Lettuce production in Indonesia is still low, so the demand for lettuce cannot be fulfilled. Lettuce production can be increased with aeroponic systems because aeroponic systems can be carried out in various places including urban areas and areas that have high land conversion.. The purpose of this study was to study and obtain the best time intervals of nutrition in lettuce New Grand Rapid varieties with the Aeroponic System. This research was conducted in a screen house in Leuwimalang Village, Cisarua, Bogor Regency, West Java from August to November 2019. The study used a single factor randomized block design (RBD), consisting of 6 treatments with 5 replications, so that there were 30 experimental units. t1 = 30 seconds (on): 5 minutes (off)]; [t2 = 30 seconds (on): 10 minutes (off)]; [t3 = 30 seconds (on): 15 minutes (off)]; [t4 = 30 seconds (on): 20 minutes (off)]; [t5 = 30 seconds (on): 25 minutes (off)]; [t6 = (Non Stop)]. The provision of nutrition with different time intervals in the aerophonic system gave different effects on the average plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf area and fresh weight per lettuce plant, and continuous nutrition treatment (Non Stop) gave the results of fresh weight the highest was 203.10 g

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: pertumbuhan dan hasil selada berbagai varietas yang ditanam dengan budidaya hidroponik sistem rakit apung, pertumbuhan dan hasil selada berbagai nilai EC yang ditanam dengan budidaya hidroponik sistem rakit apung, kesesuaian model Cobb-Douglas untuk produksi selada hidroponik sistem rakit apung. Penelitian dilaksanakan di screen house Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, Desa Dukuhwaluh, Kecamatan Kembaran, Kabupaten Banyumas. September sampai November 2016. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan rumah kaca (screen house) dengan menggunakan rancangan petak terbagi (split plot), petak utama terdiri dari nilai EC (P) dan anak petak terdiri dari varietas selada (V). Petak utama adalah nilai EC (P), terdiri dari P1 = EC 2; P2  = EC 3; P3  = EC 4, Anak petak adalah varietas (V), terdiri dari V1 = varietas new grand rapid; V2 = varietas red ava; V3 = varietas chris green. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa varietas menunjukan hasil sangat nyata pada variabel jumlah daun, volume akar, kadar klorofil, bobot basah tanaman, bobot basah akar dan varietas selada yang memberikan hasil terbaik untuk sistem hidroponik rakit apung dengan melihat variabel tinggi tanaman,  jumlah daun, volume akar, kadar klorofil, panjang akar,  bobot basah tanaman, dan bobot basah akar adalah varietas Chris green, perlakuan nilai EC menunjukan hasil sangat nyata pada variabel N total jaringan dengan nilai EC 4 dan hasil yang diperoleh yaitu 1,32 %, model persamaan matematik dengan fungsi Cobb-Douglas belum bisa memvalidasi data penelitian dikarenakan error tinggi, sehingga Y Model tidak mengikuti Y Observasi</p><p> </p><p>Kata kunci : Permodelan, selada, hidroponik rakit apung</p>

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a widely known leave vegetable.  This vegetable is so rich in nutrient contents particularly vitamins and minerals that people can consume it to meet their nutrient requirements.  This study was aimed at assessing the effects of sea grass organic fertilizer administration on the growth and production of lettuce.  The study was conducted at the trial farm of Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Djuanda University, Bogor from March to April 2014.  A completely randomized design with two factors consisting of lettuce variety (V) and sea grass organic fertilizer (R) was used.  The varieties of lettuce consisted of curly lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. New grand rapid) (V1) and red lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. new red fire) (V2).  Sea grass organic fertilizer (R) was given in three levels, namely no fertilizer (R0), 500 kg/ha (0.5 recommended rate) (R1), 1000 kg/ha (1.0 recommended rate) (R2),  1500 kg/ha (1.5 recommended rate) (R3), and 2000 kg/ha (2.0 recommended rate) (R4).   Keywords: lettuce variety, sea grass organic fertilizer, growth and production.
