This paper presents a novel mechanism for fingerprint dynamic presentation attack detection. We utilize five spatio-temporal feature extractors to efficiently eliminate and mitigate different presentation attack species. The feature extractors are selected such that the fingerprint ridge/valley pattern is consolidated with the temporal variations within the pattern in fingerprint videos. An SVM classification scheme, with a second degree polynomial kernel, is used in our presentation attack detection subsystem to classify bona fide and attack presentations. The experiment protocol and evaluation are conducted following the ISO/IEC 30107-3:2017 standard. Our proposed approach demonstrates efficient capability of detecting presentation attacks with significantly low BPCER where BPCER is 1.11% for an optical sensor and 3.89% for a thermal sensor at 5% APCER for both.

While there has been notable progress in indigenous-led initiatives related to visual representation, issues of access and misrepresentation still exist and require ongoing advocacy work. In the virtual space, libraries, archives, and museums have an opportunity to increase decolonization efforts through wider dissemination of these images, improved dynamic presentation tools, and better organization of their collections. Nonetheless, online spaces come with their own challenges related to intellectual property ethics, the digital divide, and funding. This article examines issues of representation, organization, and access to digital images, and the role of visual literacy in libraries.

markdoc is a general-purpose literate programming package for generating dynamic documents, dynamic presentation slides, Stata help files, and package vignettes in various formats. In this article, I introduce markdoc version 5.0, which performs independently of any third-party software, using the mini engine. The mini engine is a lightweight alternative to Pandoc (MacFarlane [2006, https://pandoc.org/ ]), completely written in Stata. I also propose a procedure for remodeling package documentation and data documentation in Stata and present a tutorial for generating help files, package vignettes, and GitHub Wiki documentation using markdoc.

The article provides a textual, linguistic and stylistic analysis of the text of Lesіa Ukrainka’s drama “Rufin and Priscilla” and its variants. The source of the study is not only the printed text, but also the handwritten text of the draft autograph of the mentioned drama and several layers presented in it. The motives and means of self-editing of the text were specified, the work of the author on the artistic improvement of the drama as well as the organization of language means were traced, their evolution and the process of stylistic improvement of the text were studied. It was proved that Lesіa Ukrainka attached great importance to the choice of synonyms, looked for words that would most accurately convey subtle semantic nuances. When editing the text, the author tried to find accurate expressions, words that more accurately, more clearly convey the idea; worked on each line, made the expressions more psychologically accurate, emotionally rich and more expressive. Lesіa Ukrainka “smoothed out” the drama, reflecting on every word, made changes that raise the artistic level of the work, facilitate pronunciation, and express the sound. Words, which do not carry a semantic charge or duplicate what had already been said in the text, Lesіa Ukrainka, altered and got the artistically better versions. The author extensively used the syntactic means of stylistics, skillfully identified the necessary word with the help of stylistic capacity of syntax. It was proved that Lesіa Ukrainka used the forms, categories and shades of the meanings of verbs, which are ones of the most stylistically noticeable parts of the language. The analyzed examples testify to Lesіa Ukrainka's thorough work on the text, the organization of language means focused on the emotionally evaluative, multifaceted and expressive perspective of dynamic presentation. The playwright tried to find semantically and psychologically balanced expressions, to choose words that would most accurately define the speaker and the nature of the action and improved the stretched stanzas. When choosing the language means, Lesіa Ukrainka preferred emotionally rich, expressively colored words, avoided the statements that distract the attention at climaxes, selected the most semantically and psychologically accurate expressions that would create the desired situation, motivate the thoughts and the behavior of the actors and the nature of action.

The presented paper describes the creation of a mobile application module for showing a current menu at Mendel University cafeterias. Nowadays, the students and the university staff have the menu accessible through a static webpage. The presented solution serves as a dynamic presentation of the current menu for all Mendel University in Brno cafeterias. Most cafeteria menu applications use the REST architectures for the server backend. The contribution of the paper is in usage of the Google Firebase Realtime database as a server backend. Unlike in traditional REST architecture, the data e.g. the food rating is instantaneously changed and the users have an up to date information. Part of the presented solution is also a mobile application module for both Android and iOS where university students and staff can see the current cafeterias menus.

Image enhancement using optimized methods along with optimized filters is need of current era. A novel technique is proposed in this paper, which have KNN based pixels classifications strategy. This classification is used to identify noise level and only noisy pixels are processed using optimized BM3D using particle swarm optimization. The outside group pixels are brought back into group thereby removing the noise. The process is further followed by resolution enhancement and Retinex for dynamic presentation purpose. The experimentation results are also included in the paper which shows optimum performance.

The author of the article investigates original artistic heritage – experimental art strategies which are repre- sented in short stories by Sigizmund Krzhizhanovskiy. The article gives short biographical information about Krzhizhanovs- kiy as his popularity is growing. The author of short stories is famous for his omniscience talent. Researcher distinguishes such experimental artistic traits as creation of heroes, model of creation individual author’s myth about the world, synthesis of literature kind and sort. These traits are specificity of transitional type of thinking Krzhizhanovs- kiy’s. According to investigations of following scientists M.Epstein, M.Khrenov, Y.Lotman, V.Silantieva Krzhizhanovskiy was identified as prominent representative of transitional cultural period of XX-th century. Researcher demonstrates series of artistic traits which are similar for transitional cultural period of XX-th century and short stories by Krzhizhanovskiy: disintegration of holistic systems; variable and dynamic presentation about existence, world, beauty, true; model of chaosmos; active production new conceptions artistic model of existence and world, human and system of their relationship; eschatological tempers; plurality and multiplicity of worlds; actualization of mythopoetic art; intensification of playing experimental type. Experimental strategies of creating heroes are the next: reconsideration traditional cultural discourse, different meta- morphosis and transformations, using artistic principal of alienation (by V. Shklovsky), active functioning of body’s code, and artistic model of substitution for lifelike heroes. Krzhizhanovskiy experiments also with artistic coordinates of world: space and time (chronotope). Artistic world in short stories by Krzhizhanovskiy disintegrates, splits up and such situations are used for creating plurality and multiplicity of worlds and interworld, quasiworld after apocalypse. Synthesis of literature kind and sort is a bright trait of transitional type of thinking. Short stories by Krzhizhanovskiy show original variants of metric prose. Krzhizhanovskiy uses diversity of principals for rhythmization through all the levels of artistic text. Beside, the principals of musical rhythmization are widely used in short stories. Krzhizhanovskiy coded 23-d Appassionata by Beethoven in one of his short story. The author creates complicated superstructure of the text that confirms diversity of searches artistic synthesis and experimental poetic.
