Study of the 4He(4He,4He)4He* inelastic scattering at the MAGNEX facility

The 4He(4He,4He)4He* inelastic scattering was revisited in a new coincidence measurement at the MAGNEX facility of Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare – Laboratori Nazionali del Sud. The 4He + 4He → 4He + 4He* → 4He + 3H + 1H and 4He + 4He → 4He + 4He* → 4He + 3He + n reactions were measured simultaneously by detecting the 4He particles at the MAGNEX magnetic spectrometer in coincidence with the 3H and 3He at the OSCAR silicon telescope. The main concept of the experiment is described and the data reduction strategy is reported.

Identification of different reaction channels in 6Li + 89Y experiment by the particles-γ coincidence measurement

This short paper presents the investigation of reaction mechanism induced by 6Li through a particle­γ coincidence measurement. The data have been taken from a 6Li+89Y experimentwhich is performed inINFN-LNL, Italy. In this experiment, the light charged particles are detected by a Si­ball, named EUCLIDES, and the γ rays are collected by a HPGe detector array, called GALILEO. In this contribution, scientific motivations, experimental details and some results, such as α­γ analysis, are presented.
