained mysterious and controversial. The natural origin theory, although widely accepted, lacks substantial support. The alternative theory that the virus may have come from a research laboratory is, however, censored on peer-reviewed scientific journals. Nonetheless, SARS-CoV-2 shows biological characteristics that are inconsistent with a naturally occurring, zoonotic virus. In this report, the authors describe the genomic, structural, medical, and literature evidence, which, when considered together, strongly contradicts the natural origin theory. The evidence shows that SARS-CoV2 should be a laboratory product created by using bat coronaviruses ZC45 and/or ZXC21 as a template and/or backbone. Building upon the evidence, the authors further postulate a synthetic route for SARS-CoV-2, demonstrating that the lab-creation of this coronavirus is convenient and can be accomplished in approximately six months.

The case of the Covid-19 pandemic caused a slowdown in economic growth in Indonesia, which in turn resulted in a decrease in the amount of tax revenue, which eventually led the government to provide tax incentives to taxpayers. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a tremendous impact on all countries in the world, including Indonesia. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) announced that the Indonesian economy experienced a slowdown in the first quarter of 2020, which was 2.97%. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2019, Indonesia's economic growth was recorded at minus 2.41%. This study aims to develop a method of tax revenue that has been adapted to the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses an exploratory method with a quantitative approach. The data used are the annual reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018 and 2019. The sample selection method uses a purposive sampling method and obtained 233 samples for 2018 and 227 samples for 2019. With the results in the form of suggestions given in improving Post-covid-19 tax revenues, namely (1) Optimization of the withholding tax (WHT) mechanism, (2) Imposition of Final PPh for non-SME taxpayers, and (3) Efficiency of tax collection costs. Technology has a tremendous impact on human life. The positive impact is that it makes it easier for humans to transact with the emergence of e-wallet in the midst of human life. In addition, there are negative impacts from technological developments, namely the shift in human and technological mentality as well as influencing consumptive lifestyles. Technological developments must be followed by an understanding of the philosophy of science in order to realize one's limitations and not be trapped in it and to avoid intellectual arrogance. This study aims to determine the effect of e-wallet on the consumptive lifestyle of Generation Z, especially English department students at Airlangga University. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the effect of e-wallet on the consumptive lifestyle of English department students at Airlangga University?. The research method used is the survey method and the interview method. The results show that e-wallet has an important role in people's lives, and e-wallet has an influence on the consumptive lifestyle of Airlangga university students. Most of the respondents use an e-wallet for shopping and use it more than 5 times a month. Respondents like to use e-wallet because it can provide several advantages, easy to use, practical, have lots of promos and benefits are given, and safe. Many respondents believe in the e-wallet facility.

The world has experienced a tremendous impact over the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the impacts is the change in the learning system from offline classes to online classes. Not a few studies say that online learning impacts students' psychology, one of which is academic stress. This study examines the effect of academic stress on positive mental health in college students during the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 76 psychology students in Central Java, Indonesia, participated in this study. The results show a significant effect of academic stress on positive mental health in students during online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Analisis Kebijakan Pengembangan Pendidikan (Studi Pembelajaran Daring (Online) di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Covid-19 has had a tremendous impact, especially in the field of education, both higher education and basic education. One of the impacts of the covid-19 pandemic is the implementation of a learning system that is carried out online (on a network) from their respective homes which tends to use technology as a learning medium, sometimes there are obstacles in its application. In addition, several obstacles that arise in the implementation of online learning include the first, the difficulties of teachers in managing online learning and are still focused on completing the curriculum. Second, not all parents are able to optimally accompany their children to study at home because they have to work or have the ability to be a child's learning companion. Third, the students also have difficulty concentrating on studying from home as well as increasing saturation which has the potential to cause health problems. Distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge in education in Indonesia. Some of these challenges or obstacles are in the form of unequal mastery of science and technology among teachers or educators, problems with internet access which causes not all students to participate, and the high cost of learning quotas. Therefore, synergy, serious, systematic, and sustainable efforts are needed from all relevant parties including families, communities, and the government to resolve existing educational problems. All of these improvement efforts can of course only take place properly if there are government policies that are a shared view of life and policies that can provide solutions to existing problems related to the COVID-19 pandemic, in this case the government is of course the front line in making and determining policies. solution education.

A Qualitative Study of the Impact of COVID-19 on Hospice and Home-Based Palliative Care in Taiwan

COVID-19 has had a tremendous impact on individuals and health care, particularly among those with serious illnesses. Although Taiwan initially reported low rates of COVID-19 (20.7 cases per million in 2020), by early 2021 the Alpha variant began spreading in Taiwan, which went into a soft lockdown from May to July. This study aimed to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on Hospice and Home-Based Palliative Care (HBPC) patients, family, and medical team member in Taiwan during different COVID-related time points. From November 2020 to May 2021, we conducted semi-structured interviews with 2 patient, 5 caregivers, and 8 medical team members in the hospice and HBPC setting to elicit their views about the impact of COVID-19 on care. Content analysis was used to guide the analysis of themes. Two researchers independently coded transcripts and met to reconcile codes. Results showed varying impact across the time points. In 2020, patients, caregivers, medical team members felt little impact of COVID-19. However, in 2021, HBPC caregivers reduced the frequency of HBPC visits to lower the household COVID-19 infection risk. Hospice and HBPC team members reported that more caregivers selected HBPC over hospice. They also observed an increase in complicated grief among family survivors following the soft lockdown. The impact of the pandemic on homecare provision increased as prevalence of COVID-19 increased, impacting care and quality of hospice and HBPC. Further research is needed to better understand the impact of the pandemic on the quality of hospice /HBPC and grief experiences.

Pengaruh Job Insecurity terhadap Turnover Intention dengan Employee Morale dan Psychological Strain sebagai Variabel Mediasi pada Profesi Keperawatan di Jakarta

The Covid-19 pandemic that has been going on since March 2020 in Indonesia until the time this research was conducted has had a tremendous impact on all industries, including health services in general and hospitals in particular. The economic impact on health care institutions caused by the decline in patients at the beginning of the pandemic and the necessity to prepare personal protective equipment so that they must carry out efficiency and the risk of contracting disease for health workers and workers in hospitals can create feelings of insecurity (job insecurity). These feelings affect work morale (employee morale) and psychological barriers (psychological strain) of nurses as the frontline and can trigger a desire to resign (turnover intention). The online questionnaire was filled out by 110 nurses who worked in hospitals in Jakarta, Indonesia in the period leading up to the 1-year period of the Covid-19 pandemic (February-April 2021) faced by Indonesia. Classical Assumption Test with SPSS and PLS-SEM was used to determine the effect of job insecurity on turnover intention with employee morale and psychological strain as mediating variables. From the test results, it was found that job insecurity positively affects the turnover intention of nurses who work in hospitals in Jakarta. Employee morale mediates the relationship between job insecurity and turnover intention, while psychological strain is not proven to mediate this relationship. In conclusion, the turnover intention of nurses working in hospitals in Jakarta 1 year after the pandemic can be influenced by job insecurity conditions. Hospital management and policy makers also need to consider the moral and psychological aspects of health workers, especially nurses as one of the health workers on the front line
