Kebisingan menimbulkan beberapa dampak pada kesehatan. Selain berdampak pada gangguan pendengaran. intensitas bising yang tinggi juga dapat mengakibatkan hilangnnya konsentrasi, hilangnya keseimbangan dan disorientasi, kelelahan, gangguan komunikasi, gangguan tidur, gangguan pelakasaan tugas, gangguan faal tubuh, serta adanya efek visceral, seperti perubahaan frekuensi jantung atau peningkatan denyut nadi, perubahaan tekanan darah dan tingkat pengeluaran keringat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas kebisingan terhadap gangguan pendengaran, gangguan psikologis dan gangguan komunikasi pada pekerja di PT. Maruki International Indonesia Makassar tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional study, dengan sampel 32 pekerja secara sampling jenuh dari pekerja Factory 1 dan 2 di PT. Maruki International Indonesia Makassar. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, alat sound level meter untuk pengukuran intensitas kebisingan. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% (α=0.05). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah ada pengaruh intensitas kebisingan terhadap gangguan pendengaran dengan nilai p = 0.022, ada pengaruh intensitas kebisingan terhadap gangguan psikologis dengan nilai p = 0.017, dan tidak ada pengaruh intensitas kebisingan terhadap gangguan komunikasi dengan nilai p = 0.474. Disarankan kepada pimpinan untuk mengutamakan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja dengan lebih meningkatkan upaya pengendalian kebisingan yang sudah dilakukan dan menambah preventif lainnya seperti pelatihan mengenai penggunaan APT (Alat Pelindung Telinga) pada saat bekerja di lingkungan yang bising.

<p>The density of motorized vehicles, especially motorcycles on the highway, is getting higher. However, in line with the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, it has an impact on the decrease in the number of motorized vehicles on the highway. The density of motorcycles has a significant effect on noise, from all analysis calculations, the largest equation is obtained on the fourth day of the study, the second point (Sound Level Meter 2), with a contribution of 32.42%. Obtained the calculation below, y = 63.36 + 0.002x1. This equation means that if there is no decrease in motorcycle density, the noise level in SLM2 is 63.36 dBA. If there is a motorcycle density also has a significant effect on noise. The second largest equation was obtained on the third day of research at the third point (Sound Level Meter 3) with a contribution of 36.21% based on the equation calculation below, y = 60.24 + 0.001x1. The meaning of the above equation is that if there is an increase in the density of the motorcycle, the noise in the SLM3 is 60.24 dBA. The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world, Indonesia is also getting its effects, especially the very large Bogor district. The rapid spread of Covid-19 has changed the pattern of life for the people of Bogor, especially students who initially go to school every morning, now go to school and study online.</p>

Hipertensi adalah suatu peningkatan abnormal dari tekanan darah dalam pembuluh darah arteri yang mengangkut darah dari jantung dan memompa keseluruh jaringan dan organ-organ tubuh secara terus-menerus. Intensitas kebisingan dapat menjadi faktor risiko terjadinya kejadian hipertensi pada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara intensitas kebisingan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada masyarakat di pemukiman Kelurahan 26 Ilir Kecamatan Bukit Kecil Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara Purposive Sampling sebanyak 105 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Mini InScience Pro SQ-100 Sound Level Meter dan Aneroid Sphygmomanometer. Data dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square, dan multivariat dengan menggunakan uji regresi logistik ganda dan model faktor risiko. Hasil bivariat menunjukan ada hubungan antara intensitas kebisingan (p-value 0,000), usia (p-value 0,032), aktivitas fisik (pvalue 0,038), jarak rumah (p-value 0,004), barrier (p-value 0,001), dan tidak ada hubungan antara riwayat keluarga (p-value 0,828), merokok (p-value 0,782), serta keberadaan tanaman hias (p-value 0,058) terhadap kejadian hipertensi, dan pada analisis multivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara intensitas kebisingan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada masyarakat (p-value = 0,013) setelah dikontrol dengan variabel usia, riwayat keluarga, jarak rumah, dan barrier. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat yang terpapar kebisingan tinggi secara terus menerus dapat meningkatkan risiko untuk mengalami hipertensi. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah diharapkan masyarakat rutin beraktivitas fisik setidaknya 10 menit setiap harinya, menambah barrier serta menanam tanaman hias.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa tingkat getaran dan kebisingan pada Equipment Vibrating screen crusher FC 02 pada PT. MIFA Bersaudara. Getaran diukur dengan menggunakan alat vibration meter, kebisingan diukur dengan sound level meter dengan tipe digital. Pengukuran dilakukan pada sumbu x,y dan z pada setiap titik pengukuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai tingkat getaran pada vibrating screen crusher FC 02 pada sumbu x dengan nilai velocity 28,56 mm/s, sumbu y nilai 29,82 mm/s dan sumbu z nilai velocity 25,46 mm/s. Sedangkan nilai Acceleration pada sumbu x sebesar 20,7 m/s2 nilai 30,86 m/s2 pada sumbu y dan z sebesar 21,42 m/s2. Sedangkan nilai kebisingan menujukan bahwa nilai rata-rata pada sisi kanan menujukan sebesar 99,6 dBA pada sisi kanan dan pada sisi kiri sebesar 101,7 dBA. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah yaitu dengan cara tidak mengoperasikan vibrating screen crusher FC 02 melebihi batas maksimum yang di anjurkan 60 dBA dan maksimum yang diperbolehkan yaitu 70 dBA sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya permasalahan kenyamanan, kesehatan, dan keselamatan kerja. Operator berserta karyawan disarankan berada dilokasi tersebut tidak lebih dari 15-30 menit, jika lebih dari waktu tersebut harus menggunakan earmuff safety.

The use of diesel engines in commercial vehicles is still the main choice and the most widely used. The increasing number of commercial vehicles that use diesel engines can pollute the environment and cause noise. In order to reduce exhaust emissions and noise in diesel engines, a particulate filter diesel technology was created which is installed in commercial vehicle diesel engines. This study uses an experimental method. The test was carried out on a Mitsubishi L300 commercial vehicle diesel engine type 4D56 4 cylinder with a cylinder capacity of 2477 cc. The diesel particulate filter technology uses a half honeycomb model made from galvalume plates, with variations in the addition of filters in the form of glass wool of 50 grams, 100 grams, 150 grams, 200 grams, and 250 grams. Testing the exhaust emissions of a diesel engine using a TEN Automotive Equipment Innova 2000 multigas analyzer with a smoketester. Sound noise testing using a sound level meter test tool LT Lutron SL-4001. The test results with the addition of diesel particulate filter technology can reduce exhaust emissions and sound noise. The use of diesel particulate filter technology can reduce exhaust emissions in the form of Particulate Matter (PM) most optimally at the addition of a 100 gram filter with a decrease of 45.9%. The most optimal reduction in noise is the addition of a 50 gram filter with a decrease of 26.5%.

The investigation allowed the evaluation of the levels of noise in dedicated factories to the manufacture of decorativas resin figures, located in a population of the north of the Municipality of Toluca State Capital of Mexico. The study was developed with the objective to count on a reference mechanism to prevent risks to the health derived from the level with exhibition to the noise generated in this type of facilities, in such a way that the proprietors can protect to their personnel guaranteeing the development of their activities and not see themselves involved in labor demands. The investigation was limited the study of a single factory solely that is representative of the activities that are made normally in all the factories located in the zone, of which exist more than 50. For the measurements of the noise level, an integrating sound level meter was used type 2, of mark CEL Instruments® model CEL-328 and for the calibration of this was used an acoustic calipers mark CEL Instruments®, model CEL-282, series 2/11616221; the measurements and calibration were made taking in account the effective legislation in the matter of noise according to the Official Norm Mexicana NOM-011- STPS-2001, Conditions of Security and Hygiene in the Centers of Work Where Noise Is generated. Of the analysis of results it was observed that the level of noise in the areas of rectified and music, was with a NSCEAT, greater of 90 dB and in the remaining areas was smaller, but require of preventive measures since all presented/displayed 80 a greater NSCE of dB. In general the level of exhibition to the noise (NER) of the factory is of 86,6 dB, this value according to the norm applied in this study is necessary to implement some measures that allow to diminish the levels of noise with the purpose of avoiding labor diseases derived from the noise.

In this study, the researchers measured cicadas' sound waves, considering that cicadas are mostly found in rural areas. The intensity level meter (AMTAST AMF003) was used with time variations (9:00 JST; 12:00 JST; and 15:00 JST). Measurements of air temperature differences (Krisbow Temperature Humidity Data Logger) were also carried out, and weather conditions were also considered in data collection using satellite data from Himawari, Japan. The interpretation results of intensity level's trend measured at 3:00 pm JST were decreased concerning the changes in days. Meanwhile, the measurement at 09:00 am and 12:00 pm JST did not show a decrement concerning the changes in days (31 days in total). These results show that temperature changes (towards autumn) can affect the intensity level of sound waves. In addition, slightly different intensity levels can affect large changes in acoustic power or the produced sound.

Audiometry is a branch of acoustical measurements that concentrated on testing the devices related to hearing and used in medical part such as audiometer. It is substantial to calibrate the audiometer to assure the measurement traceability and to safe human health. So, it is considered as a major claim. The importance of calibration comes from the request for advanced instrument to test accurately the hearing loss for human, especially for those people who might be at risk due to noise. The conventional audiometry covered from 125 to 8 kHz, while the extended high-frequency (EHF) audiometry above 8 up to 20 kHz, the last-mentioned type may be useful in early diagnosis of hearing loss. The audiometer calibration performed using ear simulator, standard or working microphone, sound level meter, and frequency analyzer according to IEC60645-1. The physical parameters such as sound pressure level, frequency and distortion may be affected by environmental conditions such as temperature change. The gained results observed that the measured value of all the tests performed was affected by temperature variation. There were deviations observed from each performed test’s nominal values in the calibration process as the temperature varies from 16 to 40°C. So, this is a detailed study for the significance, method, and uncertainty estimation for audiometer calibration covering the EHF ranges within the temperature from 16 to 40°C.

Kebisingan merupakan salah satu faktor bahaya fisik yang sering di jumpai di lingkungan kerja, dimana kebisingan tersebut dapat menyebabkan gangguan psikologis serta stress kerja. Menurut NIOSH (2010), penyakit akibat kebisingan kerja ditemukan pada 17.00 kasus dari 59.100 kasus, yaitu sejumlah 1 dari 9 penyakit akibat kerja yang dilaporkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebisingan terhadap stress kerja pada pekerja di bagian <em>mixing </em>PT. ElangPerdana  tyre industry. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan <em>total sampling </em>dengan jumlah sampel 68 responden. Pengambilan data kebisingan dengan menggunakan alat <em>sound level meter </em>wawancara mendalam mengenai alat pelindung telinga serta penyebaran kuesioner. Analasis data penelitian menggunakan aplikasi statistik dengan menggunakan uji <em>Chi-Square. </em>Diketahui nilai <em>p-value </em>Beban kerja mental (<em>p-value=</em>0,022) artinya <em>p- value</em>&lt;0,05 menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara beban kerja mental terhadap stress kerja pada pekerja di bagian <em>mixing</em>. Hasil uji statistik <em>Chi-Square Test </em>diperoleh nilai kebisingan (<em>p-value=</em>0,575), usia (<em>p-value=</em>1,000), tingkat pendidikan (<em>p-value=</em>1,000), masa kerja (<em>p-value=</em>0,680) dari ketiga variable tersebut tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan terhadap stress kerja pada pekerja di bagian <em>mixing </em>PT. Elangperdana Trye Industry, dan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan  51 pekerja (75,0%) tidak mengalami stress kerja dan 17 pekerja (25,0%) mengalami stress kerja. Pengukuran kebisingan pada pekerja di bagian <em>mixing </em>PT. Elangperdana Tyre Industry terdapat 3 titik yang memiliki nilai ambang batas &gt;85 dBA yaitu Feeding CV MIX 2 (93,7 dBA), Mill 2 MIX 2 (89,1 dBA), Cement House (88,1 dBA). Kesimpulan dari penelitian yang memiliki hubungan antara kebisingan terhadap stress kerja yaitu beban kerja mental dan yang tidak memiliki hubungan yaitu, kebisingan, usia, tingkat Pendidikan, dan masa kerja. Saran Melakukan safety talk kepada pekerja sebagai bentuk sosialisasi tentang bahaya kebisingan di tempat kerja kepada pekerja, Tenaga kerja yang bekerja di area bising dapat saling mengawasi, mengingatkan dan menegaskan rekan kerja sehingga dapat membangun kedisiplinan dan konsisten dalam penggunaan Alat Pelindung Telinga.
