To reduce the research to practice gap, promoting the utility of evidence-based repositories is essential among both practitioners and researchers. Organizing these repositories to address the needs of these audiences requires a user-centered design approach as proposed recently in an article by Harden et al, 2020. This commentary builds on the proposed solutions to introduce a recently redesigned Evidence-Based Cancer Control Programs (EBCCP) web repository (formerly Research-Tested Intervention Programs (RTIPs)) from the National Cancer Institute. Specifically, we describe the user-centered redesign process, strategies for broader dissemination of the repository using digital tools and provide future directions for the evidence-based program repository.

<p>We present a detailed global data-set of volcanic sulphur dioxide (SO2) emissions during the period 2005-2017. Measurements were obtained by scanning-DOAS instruments of the NOVAC network at 32 volcanoes, and processed using a standardized procedure. We reveal the daily statistics of volcanic gas emissions under a variety of volcanological and meteorological conditions. Data from several volcanoes are presented for the first time. Our results  are compared with yearly averages derived from measurements from space by the Aura/OMI instrument and with historical inventories of GEIA. This comparison shows some interesting differences which reasons are briefly discussed. Data is openly available through the web repository at https://novac.chalmers.se/.</p>

The knowledge about the monotypic genera Steleocoris Mayr and Theloris Thunberg is restricted to their original descriptions and subsequent nomenclatural acts. These genera are primarily distributed in South Africa and are two of the few genera of Carpocorini (Pentatomidae: Pentatominae) occurring in Africa. Here, we redescribe Steleocoris comma (Thunberg) and Theloris costata (Thunberg) and illustrate the genitalia of both sexes for the first time. Also, an occurrence map is provided based on collection labels from analyzed specimens and records available on GBIF and the web repository iNaturalist.org.

In modern day technology, the level of knowledge is increasing day by day. This increase is in terms of volume, velocity, and variety. Understanding of such knowledge is a dire need of an individual to extract meaningful insight from it. With the advancement in computer and image-based technologies, visualization becomes one of the most significant platforms to extract, interpret, and communicate information. In data modelling, visualization is the process of extracting knowledge to reveal the detail data structure and process of data. The proposed study aim is to know about the user knowledge, data modelling, and visualization by handling through the fuzzy logic-based approach. The experimental setup is validated through the data user modelling dataset available in the UCI web repository. The results show that the model is effective and efficient in situations where uncertainty and complexity arise.

The purpose of this research is to build a repository model and feature the Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) and the Metadata Encoding and Transmission Standard (METS) and MPEG-21 Digital Item Declaration Language (DIDL). The research model used is qualitative research and methods. Application development used is Fourth Generation Techniques (4GT). From the results of the development of the repository by involving the Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) module on the Metadata Encoding and Transmission Standard (METS) and MPEG-21 Digital Item Declaration Language (DIDL), it has been applied to the repository application that was built. The test results using the OAI-PMH URL using the OVAL validator tool found that there were no problems and problems in validating and verifying data in the Identify, ListMetadataFormats, ListSets, ListIdentifiers, ListRecords, and XML Validation commands. While the test results show the success rate in crawling each metadata in the web repository, the average success rate of crawling metadata by Google Scholar is 90%, while the error is known to be 10% because some documents do not have complete metadata such as bibliography and uploaded documents.

Abstract Summary Skyline is a Windows application for targeted mass spectrometry method creation and quantitative data analysis. Like most graphical user interface (GUI) tools, it has a complex user interface with many ways for users to edit their files which makes the task of logging user actions challenging and is the reason why audit logging of every change is not common in GUI tools. We present an object comparison-based approach to audit logging for Skyline that is extensible to other GUI tools. The new audit logging system keeps track of all document modifications made through the GUI or the command line and displays them in an interactive grid. The audit log can also be uploaded and viewed in Panorama, a web repository for Skyline documents that can be configured to only accept documents with a valid audit log, based on embedded hashes to protect log integrity. This makes workflows involving Skyline and Panorama more reproducible. Availability and implementation Skyline is freely available at https://skyline.ms.
