Empowerment of Posyandu Cadres in Assisting Infant Massage at Fatululi Pustu, Kupang City

One form of growth and development stimulation that has been carried out by the community is by doing baby massage. Baby massage has many advantages, including reducing the habit of crying, gaining weight, making it easier for babies to sleep, practicing eye contact with the mother, reducing the baby's hormone stress level. The purpose of community service activities is to increase knowledge and skills of baby massage practice for Posyandu cadres and increase baby's weight and sleep quality. Materials used; phantom, questionnaire and internet quota.The methods are Pretest, Giving Materials through Lectures, Discussion/Question, Video screening and Posttest Followed by demonstrations, redemonstrations and direct massage practice on babies to improve Baby Massage Practice Skills. Results: Knowledge of baby massage before and after being given material with an assessment using the same instrument resulted in an increase in knowledge from a value of 50 to an average value of 80 values ??(minimum 70, maximum 90). Baby massage practice skills also increase along with the increase in knowledge so that it has an impact on weight gain and better sleep quality in babies. Conclusion; There is an increase in knowledge of cadres about infant massage followed by an increase in skills in terms of baby massage practices and the direct impact experienced by babies, namely increased weight gain and better sleep quality after being massaged every day regularly for 2 weeks.

Pelatihan Online Pembuatan Makanan Fermentasi Wadi

ABSTRAKSalah satu penerapan proses fermentasi terjadi pada produk perikanan. Wadi merupakan hasil fermentasi ikan yang banyak sekali diminati oleh masyarakat Kalimantan Selatan. Wadi merupakan salah satu proses fermentasi ikan atau daging secara tradisional yang berbentuk ikan utuh semi basah, berwarna agak hitam (mendekati warna ikan segar), bertekstur liat dengan aroma ikan khas fermentasi serta mempunyai cita rasa yang asin. Wadi memiliki waktu simpan yang lama sekitar 6 sampai 12 bulan. Kurangnya keterampilan dalam pengolahan wadi mengakibatkan wadi tidak bisa tahan lama sehingga wadi menjadi cepat busuk. Selain itu, belum ada wadi kemasan yang beredar dipasaran sehingga untuk masyarakat luar Kalimantan Selatan sulit untuk mendapatkan produk wadi ini. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab serta demonstrasi atau praktek secara daring/online. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang baik bagi peserta pelatihan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusias peserta pelatihan dalam sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab untuk mencari informasi yang lengkap mengenai teknik fermentasi serta pelatihan dalam pembuatan wadi. Wadi is a fermented fish product that is in great demand by the people of South Kalimantan. Wadi is one of the traditional fish or meat fermentation processes in the form of semi-wet whole fish, slightly black (close to the color of fresh fish), clay texture with a distinctive fermented fish aroma, and has a salty taste. Wadi has a long shelf life of about 6 to 12 months. Lack of skills in wadi processing resulted in wadi not being able to last long so that the wadi rotted quickly. In addition, there is no packaged wadi on the market so it is difficult for people outside South Kalimantan to get this wadi product. This training uses lecture, discussion, question and answer methods as well as online demonstrations or practice. This training resulted in good knowledge and understanding for the participants of the wadi making training. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the training participants in the discussion and question and answer sessions to seek complete information about fermentation techniques and training in wadi making. Optimalisasi Kemitraan Dukun dengan Bidan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mamba Kabupaten Manggarai Timur Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur

ABSTRAK Kepercayaan masyarakat Manggarai Timur terhadap dukun sebagai penolong persalinan masih cukup tinggi. Program kemitraan dukun dengan bidan merupakan salah satu cara untuk mencegah terjadinya pertolongan persalinan oleh dukun. Program ini sebagai salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan cakupan pertolongan persalinan oleh tenaga kesehatan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan program kemitraan dukun dengan bidan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mamba Kabupaten Manggarai Timur, sehingga cakupan pertolongan persalinan oleh dukun tidak terjadi lagi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh kepala puskesmas, dukun, dan bidan setempat. Motode yang digunakan adalah melalui edukasi dengan penyajian materi menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab serta pembagian leaflet dan lembar balik kepada peserta. Semua peserta yang ikut dalam kegiatan ini sangat antusias dan aktif dan mampu memahami materi yang disampaikan. Peserta bersama bidan dan pemerintah setempat berkomitmen untuk bekerja sama dalam meningkatkan program kemitraan dukun dan bidan ini. Diharapkan, dengan kegiatan ini cakupan pertolongan persalinan oleh dukun tidak terjadi lagi. The shaman's partnership program with the midwife is one way to prevent birth assistance by shamans. This program is one of the strategies to increase the coverage of delivery assistance by health workers. This activity was carried out to improve the traditional healer's partnership program with midwives in the Mamba Health Center Work Area, East Manggarai Regency so that the coverage of delivery assistance by traditional birth attendants would no longer occur. This activity was attended by the head of the health center, traditional healers, local midwives, and pregnant women. The method used is through education by presenting the material using lecture, discussion, question and answer methods, and distributing leaflets and flipcharts to participants. All participants who took part in this activity were very enthusiastic and active and were able to understand the material presented. Participants together with midwives and the local government are committed to working together in improving this partnership program between traditional healers and midwives. Strategic Learning Management Training during the Covid-19 Pandemic at SMKN 3 Depok

Schools from all grades from elementary to secondary levels in have recently adopted the so-called remote learning, whether online or offline. The relatively unfamiliar learning conditions triggered some panic, not only among students but also teachers and parents alike. This sudden change also caused a similar shock to the students at SMKN 3 Depok. Consequently, the students experienced decreased enthusiasm and motivation, and many teachers were affected in how they should meet the learning objectives. The strategic learning management training during pandemic for students is a solution to boost the students’ motivation and help organize their learning more strategically. The training method is conducted in material presentation, discussion, question and answer, and experience sharing sessions to 255 students of class X SMKN 3 Depok City. The outcome shows how this activity has reignited the students’ learning enthusiasm and motivation.

Pemberdayaan Ibu-Ibu Posyandu Sentolo Lor Melalui Edukasi Bahaya Pembalut dan Ecoliteracy: Upaya Preventif Permasalahan Kesehatan Reproduksi & Lingkungan

AbstrakPembalut merupakan kebutuhan primer bagi setiap perempuan yang telah mengalami masa pubertas. Namun, banyak kalangan wanita yang tidak terlalu memperdulikan personal hygiene pada saat penggunaan pembalut sekali pakai, sehingga berisiko terhadap kesehatan organ reproduksi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di Dusun Sentolo Lor, Kecamatan Sentolo, Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. masih banyak remaja dan ibu-ibu yang utamanya belum mengetahui dan memahami bahaya pemakaian pembalut sekali pakai. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran bahaya pembalut sekali pakai, cara menjaga personal hygiene, dan mengajak mitra untuk beralih ke pembalut ramah lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan (ceramah), diskusi, tanya jawab, serta evaluasi program. Hasil evaluasi program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dari setiap indikator setelah edukasi dilaksanakan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di Dusun Sentolo Lor. Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, Posyandu, Pembalut, Personal Hygiene. AbstractSanitary napkins are a primary need for every woman who has experienced puberty. However, many women do not really care about personal hygiene when using disposable sanitary napkins, so it poses a risk to the health of the reproductive organs. Based on the results of observations in Sentolo Lor Hamlet, Sentolo District, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. there are still many teenagers and mothers who mainly do not know and understand the dangers of using disposable sanitary napkins. This activity aims to raise awareness of the dangers of single-use sanitary napkins, how to maintain personal hygiene, and invite partners to switch to environmentally friendly sanitary napkins. The implementation method used is counseling (lecture), discussion, question and answer, and program evaluation. The results of the program evaluation showed a significant increase in each indicator after the education was implemented. Thus, this service activity has succeeded in improving the quality of human resources in Dusun Sentolo Lor.Key Word: Empowerment, Posyandu, Sanitary Napkins, Personal Hygiene.

The Effectiveness of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) and Cooperative-Discussion-Question (Coop-Dis-Q) in Teaching Reading Comprehension

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of collaborative strategic reading (CSR) and cooperative-discussion-question (Coop-Dis-Q) strategies in teaching reading comprehension students with impulsive and reflective cognitive learning styles. To improve students' reading comprehension skills, the researcher wants to study both strategies. This research used 2x2 factorial experimental designs. The subjects were XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 4 classes of SMAN 1 Pangkah, Tegal Regency. They were divided into two groups, and categorized impulsive and reflective students. The instruments used were test, pre-test, post-test, and questionnaires. This research indicated that collaborative strategic reading (CSR) was more effective than cooperative-discussion-question (Coop-Dis-Q) to students with impulsive cognitive learning styles. Simultaneously, there was no significant difference between the students who were taught by using collaborative strategic reading (CSR) and those taught by cooperative-discussion-question (Coop-Dis-Q) with reflective cognitive learning style. It meant that CSR was more effective for the students with impulsive cognitive learning styles, while Coop-Dis-Q was effective for the students with reflective cognitive learning styles. Based on the findings, the researchers concludes that CSR and Coop-Dis-Q appeared to improve the students' reading comprehension skills for both impulsive and reflective students.

Implementation of Learning Method Variations in Fiqh Subject for the Seventh Grade at MTS Yapi Pakem

<p><em><span>The use of varied and suitable methods will undoubtedly encourage the success of the learning process carried out. However, some teachers still ignore this, especially regarding the use of methods in the learning process. Therefore, it is necessary to research the ability of teachers who teach fiqh lessons in implementing variations of learning methods at MTs Yapi Pakem. This study aims to be used as a benchmark for schools and teachers in seeing the extent to which the implementation and success of the learning method variations. The approach in this study was descriptive qualitative, taking the background of MTs Yapi Pakem. Data collection was done by using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. To check the data validity, triangulation of sources, techniques, and time was carried out. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique consisted of data reduction, data presentation by giving meaning to the data collected, and from that meaning, conclusions or verification were drawn. This study’s results revealed that 1) in the implementation of the seventh-grade fiqh learning at MTs Yapi Pakem, various learning methods had been used. Meanwhile, the combination variations included lectures - question and answer – assignments, lecture-discussion - question and answer, lecture - assignment - question and answer. 2) For its implementation from planning to implementation, its use was quite good but still lacking in evaluation.</span></em></p>

PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU MELALUI PELATIHAN PENGGUNAAN MEDIA ICT

ABSTRAKTujuan utama pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengelola kelas online melalui pelatihan penggunaan media information and communications technology (ICT) bagi guru-guru PAUD IT dan SD IT Harapan Bunda. Media ICT yang dipilih oleh guru-guru PAUD IT dan SD IT Harapan Bunda adalah berbasis Google Forms dan Google Meet. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan pemberian materi, diskusi/tanya jawab, dan praktek langsung pembuatan media ICT yang digunakan. Untuk mengetahui keberhasilan kegiatan pengabdian ini, dilakukan evaluasi dengan pengisian angket respon terhadap kegiatan PKM, angket kepuasan serta angket kompetensi profesional guru. Dari hasil angket menunjukkan rata-rata persentase respon peserta pelatihan terhadap pelaksanaan PKM ini menjawab sangat setuju sebesar 70,7%. Tingkat kepuasan peserta pelatihan dari segi materi, penyampaian materi, proses diskusi serta pelatihan individu adalah 93,3%. Sedangkan sekitar 73,3% menyatakan mengalami peningkatan terkait kemampuan menggunakan media ICT dan pengelolaan kelas online. Dari hasil pelatihan juga disarankan agar guru-guru di masa pandemi ini lebih memahami dan menggunakan media ICT agar pembelajaran lebih efektif dan menyenangkan ­ Kata kunci: kompetensi; media ICT; pelatihan; profesional ABSTRACTThe main objective of community service is to increase teacher competence through training in the use of ICT media for PAUD IT and SD IT Harapan Bunda teachers. The ICT media chosen by PAUD IT and SD IT Harapan Bunda are based on Google Forms and Google Meet. The training was carried out by providing materials, discussion / question and answer, and direct practice of making the ICT media used. In addition to the introduction of ICT media, this training also conducted an assignment to better understand the use of online ICT media. Reliable in this service activity, evaluation is carried out by filling out questionnaires and direct interviews. The results of the questionnaire showed that the average proportion of training participants on the implementation of this community service answered strongly agree at 70,7%. The level of satisfaction of the training participants in terms of material, material delivery, discussion process, individual training was 93,3%. Meanwhile, around 73,3% stated that the increase was related to the ability to use ICT media and manage online learning. From the results of the training, it is also recommended that teachers during this pandemic better understand and use ICT media so that learning is more effective and fun. SOSIALISASI PENGISIAN PROFIL BELAJAR SISWA INKLUSIF DI SDN 1 DAN MI AL-FATHIYAH LENDANG ARA KOPANG LOMBOK TENGAH

Student learning profile is an instrument that can help teachers to identify learning difficulties experienced by students, especially those with functional barriers. Therefore, this activity aims to improve the ability of teachers in filling out student learning profiles to teachers at SDN Lendang Ara and SDN Jurit with a total of 20 participants. This activity was carried out using presentation, discussion, question and answer methods and group work. Through presentations and question and answer sessions the team provided a conceptual understanding of the nature of inclusive education in primary schools, the goals and benefits of inclusive education. The socialization of filling in the student learning profile instruments was guided through presentations and discussions between the team and the teacher. Teachers in groups accompanied by teams fill out student learning profile instruments to identify learning barriers experienced by students. This community service activity recommends that universities and the government be more intense in socializing inclusive education programs and holding capacity training for teachers to be able to present solutions for the learning of children with functional barriers

Pengembangan Kemampuan Menulis Ilmiah Berbantuan Manajemen Referensi Mendeley bagi Guru-Guru SMA/Sederajat di Kabupaten Bintan

Sebuah karya tulis ilmiah yang berisi karya inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran sangat diperlukan oleh guru-guru sebagai syarat kenaikan pangkat dalam pengembangan profesi mereka, termasuk guru-guru SMA/sederajat di Kabupaten Bintan. Namun, pada umumnya mereka mengalami kendala dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah disebabkan kesulitan dalam mencari sumber referensi yang relevan dengan topik penelitian, keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam TIK, dan kesulitan dalam mengolah kalimat agar tidak terdeteksi sebagai kegiatan plagiasi. Tujuan kegiatan ini agar para guru SMA/sederajat di Kabupaten Bintan dapat membuat karya tulis ilmiah yang sesuai kaedah penulisan yang baik dan bebas plagiasi dengan bantuan manajemen referensi Mendeley. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dalam bentuk workshop/pelatihan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan projek. Kegiatan dilakukan selama dua hari dalam bentuk workshop dan dua hari dalam bentuk tugas mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dianggap berhasil karena sebesar 80% peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang manajemen referensi Mendeley dan mampu mengaplikasikannya ke dalam bentuk karya tulis ilmiah yang bebas plagiasiKata Kunci: GMP; Terasi Tutok, Standarisasi; Kuala Pusing Kapal.Development of Mendeley Reference Assisted Scientific Writing Ability Management for High Schools Teachers in BintanAbstractA scientific paper containing innovative work in the learning process is very much needed by teachers as a condition of promotion in their professional development, including high school / equivalent teachers in the Bintan Regency. However, in general, they experience difficulties in making scientific papers due to difficulties in finding reference sources that are relevant to the research topic, limited knowledge in ICT, and difficulty in processing sentences so as not to be detected as plagiarism activities. The purpose of this activity is for high school / equivalent teachers in Bintan Regency to be able to make scientific papers in accordance with good writing methods and to be free of plagiarism with the help of Mendeley's reference management. The implementation of this activity is in the form of workshops/training using lecture, discussion, question and answer, and project methods. The activity was carried out for two days in the form of a workshop and two days in the form of an independent assignment. This community service activity was considered successful because 80% of the participants experienced an increase in knowledge about Mendeley's reference management and were able to apply it in the form of plagiarism-free scientific papers.
