Iron deficiency condition in obstetrics and gynecology

The article describes role of iron in the human body, the conditions associated with it’s deficiency, including in those who are pregnant and lactating women. The expediency of early diagnostic and appropriate treatment was noted. The role of enteral forms of iron, in the treatment of iron-deficiency conditions was described.
