Electroresistive method for monitoring the technical condition, quality, reliability and safety the supports of rolling of electrical machines

The necessity of monitoring the technical condition of the rolling supports of electric machines has been substantiated. It is proposed to use the electrical resistance of the bearing as an indicator of the technical condition the rolling support. The results of mathematical modeling of electrical resistance in the form of a function of resistance from factors of the internal environment of the bearing and modes of its assembly and operation in a rolling bearing are presented. An electroresistive method for monitoring the technical state the rolling support is proposed, which differs from the known methods by original algorithms for collecting information about the state of bearing parts, experimental studies have been carried out to confirm the efficiency of this method.

Absorption methods of control of technical condition of electrical insulation

The article provides an overview of the most common methods for monitoring the technical state of electrical insulation, based on the applying of absorption phenomena arising in dielectric materials under the influence of DC voltage. The main provisions of the control method based on determining the voltage at the electrodes of the investigated capacitive control object, which is recovering after a short-term discharge of its capacity, are described. The main aspects of the application of the polarization index and the absorption coefficient for determining the technical state of insulation by using the coefficients characterizing the change in time of the current through the dielectric when a constant test voltage is applied to it are analyzed. The advantages of using absorption methods for monitoring the technical state of electrical insulation, first of all, are the ability to carry out testing without the necessity of applying of relatively high test voltages, which greatly simplifies all the necessary technical operations. Such control methods show a significant dependence of the informative parameters used in them on the technical state of insulation on the degree of development of slow polarization processes in the material under study and, therefore, are successfully used to determine the degree of moisture in tested electrical insulation.

Development of a Method for Evaluating the Technical Condition of a Car’s Hybrid Powertrain

The article presents the results of a study performed and substantiated based on the principles of a new method of diagnostics of technical conditions of a hybrid powertrain regardless of the structural diagram and design features of a hybrid vehicle. The presented new technology of the diagnostics of hybrid powertrains allows an objective complex assessment of their technical condition by diagnostic parameters in contrast to existing diagnostic methods. In the proposed method, a mechanism for the general standardization of diagnostic parameters has been developed as well as for determining the numerical values of the parameters of the powertrain. The control subset was used to control the learning error. As a result of debugging the system, the scatter of experimental and calculated points has decreased, which confirms the quality of debugging the tested fuzzy model. As a result of training the artificial neural network, the standard deviation of the error in the control sample was 0.012·Pk. A symmetry method of diagnostics of the technical state of a hybrid propulsion system was developed based on the concept of a neural network together with a neuro-fuzzy control with an adaptive criteria based on the method of training a neural network with reinforcement. The components of the vector functional include the criteria for control accuracy, the use of traction battery energy, and the degree of toxicity of exhaust gases. It is proposed to use the principle of symmetry of the guaranteed result and the linear inversion of the vector criterion into a supercriterion to determine the technical state of a hybrid powertrain on a set of Pareto-optimal controls under unequal conditions of optimality.

Estimating efficiency of forecasting technical conditions of ship propulsion systems

The article considers an approach to assessing the effectiveness of the most common methods of predicting the technical conditions and failure with reference to the ship shafting. There have been analyzed the main factors in operation of the ship shaft line, which cause the change in its technical state. It has been found that a special feature of some loads acting on the propeller shaft is their stochastic or changing nature over time, which hampers predicting the technical state of the shafting and its units. The features of stochastic and extrapolation forecasting methods have been analyzed. The possibility of using statistical methods in conditions of mass standard production of shafting units with a relatively short regulated service life is estimated. An extrapolation method is proposed for predicting the maximum permissible clearance of stern tube bearings. The case of accumulating samples of measuring results of the propeller shaft sagging in the given time intervals is considered, the approximating functions are constructed. The criteria for the reliability of the results of extrapolation methods for predicting the wear of stern tube bearings are determined. There have been developed the proposals for adapting the causal method as an alternative to the extrapolation method. A schematic diagram of a system for the ship shafting failure predicting has been developed using the registration and analysis of vibration parameters, which serves as the basis for constructing a regression model of damage accumulation. The proposed forecasting system allows studying the actual operating conditions of the shafting, defining the actual external loads and the regularities of their occurrence, measuring deformations and stresses, and determining quantitative indicators of the reliability of the shafting during normal operation and special operating modes, for example, with vibration resonance. The theoretical basis of the algorithm for calculating and registering loads affecting the service life of shafts is proposed.
