Paper deals with a new constructive solution of a massive concrete pillar intended, mostly, for construction of railway and road bridge supports and with procedure of rationalization of its parameters. Statement and solution of the problem of strength and stability of a concrete support, which has an external mesh cage, reinforcing rings (frames) and an internal cavity is considered. The contact stresses between the concrete core and the metal cage are determined, which, in turn, depend on the attributes of the cage and the frames. The rationalization criterion based on minimizing the potential energy of deformation is introduced. For the indicated task, the variables are the thickness of the mesh cage, the size of its cell, the step and the cross-section of the frames. Support with rational parameters which depend on characteristics of cage and frames gives the lowest material consumption and the highest bearing capacity that is the aim of the approach of investigation.

Major recent developments of gear pump with external mesh is introduced in this paper, In order to enlarge the application range of the gear pump, a kind of variable type gear pump is designed. The whole design process is described in detail, the entire structure use a triplet, The driven gear can move through variable stem, it result in the change of displacement, it can refer to design of variable gear pump.

In the tradition of Dr Arom, who had many interests in his clinical and research career, I will touch on three things that will impact the practice of clinical cardiac surgery over the next several years: use of bilateral internal mammary arteries, use of external mesh support to improve saphenous vein graft patency, and anticoagulation of mechanical heart valves. The remainder of the presentation goes into depth on the development of a bloodless heart surgery program, which is contemporary and timely as it encompasses some thoughts of this society.

The cycle function of input flow rate was obtained by Fourier transformation of the instantaneous input flow rate of external mesh gear pump. The model of hydraulic system consisting of gear pump, spring, piston and load was established, the differential functions of the model were established too. The influence of dynamic compensating characteristics in the system caused by both pistons with different area and stiffness of spring was analyzed with MATLAB software and the change of fluctuating flow in the same system was obtained. The simulation result shows that the flow fluctuation of external mesh gear pump could be reduced by using the spring-piston system.

Abstract. The aim of this paper is to report on an experimental study about Turkish Earthquake Code on suggested strengthening method. The proposed method uses existing brick infill walls and the strengthening is done with the application of external mesh reinforcement and plaster. 5 nonductile 1/2 scaled, one bay, two storey RC specimens were tested under a reversed cyclic loading. The first two specimens were reference specimens and the other ones were strengthened with the proposed method. The specimens contained several design and construction mistakes such as low concrete quality and improper steel detailing. Strength, stiffness and storey drifts of the test specimens were measured. The results of the test on these frames were compared with the reference specimens. The effects of the reinforced mesh plaster application for strengthening on behaviour, strength, stiffness, failure mode and ductility of the specimens were investigated. Unexpected failure modes were observed during the testing and the results were summarized in this paper.
