N. R. C. MONOCOMPARATOR

In view of the increasing importance of monocular measurements and the corresponding demand for a precise monocular comparator, an instrument with the novel idea of a multiple measuring mark was originated at the National Research Council of Canada. The characteristic features of this instrument, called the N.R.C. Monocomparator, based on the multiple measuring mark system, are: built-in precision and dimensional stability, fast slewing motion, and very simple optical system.
