VALUASI TANAMAN OBAT DI DESA PETUK BUKIT KECAMATAN RAKUMPIT KOTA PALANGKA RAYA, KALIMANTAN TENGAH (Medical Plant Valuation at Petuk Bukit Village, Rakumpit Sub District, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan)

The aim of this study to analyze the economic value of medical plants at Petuk BukitVillage, Rakumpit Sub District, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan. This researchwas conducted from June to August 2019 in the Rakumpit sub-district of CentralKalimantan, precisely in Petuk Bukit village. The primary data were collected using asurvey method. Data analyze to predicted the economic value, income levels, andwelfare level. The result showed that there are 12 types of medical plants that potentialyhave economic value. The income of Petuk Bukit Village from medical plants and nonmedical plants business were obtained Rp. 3.342.420.000/year. The correlation ofspearman is 0.45. The income level from medical plants is moderat to the welfare ofsociety.Keywords: Business, medical plants, Petuk Bukit Village

VALUATION OF COMPANIES BASED ON REAL OPTION APPROACH

Traditional way of companies valuation based on discounted cash-flows do not consider the value of flexibility that managers can create. The objective of this article is the presentation of the theoretical aspects of companies valuation with real option’s approach and DCF method. The case study regards the power plant valuation. Author took assumptions that valuation method based only on DCF do not considers in proper way the flexibility connected to future companies activity. The development of valuation method by real option approach can complete these deficiencies in random environment.

Effects of compost media on growth and flowering of parviflorous garden pansy (Viola x wittrockiana Gams.). Part II. Plant flowering and decorative value

The purpose of the studies was to determine the effects of media containing composts from sewage sludge and potato pulp on the flowering and decorative value of 'Butterfly Yellow with Blotch' parviflorous pansy. In the experiment 14 potting media, including 12 media made of 4 composts, were tested. The percentage of compost mixed with sphagnum peat was 25%, 50% and 75%. The components of particular composts were as follows: I - municipal sewage sludge 70% and straw 30%; II - municipal sewage sludge 70% and sawdust 30%; III - municipal sewage sludge 35%, potato pulp 35% and straw 30%; IV - municipal sewage sludge 35%, potato pulp 35% and sawdust 30%. Two control potting media were used: 1 - sphagnum peat with Osmocote Exact Lo-Start at the dose 5 g×dm^-3 and 2 - sphagnum peat with Azofoska at the dose 2.5 g×dm^-3. There was no top-dressing during cultivation. The pansies for whose cultivation a slow-release fertiliser was used turned out to have most flowers, but the plants cultivated in compost with peat at the ratio 1:1 had equally abundant flowering. At the generative stage, the pansies in control media were the most decorative and those growing in 25% of compost I, 75% of compost II and 50% of compost III and IV. On the basis of plant valuation scale, quality assessment and the abundance of flowering it was found that the media containing 50% of composts were optimal for pansy cultivation.

Using RIAM for Optimizing Reactor Vessel Head Leak Failure Mode Maintenance Strategies

A cost-benefit-risk study of the best (in terms of plant valuation) long-term strategy for canopy seal weld leakage control and prevention including a span of options for reactor vessel head J-Groove weld failures is performed. The range of options goes from the “do nothing” option up to replacement of the reactor vessel head with new control rod drive mechanisms. The results are presented in form of net present values for the options cost and include uncertainties for long-term costs associated with the options activities and prediction of failure rates for control rod drive mechanisms canopy seals and J-Groove welds. Results of this study rely on catching leaks during an outage and not during operation (mid-cycle). The consequence associated with a mid-cycle leak is much higher than for one found during an outage. This tends to indicate rigorous visual inspections during outages to ensure repairs are made during refueling outages. Thus, the effect of forced outage due to mid-cycle leak detection is not included to avoid strongly biasing the results in favor of reactor vessel head replacement.
