ABSTRAK Pencegahan stunting merupakan program prioritas pembangunan di Indonesia sampai tahun 2024. Nutrisi pada periode 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK), yaitu sejak janin berada dalam kandungan sampai usia 2 tahun kelahiran sangat penting diperhatikan sebagai upaya pencegahan resiko stunting. Kader kesehatan berperan penting dalam self-care management nutrisi ibu selama kehamilan sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting. Permasalahan yang dihadapi kader Kesehatan di Desa Talang Benuang dan Lokasi Baru Kecamatan Air Priukan sebagai desa dari 20 desa lokasi khusus (lokus) stunting di Kabupaten Seluma tahun 2020 adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang stunting dan 1000 HPK sehingga belum memiliki bekal yang cukup untuk melaksanakan perannya sebagai pelaku penggerak masyarakat dalam mewujudkan kesehatan termasuk dalam pencegahan dan penanganan stunting. Tujuan  PKM  adalah memberdayakan kader sebagai garda terdepan dalam meningkatkan self-care management nutrisi ibu hamil untuk  meminimalisir risiko stunting pada anak balita. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 11 (sebelas) orang kader. Metode kegiatan adalah melakukan sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan kader dalam self-care management nutrisi ibu hamil. Hasil kegiatan adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan serta kemandirian kader dalam memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan pada ibu hamil dalam self-care management nutrisi. Kader diharapkan  mengaplikasikan pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang telah diperoleh untuk memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan terhadap ibu hamil di wilayahnya. Kata Kunci : Kader kesehatan, Self-care management nutrisi, Stunting  ABSTRACT Prevention of stunting is a priority development program in Indonesia until 2024. Nutrition in the first 1000 days of life (HPK), which is from the fetus is in the womb until 2 years old, is very important to consider as an effort to prevent the risk of stunting. Health cadres play an important role in the self-care management of maternal nutrition during pregnancy as an effort to prevent stunting. The problem faced by health cadres in Talang Benuang Village and Lokasi Baru Village of Air Priukan Subdistrict as a village of 20 special locations (locus) for stunting in Seluma Regency in 2020 is a lack of knowledge about stunting and 1000 HPK so that they do not have sufficient provisions to carry out their role as perpetrators driving the community in realizing health, including the prevention and management of stunting. The goal of PKM is to empower cadres as the front guard in improving nutrition self-care management for pregnant women to minimize the risk of stunting in children under five. The participants were 11 cadres. The method was to conduct socialization, training, and mentoring cadres in self-care management of nutrition for pregnant women. The result of the activity was an increase in knowledge, skills, and independence of cadres in providing education and assistance to pregnant women in nutrition management self-care. Cadres were expected to apply the knowledge and abilities they have acquired to provide education and assistance to pregnant women in their area. Keywords: Health cadres, Self-care management nutrition, Stunting

Acute pancreatitis (AP) is an acute inflammatory process of the pancreas that is characterized by severe abdominal pain, elevated pancreatic enzymes, and pancreatic changes on abdominal imaging. AP is, by nature, an inflammatory process that leads to protein catabolism and an increased metabolic rate, highlighting the strong need for early nutritional support in the initial management of the disease process. The goal of nutritional support in acute pancreatitis is to correct the negative nitrogen balance to reduce inflammation and improve outcomes. Many trials and multiple systemic reviews and meta-analyses have examined the best modality, timing, and composition of nutritional support for acute pancreatitis. Early enteral nutrition has emerged as an important aspect of the clinical management of AP. This narrative review aimed to provide an overview of the clinical management of nutrition in acute pancreatitis based on the currently available data.

This study aims to determine the management of nutrition management and the level of knowledge of athletes in SMA Sports, Riau Province. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the management of athletes nutrition in Riau Province Sports High School had been working with the catering party. The level of knowledge of athletes about nutrition is in a good category. Athletes need a program that maintains and increases the athlete's knowledge of nutrition. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) nutrition management in Riau Private State Senior High School provides food intake services for athletes based on applicable Standard Operating Procedures 2) athletes have a good level of knowledge about nutrition. Athletes also adopt a healthy lifestyle by consuming a balanced nutritious diet.

Background: Diet is an important factor in cardiovascular disease. Germinated brown rice (GBR) can be used as a dietary option in the management of cardiovascular disease. Invitro data and animal experiments show that GBR has a hypocholesterolemic effect that can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Objective:. to explore the hypocolesterolemic effects of GBR as an effort to manage nutrition to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and the potential for GBR as part of the management of nutrition in cardiovascular disease. Methods: This study uses the literature review method. Artukel selection uses an electronic database in the form of Scopus, ScienceDirect, Open Access Library (OALIB), Google Scholar, and Pubmed. Publication searches are conducted with restrictions between 2013 and 2015. Result : Invitro data and animal experiments show that GBR has a hypocholesterolemic effect that can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. GBR bioactive compounds such as am-aminobutyric acid (GABA), γ-oryzanol, dietary fiber, phenolics, vitamins, and acylated steryl β-glucoside can be used as lipid profiles, increased gene related to consumption, and increased lipolysis. Conclusion: consumption of GBR can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

ABSTRACT Nutrition officer are nutrition service providers at the Primary Health Care (PHC) who carry out their duties in a management system to produce as targeted outcomes programs. This study aims to get an overview of the management of nutrition services and determine their relationship with the quality of nutrition officer in PHC in areas with high dan low nutritional status. The method used is cross sectional. The research sample was 67 nutrition officer in PHC (32 in West Bandung Regency and 35 in Depok City) and conducted in 2018. As the dependent variable was implementation of nutrition service management, while the independent variables consisted of internal factors (age, years of service, education, knowledge, motivation) and external factors (infrastructure, workload, funding, training, supervision, and leadership support). Data analysis uses Pearson, Spearman, T-test and Mann-Whitney. The results showed that internal factors that have a relationship with the management of nutrition services are motivation (p=0,000) while the external factors are infrastructure (p=0,004). Age has a relationship with planning with the direction of a negative relationship. This means that the more you age the planning process decreases. There was a significant difference in the planning processes by nutrition officer that had nutritional education backgrouds than non-nutritional education backgrounds (p<0,05). It is necessary to improve the quality of nutrition officer through guidance, fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure, monitoring and evaluation, and fulfillment of nutritionist through coordination between government institutions including a strong commitment from the leadership of the PHC. Keywords: management, nutrition services, nutrition officer   ABSTRAK Tenaga pelaksana gizi (TPG) merupakan pelaksana pelayanan gizi di puskesmas yang melaksakan tugasnya dalam suatu sistem manajemen untuk menghasilkan capaian program sesuai target. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran penyelenggaraan manajemen pelayanan gizi dan menilai hubungannya dengan kualitas TPG puskesmas di wilayah dengan status gizi tinggi dan rendah. Metode yang digunakan adalah potong lintang. Sampel penelitian 67 orang TPG puskesmas (32 TPG Kabupaten Bandung Barat dan 35 TPG Kota Depok) yang dilakukan pada tahun 2018. Sebagai variabel terikat adalah manajemen pelayanan gizi, sedangkan variabel bebas meliputi faktor internal (umur, masa kerja, pendidikan, pengetahuan, motivasi) dan faktor eksternal (sarana, beban kerja, dana, pelatihan, supervisi, dan dukungan pimpinan). Analisa data menggunakan pearson, spearman, uji-t dan mann-whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal yang memiliki hubungan dengan penyelenggaraan manajemen pelayanan gizi adalah motivasi (p=0,000) sedangkan faktor eksternalnya adalah sarana (p=0,004). Umur memiliki hubungan dengan perencanaan dengan arah hubungan negatif. Artinya semakin bertambah umur maka proses perencanaan semakin berkurang. Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna dalam proses perencanaan antara tenaga pelaksana gizi dengan latar belakang pendidikan gizi dan non gizi (p<0,05). Perlu peningkatan kualitas TPG melalui pembinaan, pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana, pemantauan dan evaluasi, serta pemenuhan tenaga gizi melalui koordinasi antar lembaga pemerintah termasuk komitmen yang kuat dari pimpinan puskesmas. In the context of nutritional disaffection with a dominant food and agricultural system and the social questioning of everyday nutritional habits, we studied what Eating Well means to people and what role organic food plays in their lives. We conducted 11 discussion groups that were carried out in Andalusia, Spain; participants had different socio-demographic characteristics—they lived in either rural or urban areas, had different purchasing channels, and practiced varying degrees of organic food consumption. The investigation revealed (1) the motives and limitations for the consumption of organic foods, as perceived by the consumers of organic foods, and (2) the everyday strategies practiced to overcome these limitations. In both cases, this research transcends the classical analyses focused on the price of a product, when proposing a framework for alternative strategies that are based on the ordinary knowledge and practices of the consumers, by looking at consumption through an integrated lens that is rooted in the notion of what consumers consider to be Eating Well. This study shows that Eating Well—according to the criteria of the consumers and the implemented strategies—breaks from the dichotomous or exclusive focus on economic or ideological motives, and revalues feminine and rural knowledge and practices, for a comprehensive management of nutrition.

Management of nutrition during pregnancy for maternal composite ewes has the potential to improve lamb production and survival in prime lamb production systems but existing condition score (CS) guidelines developed for Merinos may not be appropriate for the optimum production of maternal ewes. To address this, three replicated experiments were conducted at two research sites in Victoria and one in Western Australia. Ewes (781–800 per site) were allocated to four CS treatments following pregnancy scanning (~Day 50) and differentially fed to reach approximate targets of CS 2.4, 2.8, 3.2 and 3.6 by lambing. Single and multiple bearing ewes grazed together, and nutritional treatments were applied until the end of lambing after which ewes and lambs were aggregated into management groups containing all treatments. At lambing, maternal ewe liveweight had a range between treatments of 13.7–19.1 kg (average 16.4 kg) and CS varied by 1.1–1.5 of a CS (average 1.24). Across site analysis indicated that lamb birthweight and weaning weight increased with application of higher CS treatments (P &lt; 0.001). There was also an improvement in survival of multiple born lambs with increasing CS at lambing (P &lt; 0.001). Birthweight was significantly related to survival (P &lt; 0.001) at all sites with no significant effect of birth type on lamb survival. Changes in birthweight and weaning weight could be predicted from ewe joining liveweight, ewe liveweight change to Day 90 and ewe liveweight change Day 90 to lambing. The coefficients derived for each of these effects were similar to those found in previous experiments examining Merino and crossbred Border Leicester Merino ewes. The optimum CS targets for multiple bearing maternal composite ewes may be higher than the industry recommended target for Merino ewes based on advantages in lamb survival and weaning weight.
