Abstract In this paper NiO nanoparticles are utilized for effective strengthening of annulated pyrano [2, 3- d] pyrimidine synthesis through primary Knoevenagel, the following Micheal and ultimate heterocyclization reactions of aldehyde, malononitrile and barbituric acid. The NiO nanoparticles characteristics are identified through using advanced techniques like IR, UV, EDX, XRD, SEM and TEM. The nano-NiO particles are mostly of below < 100 nm sizes with uniform sphere shapes. The adopted approach is advantages due to its simple processing, relatively short reaction time, often good to high average yields, convenient workability, and environmental friendliness.

A dodecyl/amino functionalized polysiloxane (RASO) was firstly prepared by copolymerization of octamethylcyclotetrasiloane (D4), aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane (KH-551), dodecylmethyldimethoxysilane (HD-109), and hexamethydisiloxane (MM) under basic catalyst. Then novel carboxylated polysiloxane (RCAS) was prepared by reaction of RASO with maleic anhydride. Finally RCAS was emulsified with alkyl alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (AEO) to form RCAS emulsions which were utilized in leather waterproofing. The as-synthesized RCAS was characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, TEM, and Particles size distribution (PSD) analyses, respectively and effect of dose of RCAS emulsion on hydrophobicity of the treated crust leather was also investigated in this work. Results showed that RCAS emulsion particles presented an uniform sphere with an average diameter of 96 nm. When dose of RCAS emulsion was larger than 6% (based on the weight of wet blue leather), the RCAS treated leather possessed better water-repellent property and water contact angle (WCA) on the grain side and flesh side of that could attain 130° and 138°, repectively.

When the observation station and the satellite or the spaceship are coplanar, the earth can be approximated into an uniform sphere. By applying the sine rule of plane geometry, the orbit arc length can be calculated which each observation station can measure. Numbers of observation stations should at least be established can be calculated by using the ratio method. When the earth’s self-rotation is taken into account, we can calculate the fewest numbers of observation stations by calculating the area of spherical surface that each station can observe and combining the division of regular hexagon of a football. In the end, the article analyzes the related material of ShenZhou V and the period of time of each station.
