Abstract Quinoline motifs have befallen significant molecules due to their assortment of interest in medicine, chemical synthesis, coordination chemistry, also in the field of applied chemistry. Therefore, various researchers have produced these molecules as objective structures and studied their natal potential. The current chapter endows with concise attention about cancer, anticancer agents, sources (natural) of quinoline, and together with an innovative scope of quinoline-related medicines. Further, the present section gives knowledge concerned with the anticancer activity of synthesized quinolines and their derivatives.

Abstract: The Cenozoic sediments of the Bikaner basin are lithostratigraphically classified into four formations in ascending order of deposition viz., Palana Formation, Marh Formation, Jogira Formation and Kolayat Formation. The present paper records ichnofossils viz., Planolites montanus, P. beverleyensis and Psilonichnus isp from Jogira Formation (Lower Middle Eocene) of Bikaner basin, Western India. The presence of these ichnofossils in a succession exposed in a quarry SE of Jogira Lake plays a significant role in deciphering the depositional environment of Jogira Formation. In the present section two ichnofossil horizons are marked, the lower horizon is dominated by Psilonichnus isp whereas upper horizon is conquered by Planolites montanus, and P. beverleyensis. The sedimentological characteristic features and associated ichnofossils from the studied succession infer that the deposition of the sediments of the Jogira Formation initiated with lagoonal to backshore environment with the formation of mudstone and sandy shale, later with rise in the bathymetry from onshore to shallow marine environment, fossiliferous limestones were formed.

Mm. Yy! Over the past time, you have never had to observe during practical work in the Likhachevsky maternity hospital, the difficulty of childbirth, because of the wrong positions or wrong turns of the baby during childbirth. So, you saw the transverse position of the fetus during childbirth, the irregular cranial, cranial with the presentation of the handles of the fetus, requiring the intervention of art for the end of childbirth; they also saw not how the posterior types of cranial positions during childbirth did not go into the anterior, but the birth took place with the back of the fetus facing backward, causing more or less difficulty in childbirth, sometimes also requiring the intervention of art; Finally, you have not seen cases when the presenting head of the fetus during childbirth did not make the proper turns, or made incorrect, sometimes excessive, and in many of these cases you observed a very early appearance of signs of intrauterine asphyxiation of the fetus, which began to be difficult to explain and did not for the salvation of the baby of the immediate end of the delivery by an operative way. Undoubtedly, such cases raised in you first of all the question of why they happened, why they were caused and why they could not have been prevented, were foreseen and would have been normal for the course of labor in such cases. I wish to sort out the ethology of these irregularities in the present section and then give you answers to questions that arise involuntarily.

The idea that the study of national states is no longer useful due to globalization is questioned. The four chapters in the present section on the state in Latin America aim at deepening our knowledge of the responsibilities they shoulder and limitations they face.

This chapter examines constructions involving coordination, starting with its analysis in early LFG works. Section 16.1 investigates the syntax of simple clausal coordination. Section 16.2 discusses coordinate structures involving verbs and other argument-taking predicates and the challenges that they present. Section 16.3 discusses f-structure features and their behavior in coordinate structures, with a particular focus on the distinction between distributive and nondistributive features. Section 16.4 presents the theory of nonconstituent coordination, and Section 16.5 discusses unlike coordination. Section 16.6 discusses coordination patterns crosslinguistically. Section 16.7 examines the semantics of clausal, predicate, and verb coordination. Finally, Section 16.8 examines noun phrase coordination and the syntactic and semantic properties of coordinated noun phrases, which may include person, number, and gender features.

One of the most puzzling explanatory challenges to language attrition research is to identify the circumstances and predictors under which any particular speaker is likely to experience more or less attrition phenomena: it is a well-established finding that speakers who use more than one language in their daily lives develop increased variability concerning their first language (L1) skills across the full range of the linguistic repertoire, from phonetics through the lexicon and morphosyntax to pragmatics and beyond. However, the search for predictive factors—those features of an individual’s personal background, language habits and experience, and attitudes and motivation which may contribute to making someone a good vs. a poor L1 maintainer—has, to date, been largely inconclusive. This chapter provides a brief overview of the available research and sketches some open questions, before introducing the contributions to the present section.

At the heart of most investigations into language attrition are the actual linguistic manifestations of the process: observable phenomena of how a particular individual uses or comprehends language differently after becoming bilingual from how they used or comprehended it in the past, or from how other monolingual speakers do this. This chapter gives a brief introduction to how research into these phenomena has unfolded and developed historically, and also presents a ‘sneak preview’ to some aspects of ongoing research, particularly in the area of phonetics/phonology and lexical access. It then introduces the contributions to the present section.

Class 1 nuclear vessel heads with ellipsoidal or torispherical geometries offer several advantages over spherical heads. They shorten the overall height of the vessel, reduce internal volume, lower the vessel center of gravity, and are more economical. At present Section III only offers tentative thickness formulas for spherical heads in NB-3324 [1]. This paper proposes the addition of tentative thickness formulas for Class 1 torispherical and ellipsoidal heads. A large family of finite element analyses over a practical range of vessel geometries and pressures is used to establish the new thickness equations.

In This paper proposed an area space  vector PWM technique  that reduces switch  victims of an electrical converter  mainly efficiently by two-phase modulation technique. This technique chooses the most favorable one  that  minimizes  a replacement  switch (SW) defeat judgment  supported lessening belongings in switch period allowing for  section currents in numerous lessening patterns. This paper proposes  an  basic  curved  PWM  technique . The  planned  technique  created  it  attainable  to  scale  back  range  of  switch  of  the  biggest  or  second  major present  section .  And it will  mechanically  acclimatize  to  weight  circumstances  with  varied  power factors. The purpose of the presented study is to analyze the social representations about the information security of children and adolescents in groups of teachers. The study is based on the ideas of the social representations theory, in particular, on the connection between social practices and social representations. The object of the study was teachers of secondary schools, the sample was 102 people aged 22 to 65 years, (M = 39.36 years, SD = 11.12 years, 91 women and 11 men). As a matter of the experience of schoolchildren all respondents were divided into three groups: teachers of children, teachers of adolescents, teachers of children and adolescents. The subject of the study was to reveal the specificity of the representations of teachers about the information security of children and adolescents. The supposed to revel the specificity of the representations as a matter of experience with schoolchildren of various ages. To test the assumptions, a questionnaire was developed, it consisted of 6 parts: In the first part, respondents were asked to evaluate this or that type of information, in terms of the threat it poses to the safety of children and adolescents. In the next four parts of the questionnaire, respondents were asked to answer questions of so-called «vignettes» (hypothetical situations), in each case it was necessary to propose a plan of action in the situation. The last part contained socio-demographic issues. As the volume of the article is limited, the present section discusses the results of the threat assessment and two hypothetical situations out of four.
