Inheritance of resistance of spring barley to Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei in F1 and variability in F2 in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

The nature of the inheritance of resistance to Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei in the crosses of genotypes of spring barley in F1 and transgressive variability in F2 populations are investigated. Inheritance of the trait of resistance to Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei in F1, by hybridization of genotypes of spring barley with known genes of resistance to Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei in European varieties Eunova (mlo11) and Barke (mlo9), which are located on chromosome 1H, was positively dominated. Inheritance of the F1 trait in Aspen (mlo11) and Adonis (mlo9) cultivars was partially positive. The influence of parental pairs for hybridization on the indicators of the degree of phenotypic dominance, hypothetical and true heterosis was established. Resistance to Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei in F1 hybrids was observed heterosis (positive dominance) in fve hybrid combinations (hp = 1.1–1.9 %): Barke/Badoryi, Barke/Sanktrum, Parnas/Rostentsii, Badoryi/ Barke, Eunova/Zvershennia. Hypothetical heterosis (Ht) in F1 was observed in 13 of 16 hybrids (from +2.8 % to +97.6 %). A positive value of true heterosis (Htb) in F1 was observed in 15 hybrids out of 16 (from +1.9 % to +98.8 %). Inheritance of the trait of resistance to Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei in all studied hybrids was influenced by the cytoplasm of the mother plant, except for the hybrid Eunova / Triangel, where the influence of the nuclear apparatus was detected. Hybrids were found in the F 2 population with high resistance to Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei, which exceeded the parental components, which indicates a signifcant shaping process and the possibility of selection on the basis of the studied trait. The degree of positive transgression ranged from 16.0 % to 73.0 % in hybrids Aspen / Skarlet, Adonis / Vanja, Barke / Badoryi, Barke / Sanktrum, Eunova / Triangel and Eunova / Zvershennia, where highly resistant varieties were used for the mother form. The combinations in which the frequency of transgression was observed in more than 50.0 % of plants are hybrids: Eunova / Triangel, Barke / Sanktrum, Eunova / Zvershennia, Parnas / Rostentsii and Barke / Badoryi. ЕФЕКТИВНІСТЬ БАКОВИХ СУМІШЕЙ ПЕСТИЦИДІВ ПРОТИ ШКІДНИКІВ ТА ХВОРОБ У ТЕХНОЛОГІЇ ВИРОЩУВАННЯ ПШЕНИЦІ ОЗИМОЇ В ПІВНІЧНОМУ СТЕПУ УКРАЇНИ

Однією із причин зниження врожаю зерна пшениці озимої паралельно із забур’яненістю є поши-реність та розвиток хвороб і шкідників при її вирощуванні. На процеси посилення або послаблення стійкості пшениці озимої до пошкодження шкідниками і ураження хворобами в сучасному землероб-стві степової зони має значний вплив загальний рівень культури землеробства та інтегрованої сис-теми захисту рослин, одним зі складників якої є сучасні засоби захисту рослин. Обмеження поши-рення хвороб і шкідників за допомогою засобів захисту рослин – це важливий агрозахід, результати-вність якого залежить від правильного вибору інсектицидів і фунгіцидів з досить широкого асорти-менту препаратів та дотриманням нормативних регламентів їх застосування для максимального впливу на шкідливі об’єкти, не забруднюючи при цьому навколишнє середовище. Рівень ушкодженос-ті всіма видами шкідників та ураження хворобами пшениці озимої був загалом на низькому рівні та в 15–20 разів нижчим за економічний поріг шкодочинності (ЕПШ) по всіх шкідливих об’єктах, тоді як ЕПШ для шведської мухи (Oscinella) становить 10–15 личинок на м², хлібної жужелиці (Zabrus tenebrioides) до 2–3 шт/м², а клопа шкідливої черепашки (Eurygaster integriceps Put.) – 5–6 шт./м². ЕПШ ураження септоріозом (Septoria tritici Rob. et Desm.) становить 5 % ураженої площі посівів пшениці, борошнистої роси (Erysiphe graminis (DC)) – 10–15 %, фузаріозу (Fusarium graminearum Schwabe, Fusarium culmorum) також 10–15 % уражених рослин тощо. Максимальну ефективність у боротьбі з хворобами рослин пшениці озимої забезпечують бакові суміші препаратів фунгіциду Фалькону – 0,6 л/га з гербіцидами та фунгіциду Титулу Дуо – 0,2 л/га з гербіцидами, що призводило до практично повного знешкодження (100 %) різних хвороб. Поєднання фунгіцидів Фалькон – 0,6 л/га та Титул Дуо – 0,2 л/га з гербіцидами Монітор (20 г/га) та Примадона (0,8 л/га) покращувало ефектив-ність фунгіцидів. Адже чисті посіви від бур’янів мають вищу стійкість до хвороб через кращу аера-цію стеблостою, нижчу тут вологість повітря, а, як наслідок, гірші умови для розвитку хвороб. Максимально високі показники ефективності в боротьбі зі шкідниками забезпечує інсектоакаріцид Кінфос – 0,35 л/га у поєднанні з гербіцидом нового покоління Примадона (0,8 л/га), що забезпечує практично 100 % знищення шкідників. Порівняння даних контрольного варіанту без засобів захисту рослин із внесенням інсектоакарицидних та фунгіцидних бакових сумішей з гербіцидами засвідчує про повну необхідність використання зазначених інсектицидів у боротьбі зі шкідниками та хворобами в посівах пшениці озимої.

Biological activity of benzoxazolinone and benzoxazolinthione derivatives

The article presents the herbicidal, defoliating, fungicidal properties of the synthesized derivatives of benzoxazolinones and benzoxazolinethions. It was shown that 3-alkylbenzoxazolinones, 3-alkyl-6-halobenzoxazolinones and 2-alkylthiobenzoxazoles exhibit herbicidal action during the growing season of plants, and they also cause cotton leaves to drop up to 70%. It was found that 3-alkylbenzoxazolinones and 2-alkylthiobenzoxazoles exhibited fungicidal activity against the pathogen, Fugarium oxyporum and Verticillum dahlia. Among them, 2-methylthiobenzoxazole inhibited spores of the fungi Verticillum dahlia by 96.4% and benzoxazolyl-2-carbamic acid butyl ester by 65%. These compounds exhibit fungicidal action against the pathogens of powdery mildew on cucumbers - Erysiphe cichoraceorum and powdery mildew on wheat - Erysiphe graminis, approaching the control Karatan. Apparently, these compounds are chemicals of contact action.

Sources of valuable crop features of spring barley varieties for breeding in the central forest-steppe of Ukraine

The population of Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei Em. Marchal, Bipolaris sorokiniana Shoem. and Drechslera teres Ito. was found to be the most widespread in the central forest-steppe of Ukraine. Drechslera graminea Ito and Puccinia hordei Otth. were not common. For an average of 7 years of research, the sources of the disease complex have been identified on a provocative background. Resistance (lesions up to 10.0 %) to two diseases – Erysiphe graminis and Drechslera teres were characterized by the following varieties: Etyket, Obolon, Parnas, Khadar, Edem, Pivdennyi, Koloryt (Ukraine), Josefin (France), Ebson, Malz, Aspen (Czech Republic), Barke, Bojos, Breemar, Brenda, Landora, Madeira, Danuta, Adonis, Сlass (Germany), Vivaldi, Eunova, Secuva (Austria). Complex resistance (lesions up to 10.0 %) to three diseases – Erysiphe graminis, Bipolaris sorokiniana and Drechslera teres were characterized by the following varieties: Aspekt, Dokaz (Ukraine), Hanka, Kuburas (Germany), STN 115 (Poland). The recessive genes mlo: mlo9, mlo11 and the combination of genes: mlo + Mla13 + Ml (La), mlo + Mla1 and mlo + Mla12 have been shown to be highly effective for Erysiphe graminis for a long time. High resistance and resistance were characterized by varieties protected by these resistance genes: Adonis, Barke, Bojos, Aspen, Сlass, Danuta, Eunova, Josefin, Breemar і Madeira. In spring barley varieties that showed disease resistance, structural analysis was performed by plant height, number of stems, spike length, number of grains, and weight of spikelets. In terms of length, number of grains and weight of grain of the main ear, the following varieties were better than the standard: Kuburas, Koloryt, Troichan, Barke, Danuta, Hanka, Ievroprestyzh, Sanktrum and others. Dedicated sources and donors of resistant varieties of spring barley to common pathogens can be used for immunity selection. Selected varieties by yield are the material for the selection of spring barley as a source of valuable features. These varieties are involved in hybridization. Măsuri de protecţie integrată asupra maladiilor foliare la cerealele de toamnă

This work presents the results of investigations in the frame state testing the products for phytosanitary use Lab 05-F, SC, Lab 06–F, SE, Duo SCC, Virtuoz EC, Mirage 45 EC as fungicides on autumn cereals crops during the period of vegetation of 2017-2018 years. It was established the ethyological component, grade of intensity and the frequency of the phytopathogenic agents in the period of vegetation at autumn wheat and barley as they are: Erysiphe graminis f. sp. tritici, s.p. hordei, Puccinia anomala, Puccinia recondita, Helminthosporium gramineum, Helminthosporium tritici-repentiss Helminthosporium teres, Septoria graminum, Septoria nodorum anomala, Fusarium graminearum. On the base of the experimental results obtained the preparations tested had a high biological effiency in the combat of leaf diseases at autumn cereals in critical phases of the periods of vegetation. have been included in the integrate protection system.

Synthesis and fungicidal activities of perfluoropropan-2-yl-based novel quinoline derivatives

A series of novel perfluoropropan-2-yl-based quinoline derivatives was designed and synthesized utilizing tebufloquin as the lead compound. The structures of all the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectroscopic data 1HNMR, MS and elemental analysis. The results of bioassay indicated that these compounds exhibited potent fungicidal activities against Erysiphe graminis. Especially, compound 8c displayed excellent activity with EC50 value at 1.48 mg / L, which was better than that of the commercialized fungicide --- tebufloquin. The structure-activity relationship for these new compounds was also discussed.

Studies on the occurrence of fungi in a whea-field. II. Fungi on the phylloplane and fungal air-spora

Se compararon las especies fúngicas detectadas en el filoplano del trigo durante su ciclo de vida con el registro de esporas aéreas ambientales en la zona norte de Italia. Del filoplano se aislaron 68 especies pertenecientes a 35 géneros, que incluyeron: Alternaria alternata, Aureobasidium pullulans var. pullullans Cladosporium dodosporioides y Epicoccum purpurascens (presentes todos los meses). Se registraron ocasionalmente unos pocos patógenos tales como Drechslera anamorfo de Cochliobolus Sativus, Erysiphe graminis y Septoria tritici.En general, se aprecia una transición gradual en las especies desde el inicio del desarrollo de la senescencia de la hoja con un aparente cambio de la población fúngica en abrilLos géneros dominantes en el aire que mostraron un alto peak de concentración entre junio y agosto corresponden a Cladosporium, Alternaria, Epicoccum y Fusarium.Destacamos la gran abundancia de hongos en abril, con una relativa baja concentración en el aire; en junio y julio, la situación fue a la inversa.
