From the start, the airline industry has remarkably connected countries all over the world through rapid long-distance transportation, helping people overcome geographic barriers. Consequently, this has ushered in substantial economic growth, both nationally and internationally. The airline industry produces vast amounts of data, capturing a diverse set of information about their operations, including data related to passengers, freight, flights, and much more. Analyzing air travel data can advance the understanding of airline market dynamics, allowing companies to provide customized, efficient, and safe transportation services. Due to big data challenges in such a complex environment, the benefits of drawing insights from the air travel data in the airline industry have not yet been fully explored. This article aims to survey various components and corresponding proposed data analysis methodologies that have been identified as essential to the inner workings of the airline industry. We introduce existing data sources commonly used in the papers surveyed and summarize their availability. Finally, we discuss several potential research directions to better harness airline data in the future. We anticipate this study to be used as a comprehensive reference for both members of the airline industry and academic scholars with an interest in airline research.

Glottocodes constitute the backbone identification system for the language, dialect and family inventory Glottolog (https://glottolog.org). In this paper, we summarize the motivation and history behind the system of glottocodes and describe the principles and practices of data curation, technical infrastructure and update/version-tracking systematics. Since our understanding of the target domain – the dialects, languages and language families of the entire world – is continually evolving, changes and updates are relatively common. The resulting data is assessed in terms of the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) Guiding Principles for scientific data management and stewardship. As such the glottocode-system responds to an important challenge in the realm of Linguistic Linked Data with numerous NLP applications.

The national electricity market (NEM) of Australia is reforming via the rapid uptake of variable renewable energy (VRE) integration concurrent with the retirement of conventional synchronous generation. System strength has emerged as a prominent challenge and constraint to power system stability and ongoing grid connection of VRE such as solar and wind. In order to facilitate decarbonization pathways, Australia is the first country to evolve system strength and inertia frameworks and assessment methods to accommodate energy transition barriers, and other parts of the world are now beginning to follow the same approach. With the evolvement of the system strength framework as a new trending strategy to break the transition barriers raised by renewable energy project development and grid connection studies, this paper provides a high-level overview of system strength, covering such fundamental principles as its definition, attributes, and manifestations, as well as industry commentary, cutting-edge technologies and works currently underway for the delivery of a secure and reliable electricity system with the rapid integration of inverter-based resources (IBRs) in the NEM grid. The intent of this study is to provide a comprehensive reference on the engineering practices of the system strength challenge along with complementary technical, regulatory, and industry perspectives.

Imam Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Yusuf bin Abdul Manan Al-Hilmi Al-Amassi is one of the most prominent scholars of the twelfth century in the Ottoman Empire, especially in the islamic science of readings and hadith As for his book (Najah Al-Qari, Sahih Al-Bukhari), it is a great, useful and comprehensive book, the author has emptied his can and exerted his effort until he showed it to the people, a comprehensive collector to views of predecessors, Riwayeten and dirayeten, including to successor sayings with all honesty and care. And that caption all sides jurisprudence of hadith. Might he was hope with that to be his that book a comprehensive reference for everyone who wants to delve into the hadith and its sciences. And this research aims to definition the author’s political, social life and scientific state in addition to studying the hadith in his time. As such that research encompass definition the book “Najah Al-Qari” to Sahih Al-Bukhari, and encompass rank of Al-Bukhari to the Ottoman sultans, and the definition the author’s curriculum in that.  It adopted the inductive approach to extrapolate the texts and collect them within the limits of the research topic. It also adopted the descriptive approach in analyzing and interpreting texts and drawing conclusions, adhering to the limits of the research in focusing on the approach of Imam Yusuf Effendi Zadeh in his book Najah Al Qari. Among the most prominent results that I reached is that Imam Yusuf Effendizadeh's approach in his book Analytical Method, as it is considered in his method of explanation as an explanation mixed with the text.

Simple nucleotide matching identification methods are not as accurate as once thought at identifying environmental fungal sequences. This is largely because of incorrect naming and the underrepresentation of various fungal groups in reference datasets. Here, we explore these issues by examining an environmental metabarcoding dataset of partial large subunit rRNA sequences of Basidiomycota and basal fungi. We employed the simple matching method using the QIIME 2 classifier and the RDP Classifier in conjunction with the latest releases of the SILVA (138.1, 2020) and RDP (11, 2014) reference datasets and then compared the results with a manual phylogenetic binning approach. Of the 71 query sequences tested, 21 and 42% were misidentified using QIIME 2 and the RDP Classifier, respectively. Of these simple matching misidentifications, more than half resulted from the underrepresentation of various groups of fungi in the SILVA and RDP reference datasets. More comprehensive reference datasets with fewer misidentified sequences will increase the accuracy of simple matching identifications. However, we argue that the phylogenetic binning approach is a better alternative to simple matching since, in addition to better accuracy, it provides evolutionary information about query sequences.

Abstract. Radiolarians (holoplanktonic protozoa) preserved in marine sediments are commonly used as palaeoclimate proxies for reconstructing past Southern Ocean environments. Generating reconstructions of past climate based on microfossil abundances, such as radiolarians, requires a spatially and environmentally comprehensive reference dataset of modern census counts. The Southern Ocean Radiolarian (SO-RAD) dataset includes census counts for 238 radiolarian taxa from 228 surface sediment samples located in the Atlantic, Indian, and southwest Pacific sectors of the Southern Ocean. This compilation is the largest radiolarian census dataset derived from surface sediment samples in the Southern Ocean. The SO-RAD dataset may be used as a reference dataset for palaeoceanographic reconstructions, or for studying modern radiolarian biogeography and species diversity. As well as describing the data collection and collation, we include recommendations and guidelines for cleaning and subsetting the data for users unfamiliar with the procedures typically used by the radiolarian community. The SO-RAD dataset is available to download from https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.929903 (Lawler et al., 2021).

Plastic fragments < 5 mm, known as microplastics (MPs), are ubiquitously present in the marine environment. Research on MPs pollution has gradually shifted from field investigations to laboratory studies. With the rapid growth of plastic consumption and the prevalence of aquaculture products, studies on marine MPs have focused on key marine species, such as mollusks. This review summarizes the recent knowledge including 77 important relevant literatures (from 2010 to 2021) on MPs contamination in mollusks with the objectives of (1) elucidating the current status of MPs pollution levels in mollusks, (2) highlighting the main methods and techniques for separation, extraction, and identification of MPs in soft tissues of bivalves and (3) presenting the current research progress and future directions. The review visually presents some of the important results in graphic form, which shows that the most common polymer plastics in bivalves are polypropylene, polystyrene, and polyethylene, and the shapes were mainly fiber and threadiness, mollusks are more likely to feed smaller MPs, most of the MPs in bivalves are less than 500 μm, and the abundance of MPs in seawater and the abundance of MPs in mollusks have a positive relationship, etc. This review will provide a comprehensive reference for studies of microplastics in marine organisms and the ecological pollution, and also has scientific guiding significance in the research method.

Treetop walkways are unique trail constructions. Their support structure suspends a walkway platform several meters from the ground, shuttling among the canopies of trees in the forest. Many countries have built canopy trails for forest recreation, tourism, and other uses. In certain cities, the treetop walkway is no longer a single building unit or forest trail in the narrow sense, and is planned as a multi-functional urban public landscape. This study reviews the development of treetop and elevated forest trails, introduces several representative cases, and provides a comprehensive reference point that fills previous research gaps. We also analyze the Fu Forest Trail, the most representative treetop walkway in China through, inter alia, its modular system, elevated structural, and design appearance. We explore the background and application of treetop trails that connect residents and the environment as a multifunctional urban public landscape in China, and related future research directions. We conclude that treetop walkways have many distinct advantages, and are becoming trendy in forest trail development; there is excellent potential to transform them creatively and innovatively into high-quality forest infrastructure or urban public landscape for public benefit.
