Purpose: This study explores the complexity of developing a sustainable small and medium industry (SMI) through a conceptual model that integrates lean and green manufacturing principles.Design/methodology/approach: This model includes a systems diagram that illustrates the structure of the interconnected variable and the interrelationships between goals, inputs, processes, and outputs required to achieve a system’s goals by using both lean and green principles. The diagram uses causal loop diagram logic from systems thinking based on the literature review, multi-actor analysis, observations, and focus group discussions.Findings: Combining the efficiency benefits from lean principles and better environmental effectiveness from green principles would help to achieve sustainability. A conceptual structural map could support the integration processes by illustrating the variables, multi-actors, and multi-indicators required to achieve sustainability.Research limitations/implications: The conceptual model highlights the necessary linkage between lean and green practices that would help SMI researchers and decision-makers to navigate their activities in achieving sustainability.Originality/value: There is currently little discussion at the SMI level from a multi-actor perspective. The systems diagram offers a comprehensive picture that is the basis for further discussion of the complexity of integrating lean and green principles.

Archive management system based on modern information technology as the support, the archives information as management object, the archives work as the core and implement management information system, database design is the core work of the development of archives management system work, this article launches the research from four aspects according to the database design process. First, from the business requirements, functional requirements, performance requirements, such as security requirements for demand analysis; Second, according to the result of requirement analysis, conceptual design using E-R diagram; Third, converting E-R diagram logic structure supported by the database management system; Fourth, for the logic model to determine the storage structure and access method. In this paper, it based on the relational database design, a relational database with full-text database is the development direction of the future.

PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri pesawat terbang. PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) terdiri dari beberapa departemen, dimana salah satu departemen yaitu departemen K3LH-DP yang bertempat di Direktorat Produksi PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero). Departemen K3LH-DP mempunyai sebuah gudang, dimana gudang tersebut digunakan untuk menyimpan barang-barang K3 yang diperlukan Direktorat Produksi di dalam menjalankan proses produksinya. Dalam menjalankan sistem manajemen pengendalian barang gudang, data dicatat dan diproses dengan software Microsoft Excel yang belum mempunyai integrasi data. Perancangan sistem informasi yang terintegrasi dapat dilakukan dengan Metode Structure System Analysis and Design (SSAD). Metode Structure System Analysis and Design (SSAD) memiliki fase-fase, yaitu fase perancangan sistem, fase analisis sistem, fase desain sistem secara umum, fase desain sistem secara terinci dan fase implementasi. Pada perancangan sistem informasi gudang K3LH-DP di PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), hasil rancangan sistem basis data dari sistem informasi gudang disajikan dalam bentuk data flow diagram logic. Rancangan sistem informasi disajikan dalam bentuk conceptual data model (CDM), logical data model (LDM) dan physical data model (PDM). Rancangan prototype sistem informasi disajikan dalam bentuk software Microsoft Access.
