The article deals with the lingual analysis of the precedent phenomena in a short story «The ABC Murders» written by A. Christie. Having considered different approaches to the definition of the precedent phenomenon the author singles out the main properties of that phenomenon. It has been found out that the layer of precedent names is represented by such lingual units as anthroponyms and their derivatives, toponyms and their derivatives, ergonomics and titles of literary works. Verbalization of barbarisms of French etymology and catch phrases constitute the layer of precedent expressions. As for the layer of precedent text it is actualized by quotations with authorship. In the context of the narration, the precedent units carry out a number of functions. Some of the precedent elements take part in the shape of the plot of the story by naming protagonists, place or time of the narration. In the explanatory function they bring additional information or arguments to the speech. Precedent phenomenon with positive connotation applied by the speaker to himself allows him to express self-criticism. In the expressive function it makes the speech sound more emphatic. Precedent phenomenon used in the emotive function indicates at the emotional state of the speaker. In the descriptive function it restores a vivid image of the object or subject. Characterizing function highlights a certain feature of the protagonist.

The article deals with the results of analysis of coloratives in the Veronica Dolina’s poetic world view. Veronica Dolina is one of the most famous contemporary Russian poetess-bards. Her creation inherits the traditions of Russian women lyrics of XX century, the poetry by A. Akhmatova and M. Czvetayeva in particular. The collection of the coloratives is identified. The сollection of coloratives is diverse and coincides with the common Russian language set. The color dualism of V. Dolina’s world view, fight between light and dark, white and black in particular is marked. The main functions of coloratives in lyric texts by V. Dolina are defined, such as: artistic and expressive that means to describe interior things, natural phenomena, appearance of characters and lyrical heroine; characterizing function that means to characterize lyric heroines’ feelings, emotions; evaluation function than means to evaluate interior objects and lyric heroines’ internal experience; esthetic function than means the authors’ original transformation of coloratives; meaning-making and text-making functions that mean to transformed things and abstract concepts with color epithets into separate poetic characters, to feel them with special original life meaning. It is emphasized that color lexemes represent the V. Dolina’s specific poetic world view characteristics such as integrity of perception, an inseparable connection of the perceived visually objective world with the world of woman’s soul emotions. All these facts allow to V. Dolina maximally individualize her own poetic world view. The color spectrum surrounding the lyric heroine, the circumstances she perceives when thinking about the future and the present correlates with the lyric heroine’s feelings and emotions. The research perspective is conceptual analysis of the V. Dolina’s poetic world view.

We develop a non-parametric information geometry on finite-dimensional matrix manifolds by using the Fréchet differentiation. Taking the simplest prototype Riemannian metric form [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] with the Fréchet derivative D on a pair of smooth functions g(ρ) and g*(ρ) of the density matrix ρ, we prove the WYD identification theorem: this metric is identified with the normalized Wigner–Yanase–Dyson skew information (the WYD metric), if and only if the metric form satisfies the monotonicity under every stochastic mapping T on ρ and A: [Formula: see text]. On this basis, we establish (a) a fine structure of the partial order in the set ℱ of all monotone metrics such that ℱ power ∪ℱ WYD forms a linearly ordered subset of ℱ with the same mini-max bound, where ℱ power (the power-mean metrics) interpolates the Bures and the WYD metrics (b) a characterization of the quasi-entropy S (ρ, σ)= Tr F (Δσ, ρ)ρ induced by the metric-characterizing function f WYD (x) of the WYD metric (c) an affine connection on the above metric which is torsionless to guarantee the quantum version of the ±α-connection, provided α∈[-3, 3].
